Jerami Grant will start for Steven Adams (concussion) again tonight
Grant will draw the start for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers in place of the injured Steven Adams for the second consecutive contest. Grant should be expected to see in the ballpark of the 33 minutes he saw in the Thunders’ previous game sans Adams, making him a fine value option on the late slates across the industry. However, Enes Kanter should still remain the top target in the Oklahoma City front court, as he should play extended minutes off the bench. As long as this tilt with Golden State stays somewhat competitive, it would be difficult to imagine Kanter and Grant not reaching or exceeding value.

Avery Bradley (Achilles) ruled out tonight
Bradley was a late scratch from the Celtics’ lineup for tonight’s game against the New York Knicks due to a sore right Achilles that has now forced him to miss five of the last six games. Unfortunately, this news broke post-lock and Bradley was never assigned an injury designation prior to game time. Marcus Smart will replace him in the starting lineup once again and is a viable value option. According to our CourtIQ tool, Isaiah Thomas has a 3.0% usage rate differential (38.2%) with Bradley off the court this season. Clearly, with Bradley unavailable, Thomas is just further cemented as an elite option on DraftKings in an exploitable matchup with the Knicks’ back court defense.

DeRozan will play and start in tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers despite earlier reports that he may be rested on the second night of a back-to-back set. This news is a knock to the projected fantasy outlook of Kyle Lowry, but both he and DeRozan are viable options this evening.

Kyle O'Quinn confirmed as the starter in place of Joakim Noah
Noah will not play in tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics after previously being listed as questionable on the Knicks’ injury report with a sore right ankle. With Kristaps Porzingis and Lance Thomas also unavailable, Kyle O’Quinn will draw the start at center by default and has the potential to approach the 30-minute plateau if Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek is willing to give him the run. O’Quinn is now one of the top value options on the slate, even if he sees minutes in the mid-20s, given his elite fantasy point per minute production.
Klay Thompson (personal) intends to play tonight
Klay Thompson flew to Portland to visit his ill grandfather. He intends to return to Oakland tonight to face the Thunder. He’s a strong play that could have less than usual ownership in a high-scoring game. Still, since there is a chance that he might not make it since he is not in the state, Thompson remains a GPP play. Kevin Durant will be an elite option regardless of format against his former team.

Fournier will not play in tonight’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans after previously being listed as questionable on the Magic’s injury report with a sore right foot that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Jodie Meeks will start at shooting guard in his place and has averaged approximately 35 minutes per game in Fournier’s most recent injury stint, making him an elite punt option on Wednesday’s slate. Additionally, Serge Ibaka owns a 2.6% usage rate differential (25.9%) with Fournier off the court this season.

With Anderson off the court this season, James Harden (41.6%) and Eric Gordon (29.1%) both own a usage rate differential north of 3.7% and are obviously fine options on this slate, along with Ariza.

Leuer will not play in tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks after previously being listed as questionable on the Pistons’ injury report with a right knee bone bruise that has now forced him to miss four consecutive games. Tobias Harris will continue to start at power forward in his place and is a viable option but grades out as more of a secondary play given the projected game environment in this matchup with Atlanta. Although, Harris and Marcus Morris will continue to see as many minutes as they can handle, which increases their floors and potential ceilings.

Patterson was recently inserted into the Raptors’ starting lineup, replacing the duo of Norman Powell and Lucas Nogueira, who had each recently had stints with the starting unit. With Nogueira already ruled out, Pascal Siakam will likely draw the start at power forward.Theoretically, with how thin Toronto is in the front court, Jonas Valanciunas should see over 30 minutes of run in a matchup against Joel Embiid, but his minutes are still too volatile to be confidently recommended as anything other than tournament option. Valanciunas also carries the additional risk of foul trouble, as Embiid is one the best big men in the Association at drawing fouls and getting to the line.

McConnell is expected to displace Sergio Rodriguez from the starting lineup, sending him back to the bench to resume his reserve role. This news basically removes both McConnell and Rodriguez from daily fantasy consideration, as they continue to split the point guard minutes. McConnell could be worth a look in tournaments but his price has caught up with his production, leaving little room for potential profit and upside.
