George Hill

Indiana Pacers
11/07/16, 7:11 PM ET

George Hill (thumb) ruled out tonight

Hill will be inactive for tonight’s game against the Sixers after sustaining a sprain to his thumb in Sunday’s game versus New York. Shelvin Mack will start at point guard and is a certainly viable cash game punt with his dirt cheap price tag around the industry. In Hill’s absence, Derrick Favors, Rodney Hood, and Gordon Hayward will likely see the biggest usage bump in the starting unit and are borderline elite plays in all formats. The one concern for them is the potential blowout, but the Sixers have managed to keep games close with Joel Embiid in the lineup thus far, especially at home.

Marvin Williams

Milwaukee Bucks
11/07/16, 6:39 PM ET

Marvin Williams (illness) starting tonight

Williams will start tonight against Indiana after being listed as questionable with a viral infection earlier in the day. Williams will reportedly not play his normal allotment of minutes, however. This is shaping up as a situation we will want to avoid, as it’s unclear exactly how minutes Williams will be able to play. Frank Kaminsky or Cody Zeller could be worth a look in tournaments in case Williams isn’t feeling well enough to finish the game. Roy Hibbert has already been ruled, so the minutes and opportunity would absolutely be there if that scenario were to play out.

Tiago Splitter

Philadelphia 76ers
11/07/16, 6:30 PM ET

Tiago Splitter and Mike Scott listed as out for Tuesday

Splitter and Scott will remain unavailable to play in tomorrow’s game against Cleveland. In their absence, Mike Muscala will continue to soak up a majority of the backup center minutes and is typically the first man off the bench for Atlanta. Though, Muscala draws a difficult matchup with the Cavaliers frontcourt on Tuesday.

Patrick McCaw

Toronto Raptors
11/07/16, 6:21 PM ET

Patrick McCaw (ankle) probable for Monday

McCaw has missed the previous four games with a sprained ankle, but has been upgraded to probable for tonight’s game against New Orleans. McCaw missed yesterday’s practice due to a personal matter and apparently wasn’t injury related. It seems likely that McCaw will be able to suit up this evening and could be in for extended run in a possible blowout if healthy.

Larry Nance Jr.

Indiana Pacers
11/07/16, 6:27 PM ET

Larry Nance (concussion) ruled out for Tuesday; questionable for Thursday

Nance is currently in the concussion protocol and has already been ruled out for tomorrow night’s game against Dallas. The Lakers are hopeful he will be able to suit for Thursday’s game, but his availability is not yet known, as players need to be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before being cleared from the protocol. Brandon Ingram saw the most minutes at backup power forward after Nance exited the game and could be a viable a option on Tuesday once we receive more clarity on Lakers coach Luke Walton’s rotation plans without Nance.

Wilson Chandler

Brooklyn Nets
11/07/16, 4:48 PM ET

Wilson Chandler (hamstring) questionable for Tuesday

Wilson Chandler was not able to finish last night’s game against the Celtics. It seems it was just precautionary but with a guy that has been known for injuries we should proceed with caution. If Chandler misses the game, we can expect Danilo Gallinari to play 38+ minutes.

Al Horford

Golden State Warriors
11/07/16, 4:46 PM ET

Al Horford (concussion) does not practice Monday; questionable for Wednesday

Al Horford has not played in the last two games due to a concussion. He is not expected to play on Wednesday but could see a change in his status if his situation gets better. Amir Johnson and Tyler Zeller have been playing well in Horford absence. Let’s get confirmation that Horford is out before recommending any players.

Deron Williams

Cleveland Cavaliers
11/07/16, 3:17 PM ET

Deron Williams doubtful for Tuesday's game

The Mavericks starting PG continues to recover from his left calf strain and appears unlikely to play tomorrow after missing the teams game on Saturday. J.J. Barea should get the bulk of the work and will be a viable DFS option on Tuesday.

George Hill

Indiana Pacers
11/07/16, 3:04 PM ET

George Hill questionable for tonight with a thumb injury

He was able to return to the game after injuring it in the team’s last game but he is listed as questionable for tonight as they prepare to face the 76ers as solid 7 point road favorites. Shelvin Mack and Dante Exum would split the PG duties if Hill can’t go and both get a reasonable bump in their value if that were the case. It’s a situation we’ll keep a close eye on heading into tonight and will update you if anything changes.

Kyle Korver

Milwaukee Bucks
11/07/16, 2:39 PM ET

Kyle Korver will miss Tuesday's game for Atlanta

Korver and his wife had a baby boy yesterday and the veteran guard has been given the day off by the team on Tuesday. Tim Hardaway Jr. will be a top value option tomorrow given this news.

Lance Stephenson

Indiana Pacers
11/07/16, 2:37 PM ET

Lance Stephenson waived by Pelicans

After suffering an injury that would keep him out an extended period of time, Lance Stephenson has been waived by the New Orleans Pelicans. This was an anticipated move in order to add Archie Goodwin to the team roster.

Corey Brewer

Sacramento Kings
11/07/16, 12:08 PM ET

Corey Brewer to start for Eric Gordon tonight against Washington

The Rockets want Brewer to match up against John Wall so he’ll get the start tonight. They also want to keep Gordon fresh for the 2nd unit. It should be a slight bump for Brewer who should receive some additional playing time and a slight downgrade in terms of minutes (but probably an increase in usage running with the second unit) for Gordon.

Gary Harris

Detroit Pistons
11/06/16, 8:27 PM ET

Gary Harris will start tonight for Nuggets

Gary Harris made his 2016-17 debut on Saturday against the Pistons but finds his way into the starting lineup tonight with Will Barton still sidelined. Harris played a big role in the Nuggets offense last season, averaging over 12 PPG. Nuggets beat writer, Chris Dempsey also reported that Harris will be on a minutes restriction of 15-20 minutes so he is not worth a look in a tough matchup against the Celtics. Jamal Murray will continue to get minutes at Shooting Guard but has been ineffective so far this season.

Justin Anderson

Indiana Pacers
11/06/16, 8:08 PM ET

Justin Anderson starts in place of Deron Williams; Wesley Matthews will play

Justin Anderson will start in place of Deron Williams (calf) tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks. J.J. Barea and Seth Curry should also see a bump in minutes as Anderson has yet to play more than 20 minutes in a game all season. Barea has the highest upside of all three as the other two are only worth a look as deep GPP fliers.

Jonas Valanciunas

Denver Nuggets
11/06/16, 7:42 PM ET

Jonas Valanciunas (knee) ruled out tonight

Valanciunas has been ruled out of tonight’s game against Sacramento with swelling in his left knee from a contusion he suffered earlier in the week. Jakob Poeltl will start at center in his place, and Lucas Nogueira is the only other center on the active roster. This means that we should see DeMarre Carroll slide over to power forward position more often, which is always a boost to the fantasy value of a small forward, as they have more opportunities to gather rebounds and other peripheral stats. Poeltl could possibly be used as a tournament dart throw, but there are better value plays at center on this slate, even for large field tournaments.
