Mirza Teletovic questionable for tonight

Teletovic is dealing with an illness and is questionable to play tonight against the Bucks. The Suns bigs will be best left alone if both Teletovic and Tyson Chandler suit up, but if one or both sit, Jon Leuer would become a much more intriguing play. If both end up sitting out, he’ll be right back in the cash game discussion. Teletovic has been a busy man over the past three games, attempting at least 16 FGs in all three, so he’d be a viable tournament play even if Chandler does suit up.

Justise Winslow to be a GTD tonight

Winslow missed today’s shootaround and is considered a game-time decision tonight against the Lakers. He wasn’t listed on the Heat’s injury report yesterday which seems to indicate he’s closer to probable than questionable, but we’ll continue to update this situation as news unfolds. Winslow has played at least 30 minutes in each of the past nine games, making him a viable GPP target given the opponent. If he’s unable to go, Josh Richardson and Joe Johnson would figure to see bumps in playing time, with Luol Deng possibly seeing more time at the SF spot.

Goran Dragic

Milwaukee Bucks
3/30/16, 3:36 PM ET

Goran Dragic (illness) expected to play on Wednesday

Dragic is expected to return to the lineup after missing Monday’s game against the Nets. Josh Richardson took advantage of Dragic’s absence by posting 30+ FPs in a rare start, but he’ll go back to a bench role tonight and therefore becomes a GPP-only option. Dragic is a nice upside target against a Lakers defense that has struggled with PGs all season long (30th vs. PGs on the season, 21st over the last three weeks), although the double-digit spread (Miami -11) does add some risk. Expect Dragic to take on his normal minutes load tonight assuming this game stays competitive.

Kobe Bryant

Los Angeles Lakers
3/30/16, 2:12 PM ET

Kobe Bryant plans to play tonight

Kobe is expected to take the floor tonight against the Heat. He’s played in each of the past five games after playing sporadically in early March, so we can probably pencil him in for 23-30 minutes against Dwyane Wade and Co. Bryant’s presence does make it much harder to target any of the Lakers other guards, and the tough match-up with Miami makes the Lakers a team to avoid for DFS purposes. On another note, Nick Young is available to play tonight, but he’s been a DNP-CD in recent games where he was healthy.

Dwight Powell

Dallas Mavericks
3/30/16, 12:50 PM ET

Justin Anderson and Dwight Powell to start for Mavericks tonight

Powell and Anderson will make their second straight start for the Mavericks tonight when they play the Knicks. Anderson has topped 20+ FanDuel fpts in two of his last three games in just over 20 minutes of playing time each game and is a viable SF punt option at or near minimum salary. Powell’s price has risen a bit but he’s still in play going against a Porzingis-less Knicks team after putting up 30 FD fpts his last start in 29 minutes of play.

Deron Williams

Cleveland Cavaliers
3/30/16, 12:29 PM ET

Deron Williams officially OUT tonight for Mavericks

Updating our previous report where Williams was listed as doubtful – he’s no been ruled out by the team for their game tonight against the Knicks. J.J. Barea, Raymond Felton, and Devin Harris will all continue to split time at the PG and SG positions and all three are viable GPP plays going against a Knicks team that is 20th in PG DvP and 16th in SG DvP. Barea’s price has risen to $5k on both sites but he’s put up 30+ fpts in two of his last three games so it’s not a price that puts him out of play. Felton is the same price ($5k) on FanDuel and is a PG there making Barea the preferred target there but on DraftKings he’s a bit cheaper ($4.6K) and SG eligible which puts him play there. Devin Harris might actually be the best option of the three at a much cheaper price ($3.9k on FD at PG, $3.2K on DK at SG) and has put up 25+ fpts in each of his last two games.

Jusuf Nurkic out tonight for Nuggets due to illness

Nurkic is still battling an illness and will miss his second straight game tonight when the Nuggets take on the Memphis Grizzlies. Nikola Jokic and Joffrey Lauvergne both see an uptick in minutes as a result and both are secondary options against a depleted Grizzlies squad. Lauvergne is near minimum price and has put up 15+ FanDuel fantasy points in each of his last three games but rarely sees much over 20 minutes of playing time while Jokic is extremely inconsistent as evidenced by just 35 fpts his last two games after having topped 30 in three of the seven games before that.

Zach Randolph

Zach Randolph takes part in shoot around; hopes to play tonight

Randolph took part in the team shoot around this morning and stated that he hopes to play tonight when the Grizzlies take on the Denver Nuggets. If he does play he’s an interesting GPP target as he’s topped 37+ DraftKings fpts each of his last three games including a monster 60 point outing. While we can’t expect that kind of production, he should be good to go for at least 30+ against a Nuggets team that is traditionally soft against opposing bigs. We’ll update you on Randolph’s status as we learn more later today. JaMychal Green is the Memphis player most impacted by Randolph’s playing or not – he’d be out of play if Randolph does go.

Kristaps Porzingis doubtful for tonight's game against Mavericks

The Knicks say that their star rookie forward is doubtful for tonight’s game with a sore right shoulder. Derrick Williams will likely get the start in his place and immediately becomes one of the top value options on the slate. Williams has performed extremely well when given playing time – the last four games that he has topped 20 minutes he has averaged over a fantasy point per minute each time. At minimum price on FanDuel and near minimum on DraftKings, he’s in consideration for both cash games and GPP’s, especially if we get word that he is starting. Kevin Seraphin should also receive a boost in playing time as a result. We’ll update you on both Porzingis and Williams status throughout the day as we learn more.

Kyle Lowry

3/30/16, 11:20 AM ET

Kyle Lowry's status for Raptors tonight uncertain; Terrence Ross expected to play

Lowry was on the court for the team shootaround this morning but did not participate – his status is uncertain for tonight. If he can’t go, Cory Joseph would be a top value option at the PG position despite a tough match up against the Hawks. Terrence Ross is expected to play tonight and while he’s a safe play at his low price having scored at least 17 FanDuel fpts in five straight games, his upside is extremely limited having not topped 20 fpts in any of those five games. Norman Powell had performed excellent with Ross out with 20+ fpts in three straight games but his value is diminished with Ross returning to action. We’ll update you on Lowry’s status as soon as we hear more.

Deron Williams doubtful for Mavericks tonight

Williams looks as if he will miss another game as he is listed doubtful by the team for their game against the New York Knicks. Devin Harris might actually be the best option of the three at a much cheaper price ($3.9k on FD at PG, $3.2K on DK at SG) and has put up 25+ fpts in each of his last two games. If anything changes regarding Williams status tonight we’ll let you know as soon as we hear of it.

Markieff Morris

Los Angeles Lakers
3/30/16, 11:22 AM ET

Markieff Morris (calf) confirmed as the starter on Tuesday

Markieff Morris missed Sunday’s game due to a calf injury but will be starting against the Warriors. Morris is only $5,000 on DraftKings, leaving him with considerable upside in a high-scoring game. Morris was averaging 31.7 fpts before the game that he got injured, making him a viable tournament option. Nene will go back to the bench.

Greivis Vasquez listed as doubtful for Wednesday

Greivis Vasquez has not played since late November due to an ankle injury. Vasquez was able to practice but has not been cleared for game action. The Bucks have listed him as doubtful as opposed to being officially out. Vasquez is not a DFS option and his return will not have much of an impact.
