Deron Williams (illness) questionable for Tuesday's game vs Wizards
Deron Williams was unable to participate in practice due to an illness and if he misses the game expect Seth Curry and Devin Harris to benefit in an expanded role. Curry has the highest upside and could easily play 30 minutes if Williams is out. Look for another update tomorrow after the Mavericks’ shootaround.

Marc Gasol (ankle) questionable for Tuesday
Marc Gasol is dealing with an ankle injury and is questionable to play against the Lakers. Zach Randolph started the last game that Gasol missed and would be an elite option against the Lakers on Tuesday. Look for another update tomorrow regarding Gasol and the Grizzlies.

The Golden State big man has come down with an illness and has been listed by the team as questionable for their game tonight against the Denver Nuggets. It’ll mean more minutes for Zaza Pachulia if he can’t go but with the Warriors tendency to run with small rotations it’s not a big enough boost to make Pachulia a must play – he is worth a GPP flyer or two, however, with the potential for 20+ minutes.

Jameer Nelson and Kenneth Faried are questionable for tonight; Darrell Arthur remains out
Nikola Jokic could be in line for some extra minutes with Arthur already ruled out and Faried dealing once again with back issues. Nelson joins those two on the injury report and if he can’t go, it’s a bump to the value of Emmanuel Mudiay who is in play regardless against the fast-paced Warriors. We’ll provide updates on Faried and Nelson as soon as they come in.

The Hornets announced that Zeller has been placed in the league concussion protocol and will miss Monday’s game against the Bulls. There is no timetable for his return but for now expect Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert to see an uptick in minutes. Neither are attractive DFS options, however, due to limited upside.

Beal missed Washington’s last game with an ankle injury but appears to be on track to play tonight after being a full participant in the morning shootaround. He’s a viable option in tonight’s slate facing the defense of James Harden (Houston is 24th in SG DvP) at a attractive price point for his upside.

It looks that Rondo’s demotion is more permanent as Bulls Head Coach Fred Hoiberg stated that MCW would start today with Jerian Grant backing him up. Carter-Williams didn’t have a very good return in his last game out but at his price tag at the two major sites he has to be in consideration given his role.

It looks as if the Knicks young star big man will sit out tonights game against the Magic with hopes that he will be able to play on Wednesday. He’s a bit sore and the Knicks are playing it safe with their future. Lance Thomas would likely get the start in his absence but is not a viable DFS option. Derrick Rose and Carmelo Anthony, however, would both see a significant usage bump with Porzingis out.

Burks hasn’t played yet this season as he’s been recovering from knee surgery but has been cleared and will be available tonight when Utah faces the Brooklyn Nets. He won’t be a viable option right now as he’ll obviously be limited in regards to his playing time and the Jazz already have a deep rotation.

Patterson will not play in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers after previously appearing as a late addition to the Raptors’ injury report due to a strained left knee he sustained in Thursday’s contest. Raptors head coach Dwane Casey had stated earlier in a pregame interview that he will likely hold Patterson out Sunday for precautionary reasons. With Patterson officially ruled out, Paskal Siakam will, in theory, have an opportunity to see additional minutes at power forward, though it is just as likely that Toronto rolls with a small ball lineup more often instead. That scenario would allow Terrence Ross and Norman Powell to see extended minutes on the wing off the bench.

Alec Burks (ankle) upgraded to questionable for Monday; George Hill (concussion) and Dante Exum (knee) ruled out
Burks has officially been upgraded to questionable for tomorrow night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets after being sidelined for the entire season thus far due to off-season ankle surgery. The Jazz will obviously ease Burks back into action after missing so much time, but if he is able to suit up, he could enter the back court rotation and split backup minutes with Joe Ingles and Raul Neto with George Hill and Dante Exum already ruled out in advance of Monday’s contest. Speaking of, Shelvin Mack will likely start at point guard once again and will be an elite option in all formats, along with Gordon Hayward and Rudy Gobert, in an outstanding, pace-up matchup with this defensively incompetent Nets’ squad.

Livingston and McCaw have been listed as questionable for tomorrow night’s game against the Denver Nuggets due separate ailments. McCaw hasn’t seen the court in any of the Warriors’ previous three games, and is in danger of missing his second straight contest, so obviously his absence will not have any direct impact on the rotation. If both McCaw and Livingston are unable to play, Ian Clark will absorb nearly all of the backup guard minutes behind Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. The blowout factor is extremely high in this matchup and Clark could make for an intriguing tournament dart throw, especially if he is able to accumulate a significant amount of blowout run.

Harris has been listed as questionable for tomorrow night’s game against the Utah Jazz after missing the Nets’ previous two games with a hip pointer. Bojan Bogdanovic would likely remain in the starting lineup at small forward alongside Sean Kilpatrick and Isaiah Whitehead. With Jeremy Lin still sidelined, Kilpatrick will assume a large majority of the ball handling responsibilities but does draw a difficult matchup with this Jazz defensive unit. Kilpatrick remains the preferred target on this Nets’ squad on a night-to-night basis along with big man, Brook Lopez, while Lin remains out.

Lillard will not play in tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a sprained left ankle that has now forced him to miss four consecutive games. With Lillard officially inactive, Allen Crabbe should be expected to draw the start at shooting guard once again in his place, while C.J. McCollum will take over as the starting point guard and be the primary ball handler and facilitator for Portland. In addition, Shabazz Napier continues to assume the backup point guard role off the bench, but isn’t a particularly viable option considering he has averaged just north of 14 minutes per game in the last three games. With Lillard off the court this season, McCollum unsurprisingly leads the Trail Blazers with a 5.9% usage rate differential (34.7%). Needless to say, McCollum is an elite option in all formats for tonight’s slate with Lillard unable to suit up.
