D'Angelo Russell, Nick Young, and Julius Randle all probable for Lakers tonight
The Lakers will be at almost full health tonight facing the Kings as Russell, Young, and Randle are all probable for the team tonight. Randle is the best DFS option of the three as Sacramento is bottom five in the league in PF DvP.

Al-Farouq Aminu a game-time decision for Portland tonight
Aminu has been struggling in his return for injury and Head Coach Terry Stotts stated he is a game-time decision for their game tonight against the Clippers. He’s not a viable DFS option if he does play as the Clippers are tops in the league in PF DvP.

Early news on Chandler – he’s been upgraded to probable for Denver and is expected to play tonight when they face the Mavericks. Chandler has been held under 20 fantasy points in 2 of his last three games after a hot run that saw him top 40 three times since November 25th. Facing a Mavericks defense that defends SF’s well and battling an injury, there’s merit to fading him tonight. Darrell Arthur was also added to the team injury report and is questionable.

The Clippers forward missed their last game on Saturday due to a sore knee but it was hinted that the day off was more rest than anything. Griffin is expected to play tonight against the Trail Blazers and is a viable option against a horrific Blazers defense.

Kent Bazemore – went through half of practice and his status for the Hawks game on Tuesday in uncertain. Tim Hardaway Jr. is the biggest beneficiary if he sits.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – was just rested on Sunday and went through a full practice today. Should be good to go for Wednesday’s game against Dallas.
Victor Oladipo – missed practice today for the Thunder. His status for tomorrow against Utah is unknown.
Rodney Hood and Derrick Favors – both players participated in practice on Monday, albeit limited. Their status for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder is questionable with Hood the more likely of the two to play.
Bismack Biyombo and Nikola Vucevic – both players did not practice for Orlando on Monday are are listed as questionable for their Tuesday game against Atlanta. Biyombo is the more likely of the two to play. Serge Ibaka and Aaron Gordon benefit the most from either player’s absence.
Zaza Pachulia – the Warriors big man is doubtful for their game against New Orleans on Tuesday. The Warriors generally go with a small rotation so their is no valuable option that will replace him (Kevon Looney started for him last game but only played 18 minutes).

Lin will return to the court tonight after a lengthy absence but he’s going to come off the bench as his minutes are monitored. Isaiah Whitehead and Sean Kilpatrick both take a hit in their value and Lin remains off the DFS radar for tonight at least due to the potential minutes limitation.

It was reported that the Hawks rookie would play just one game with the D-league team and that was the case as he’s back with the active roster. He’s not part of the rotation and is not a viable DFS option.

The Heat have announced that Johnson (rotator cuff) and Babbitt (hip flexor) are both game-time decisions for the team tonight. Justise Winslow continues to remain out. Neither Johnson or Babbitt are viable DFS options but their absence would mean more minutes for current top of the rotation guys. We’ll provide updates later today on these two when they become available.

The injury was originally diagnosed as a sore groin but it’s been downgraded to a strain. He’s been struggling of late regardless so the team will be in no rush to bring him back. Glenn Robinson and Rodney Stuckey are the biggest beneficiaries of this news, however, Charlotte (their opponent tonight) does a good job of defending SG’s as they are 7th in DvP.

Niang has been brought up to the active roster from Indiana – he’s not a viable DFS option as he’s not expected to be a big part of their rotation.

The Mavericks were hoping to get Nowitzki back today for their game against Denver but he’ll remain out along with Barea and Bogut. Dwight Powell and Salah Mejri will continue to benefit with both Nowitzki and Bogut out.

Young will play in tonight’s game against the New York Knicks after being sidelined for the Lakers’ previous eight games with a strained right calf. He will be reinserted into the starting lineup, sending Brandon Ingram back to the bench to resume a reserve role. However, Young will have his minutes restricted in his return, along with D’Angelo Russell, meaning that Ingram and Jordan Clarkson remain viable tournament targets for at least one more game despite their demotion to the bench. Lou Williams is still in play as a cash game option on the late slates, as his role is the least likely to affected by the return of Russell and Young, especially with the duo expected to see limited playing time.

E'Twaun Moore (toe) will be limited to 20 minutes off the bench tonight
Moore will play in tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns after being sidelined with a toe injury in the Pelicans previous three games. With Moore and Jrue Holiday available to play, Tim Frazier will head back to bench to resume a reserve role with New Orleans nearly at full strength. Buddy Hield will somewhat surprisingly remain in the starting lineup at shooting guard over Moore. However, it’s safe to avoid the aforementioned trio of backup guards in every format with Holiday and Moore are active, at least until we get a better idea of Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry’s rotation.

O’Quinn will not play in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to a sprained right ankle. Guillermo Hernangomez will more than likely handle a majority of the backup center minutes in O’Quinn’s absence, while Joakim Noah and Kristaps Porzingis could see some additional minutes over their usual allotment. Noah, Derrick Rose, and Carmelo Anthony still remain the top targets on this Knicks squad for the late slates.

Russell will play and start in tonight’s game against the New York Knicks after being listed as probable throughout the day.. Russell had been sidelined for the Lakers previous 10 games, and his return to the lineup will presumably displace Jordan Clarkson from the starting unit. However, Russell will be limited to an unspecified minutes restriction, meaning that Clarkson could still be a viable option, especially on the later slates, depending on the availability and status of Nick Young. Speaking of Young, he is still listed as questionable and will be on a minutes restriction if he is able to suit up for this one. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide any updates should they become available before game lock.
