Dirk Nowitzki will miss next two games for Mavericks
Mavericks Head Coach Rick Carlise stated that Nowitzki would miss at least the next two games while he continues to recover from his Achilles injury.

The Grizzlies starting PG is expected to miss a minimum of six weeks, if not more. Andrew Harrison should become the starting PG and will immediately be a great DFS play until his price catches up with his new role.

The Lakers young PF went through a full shootaround this morning as they prepare to take on the Pelicans tonight but the team won’t know for sure whether or not he is playing until closer to tipoff. Thomas Robinson would likely get the start if he sits again and he’d be a fine value option. Larry Nance and Brandon Ingram are the other two players that are impacted the most by this news. Clippers Head Coach Doc Rivers stated that he could potentially rest key starters over the remainder of their three game road trip but would not state who and when. It’s a situation to keep a close eye on and if the Clippers are playing a late game could be a tie-breaker when making your lineup decisions.

The Miami Heat have announced that Waiters and Winslow will not travel with the team for their three game road trip – it’ll be continued extra playing time for the likes of Josh Richardson, Tyler Johnson, and James Johnson.

Draymond Green was cleared to play tonight and is expected to resume his normal role as the starting PF. Green will have his hands full tonight guarding Paul Millsap but should still be a viable option in the late slate. The preferred choices are obviously Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson but Green has multi-position eligibility and should come with lower ownership. Still there is some risk and he’s not safe for cash games coming off an ankle injury. Ian Clark will return to his bench role and he’s not viable unless something unpredictable happens.

Marco Belinelli (hamstring) will be available to play tonight
Belinelli was limited to 20 minutes on Saturday due to a hamstring injury. Jeremy Lamb stepped up in a big way and took advantage of his opportunity. With Belinelli and Batum available tonight, expect Lamb to see a limited role compared to Saturday. Batum is the best option out of the three players but gets a tough matchup against the Grizzlies and Tony Allen. Expect all three players to have a lower ceiling the normal with a low team total and overall game total under 200.

Tyler Zeller has been confirmed as the starter in place of Al Horford. Zeller was expected to start but had not been confirmed until this point. Kelly Olynyk will see minutes off the bench and is likely a better candidate as a reserve. Zeller could easily get into foul trouble against Whiteside and this allows for the Celtics to move Amir Johnson over if Zeller gets into foul trouble and keep Olynyk as a stretch 4 off the bench. Olynyk and Zeller are both cheap enough to exceed value but it will likely come down to the foul situation.

Whiteside will play in tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics after being listed as questionable on Miami’s injury report with a knee injury. There has not been any word of a minutes restriction at the time of this writing, so it looks as if Whiteside will be a full go this evening. The Heat will already be without Dion Waiters, Tyler Johnson, and Justise Winslow for this contest, so Miami will certainly need all hands on deck in their backcourt and wing rotation. Wayne Ellington will make make his season debut this evening but will be limited to just 15 minutes in his return. Rodney McGruder will remain in the starting lineup at shooting guard in place of Waiters, while Luke Babbitt will surprisingly take over at small forward in place of Winslow, sending Josh Richardson to the bench. It’s hard to argue against any of the value options on Miami, though Richardson, McGruder, and James Johnson seem to be the top targets outside of Dragic and Whiteside. Speaking of Whiteside, he is now an elite tournament play after carrying the questionable tag all day and being ruled in just a few minutes before lock. He was an elite play going into the day and we should get him at suppressed ownership in the prime matchup against the inept Celtics frontcourt defense that is already without Al Horford.

Batum will play in tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies after missing the Hornets previous game with a corneal abrasion. His return will send Jeremy Lamb back to the bench to resume his reserve role, though he could still play a major factor in Charlotte’s rotation if Belinelli were to be ruled out. This is one of the less appealing games on the slate but Lamb could be worth a look in tournaments if Belinelli is eventually ruled out. However, he should see increased ownership after his monster performance over the weekend, so he may not be worth the chase considering his change in roles.

Celtics coach Brad Stevens told reporters that he is leaning towards starting Zeller at center in place of Horford, but is still ultimately undecided. Kelly Olynyk is really the only other candidate to enter the starting lineup at center, but there is certainly viability and risk in rostering either player, as Stevens’ frontcourt rotation behind Horford can fluctuate at a moments notice. This is a definitely situation to monitor as we approach lock.

Bayless will not play in tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors with a sore left wrist that has hindered him for most of the season. In his absence, Sergio Rodriguez will be reinserted into the starting lineup alongside Gerald Henderson, Robert Covington, Ersan Ilyasova, and Jahlil Okafor. He is a viable punt option in all formats for a depressed price tag and should see 28-32 minutes this evening.

Dragic will play in tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics after missing the Heat’s previous two games with a strained right elbow. The Heat will already be without Dion Waiters and Tyler Johnson for this contest, so Miami will certainly need all hands on deck in their backcourt rotation.
