Rajon Rondo a game-time decision for Bulls today after tweaking ankle in practice
The Bulls starting PG tweaked his ankle in practice yesterday and is considered a game-time decision tonight when they face the Minnesota Timberwolves. If he can’t go, Jerian Grant would likely get the start and would immediately become a top value option. We’ll update you as soon as news on Rondo’s status comes in.

Kent Bazemore probable to play tonight for Atlanta
Bazemore is probable to play after missing Atlanta’s last two games due to a knee injury. This will move Tim Hardaway Jr. back to the bench removing him as a viable DFS option. They face a Magic team that is one of the slowest paced teams in the league and the game has the second lowest total of the night so Bazemore is probably best left out of your lineups.

The Suns forward has missed the past 11 games with a head injury (non-concussion) and is considered questionable for their game Tuesday against the Knicks after taking part in Monday’s practice. There are some concerns with his timing and conditioning so he won’t be a viable DFS option just yet if he does play.

Aminu has been confirmed in the Trail Blazers starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers after surprisingly being upgraded to probable after originally being listed as doubtful on the Trail Blazers injury report. Players that get slapped with the doubtful designation, rarely play, making his updated status all that more unexpected. This news sends Ed Davis back to the bench to resume a reserve role. With Aminu back in the lineup, Ed Davis, Meyers Leonard, and possibly even Evan Turner all will see a bump down in their projected fantasy value this evening.

Al-Farouq Aminu (back) upgraded to probable for tonight
Aminu has surprisingly been upgraded to probable for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers after originally being listed as doubtful on the Trail Blazers injury report. Players that get slapped with the doubtful designation, rarely play, making his updated status all that more unexpected. If Aminu is able to suit up, it will be a bump down to the fantasy value of Ed Davis, Meyers Leonard, and possibly Evan Turner. It has yet to be announced whether Aminu will start and/or be limited by a minutes restriction in this contest. We will continue to provide updates should they become available prior to game lock.

Russell and Young will play in tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings after previously being listed as probable on the Lakers’ injury report. They both will remain on a minutes restriction in their second game back from injury stints, though Lakers coach Luke Walton hinted that Young could see his workload increased. Even so, it’s unlikely to be a significant increase over the 20 minutes he saw in the previous game. Russell is expected to be brought a long more slowly and will remain in the 16-18 minute range this evening. Their presence in the lineup, albeit a limited presence, is eating away at the minutes of Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams, making it difficult to feel comfortable rostering any of them outside tournaments, in hopes one or two of them get hot from the field.

Griffin will play in tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers after missing the Clippers previous game due to a sore right knee. He will immediately rejoin the starting lineup, but will not displace anyone, as his replacement, Austin Rivers, has already been ruled out for tonight’s contest due to a concussion. Griffin is not expected to be limited by a minutes restriction and remains one of the top options at any position for the late slates across the industry.

Gasol will not play in tomorrow night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to rest. In previous game Gasol missed this season, Jarell Martin drew the start at center and is certainly a candidate to do so once again. With the trio of Gasol, Mike Conley, and Chandler Parsons off the court this season, Zach Randolph has recorded an elite usage rate of 37.9%, a 3.8% increase over his season average, while posting well over a fantasy point per minute. The biggest concern in this matchup is the potential (likely) blowout factor, which would leave Randolph short of the necessary minutes he would likely need to crush value. Still, with that said, he’s shaping up to be a viable cash game option for this depleted Grizzlies squad. As for Vince Carter, he is listed as questionable on the Grizzlies Injury report with a strained right hip flexor. If he is unable to suit up, Troy Daniels and Troy Williams will continue to absorb a majority of the extra wing minutes, along with vetaran shooting guard, Tony Allen.

Chandler and Arthur will be available to play in tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after being listed as probable and questionable on the Nuggets injury report respectively. In Chandler’s recent one-game absence, Kenneth Faried and Juan Hernangomez both were beneficiaries of extended run off the bench. With the entire Nuggets frontcourt rotation now active and available, expect that playing time to dissipate for both Faried and Hernangomez.

Walker will play in tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers after being listed as probable with a left knee contusion. There has not been any report of a potential minutes restriction, and he is expected to be a full go in this contest. Walker is a viable tournament option across the injury this evening, though his home and road splits are a real concern, and with the Hornets on the road at Indiana, there seems to better floor and ceiling options priced around him.

James Johnson (shoulder) and Luke Babbitt (hip) will both warm up with the intent to play tonight
Johnson and Babbitt will both go through pregame warm-ups for tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards. Barring a setback in warm-ups, both forwards are expected to give it a go. There hasn’t been any confirmation of a potential minutes restriction for either player, but it is likely that their minutes will at least be monitored in some capacity. If Johnson and Babbitt are available to play, it would be a knock to the fantasy value of Rodney McGruder, Derrick Williams, Josh McRoberts, and to a lesser extent, Josh Richardson. It may be best to avoid the Heat players all together until we get a handle on the updated rotation, though Goran Dragic, Hassan Whiteside, and Tyler Johnson would be the exceptions.

Holiday has officially been listed as probable for tomorrow night’s game against the Golden State Warriors due to the turf toe issue that had previously kept him sidelined. He is clearly still bothered by the injury in some capacity, though he is an intriguing tournament option for Tuesday’s slate. If for some reason Holiday is unable to suit up, Tim Frazier would likely draw the start and would become an elite option across the industry in all formats.

In addition to not playing in tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, Ellis will not travel with the team for their upcoming three-game road trip, and has effectively been ruled out for those games as well. In his absence, Glenn Robinson III will draw the start at shooting guard this evening. Barring a lineup change, we should expect Robinson to continue starting while Ellis remains sidelined.

Papagiannis has been recalled from the Reno Bighorns for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, is not expected to be active. His presence on the roster currently does nothing to impact the Kings’ rotation.
As reported by: James Ham Justin Hamilton (illness) ruled out for tonight
Justin Hamilton will miss his second consecutive game due to migraines. He was not making a huge DFS impact to begin with and his minutes will likely go to Trevor Booker or Luis Scola. Since the Nets got blown out by the Spurs in their previous game we were not able to see a full rotation. Since they are large underdogs against the Rockets tonight, it’s possible that Booker sees under 30 minutes again tonight. Booker was playing extremely well before his last game and they will need him to perform well to stay in this game.
