Derrick Favors status for tonight uncertain
Favors did not take part in the team shoot around this morning and was unavailable to the media putting his status for tonight’s game up in the air. Consider him questionable (leaning more towards doubtful) for now – Trey Lyles would likely get the start in his place and would be a top option if that were the case as he has fantasy point per minute stuff as evidenced by his 85.5 FanDuel fpts in 84 minutes over the teams past four games. We’ll update you on Favors when we learn more.

Nerlens Noel and Richaun Holmes OUT tonight for 76ers; Jerami Grant to play on minutes restriction
Noel and Holmes have missed some time of late so their being out doesn’t impact the 76ers current rotation much – Carl Landry should continue to see run and is a decent mid-range option at PF. Grant will be on a minutes limitation removing him from DFS consideration.

Pachulia will be needed to deal with Pistons big man Andre Drummond according to Mavericks Head Coach Rick Carlisle and as such will return to the starting lineup in place of Dwight Powell (who had started the last two games). Pachulia’s price has free-fallen to $3.6K on FanDuel and $3.3K on DraftKings and he makes for an interesting, albeit risky, option at the center position tonight, especially if he can top 20 minutes of playing time as a starter. Powell’s value takes an obvious hit.

Bayless looks as if he will miss the Bucks game tonight against the Magic and his replacement in the starting lineup, Tyler Ennis, is also listed as questionable. Ennis is an excellent value option at PG if he is able to play as he is near minimum price and showed upside putting up 31.8 FanDuel fpts just two games ago. If he can’t go look for Greivis Vasquez and Rashad Vaughn to split time with Vaughn being the preferred target of the two after playing 20+ minutes the teams last two games.

Lin practiced yesterday but remains questionable for the Hornets tonight. Jeremy Lamb is probably the biggest beneficiary if he sits and is a decent, but not great, value option at SG if Lin does sit. Lamb put up 21.4 FanDuel fpts in 20 minutes his last game out but his minutes rarely top 20, even when Lin sits. We’ll update you on Lin’s status later today.

Williams injury continues to linger and Mavericks Head Coach Rick Carlisle stated he is doubtful to play tonight when they take on the Detroit Pistons. J.J. Barea, Raymond Felton, and Devin Harris will continue to split time between the two guard spots and Barea is the best play of the three as he has put up 30 or more FanDuel fpts in three of his last four games including a combined 79.2 in his last two. At $5.3k on both sites, that’s production we love. The other two have flashed signs of DFS relevance but are largely inconsistent and hard to trust. We’ll update you on Williams’ status if anything changes before tip-off tonight.

Jae Crowder will return to the starting lineup after missing eight games. Crowder will not have his minutes restricted against the Blazers. Crowder is a nice tournament option that has multiple 40+ fpts games this season. Evan Turner will go back to the bench with Crowder returning.

Clippers starters: Crawford, Rivers, Johnson, Mbah a Moute, and Aldrich
Jamal Crawford will be replacing Chris Paul while Austin Rivers replaces J.J. Redick in the backcourt. Cole Aldrich will be replacing DeAndre Jordan. Jamal Crawford is the best value play against the Thunder and has great tournament upside. Austin Rivers will likely still have low ownership due to most user gravitating towards Crawford and Aldrich, making him a viable option as well.

No Thunder players will be resting against the Clippers on Thursday. The Clippers will be playing without Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, and DeAndre Jordan. This game could be over quick so it’s possible that the Thunder starters do not play their full minutes.

DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended and is unlikely to play on Saturday as well. Kosta Koufos will likely start in his place on against the Heat. If Koufos can stay out of foul trouble, he has a legitimate shot to exceed value. Willie Cauley-Stein also sees a bump in value with Cousins out fhe lineup.

Derrick Favors injured his ankle and knee against the Warriors on Wednesday. Favors is listed as questionable for Friday’s game against Timberwolves. Trey Lyles will likely start if Favors ends up missing the game. Look for an update regarding Favors status tomorrow.

Rajon Rondo is dealing with multiple injuries but is probable for Friday. Rondo was able to put up 41.8 fpts before being ejected on Wednesday. Cousins is expected to be out of the lineup so Rondo will likely have to take on more of a scoring role. Rondo scored a season-high 25 points when Cousins missed last week with a knee injury. Rondo is in a tough spot with Heat coming to town. Marco Belinelli is doubtful with a foot injury, he did not play in the last game.

Norris Cole’s sore back has not healed enough and he is not expected to play. Toney Douglas will continue to start in his place and makes for a nice tournament option. Douglas has scored 25+ fpts in nine out of his last ten starts. Tim Frazier will be used as the backup and he is averaging 25.97 fpts in his last eight games.

Looks like Jae Crowder is likely to return to the starting lineup after missing eight games due to an ankle injury. Crowder’s asking price has dropped considerably, making him a nice tournament option. Crowder is priced for upside but does come with risk due to the ankle issue. Evan Turner will likely go back to the bench.

Jordan Hamilton will be making his second consecutive start for the Pelicans. Hamilton had 27.8 DKFP in 31 minutes against the Spurs last night. Hamilton is an elite punt option against the Nuggets on Thursday. Toney Douglas, Luke Babbitt, Dante Cunningham, and Omer Asik round out the starting five.
