Kenneth Faried (back) available to play on Friday
Kenneth Faried is available to play against the Lakers. If Faried is confirmed the starter, Darrell Arthur would lose a ton of value. Faried would be a nice option for the late slate. He should only be used in GPPs. Faried will be low-owned in the all day slate but could be chalky for the late slate.

Ronnie Price (illness) will play
Ronnie Price will be active on Friday but will likely be limited. Price was not a DFS option and his return could hurt Archie Goodwin. Price is only DFS relevant if Knight is hurt.

David Lee will replace Dirk Nowitzki in the starting lineup on Friday, against his former team. David Lee is projected to have a good game but should still be considered a GPP play only. Lee will likely play over 28 minutes if the Mavs can keep it close.

Jordan Farmar will replace Ray McCallum in the starting lineup on Friday. Farmar gets a tough matchup against the Spurs and is near minimum salaried option. Expect Farmar to play 20-28 minutes, making it possible that he can return value. JaMychal Green will be in the starting lineup for Zach Randolph. Green is a viable option now that his salary has dropped.

Marco Belinelli is likely to play against the Suns. Belinelli is averaging 19.26 fantasy points on DraftKings over his last three games. Belinelli’s near minimum salary puts him into consideration, but he would need over 24 minutes to exceed value. Belinelli has not started a game since early February.

Luol Deng will play against the Magic on Friday. Deng was slumping in the two games (12.3 & 14.8 DFKP) prior to his injury but is still averaging 32.68 DKFP in his last eight games. Deng should not be a heavily owned player, making him a nice GPP option. With his asking price down $700 since Saturday, Deng is priced for upside. Josh McRoberts will go back to the bench.

Kevin Martin will replace Danny Green while Kyle Anderson replaces Kawhi Leonard in the starting lineup. Both players are minimum salaried players, so they should have some upside in this matchup. The Spurs are still double-digit favorites in a game that is projected to be low-scoring. Don’t have huge expectations of Anderson, but Martin might try to use this as an opportunity to make a name for himself on his new team.

Mario Hezonja has been confirmed as the starter against the Magic. Hezonja is a risky tournament option with Evan Fournier and Elfrid Payton more likely to pick up the usage with Oladipo out. Payton is coming off a triple-double while Fournier has been cold over his last three games. With the Magic underdogs by 11 points, it’ll be tough to strong recommend any Magic player.

Both Kyle Lowry and Patrick Patterson will play tonight, while Terrence Ross will sit out due to a sore left thumb. Lowry is an elite option against the Rockets, but it’s worth noting that he’s had his struggles against Houston over the past two years and will see a ton of Patrick Beverley (Beverley has been playing huge minutes since Ty Lawson departed). Patterson isn’t a DFS option on a full slate; Lowry and DeRozan are the only real DFS options on the Toronto side. Norman Powell and James Johnson should eat up the playing time left by Ross.

Avery Bradley is dealing with an illness and is questionable to take the court Sunday against the Suns. If he’s unable to go, it’s likely that Marcus Smart will end up starting at SG alongside Isaiah Thomas, which would make Smart one of the better mid-range plays at PG. Smart would seemingly push for between 32-35 minutes given how many minutes Bradley typically plays. Evan Turner would also seemingly be a candidate to see a slight uptick in minutes, as would Terry Rozier off the bench. We’ll update Bradley’s status again tomorrow.

Scott Skiles thinks that Victor Oladipo will not play against the Heat on Friday. Mario Hezonja is expected to start in his place. Hezonja is averaging 21.57 DKFP in four career starts, and makes for a viable punt option. Hezonja will likely be tasked with guarding Dwyane Wade, forcing him to focus more defensively. Look for Evan Fournier to take advantage of the opportunity.

Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Boris Diaw, and Patty Mills are all out for the Spurs as they take on the equally banged up Memphis Grizzlies. LaMarcus Aldridge is in a great spot as he will see an increase in usage as well as a match-up with Jarell Martin and JaMychal Green. Neither Martin nor Green pose a threat to stopping Aldridge and he should be able to have his way in the paint and be able to stretch them out and knock down some jumpers. Our RotoGrinders’ CourtIQ tool shows that over the last month Aldridge’s usage jumps from 24% to 29% with Kawhi Leonard out, as well as a bump from 1.05 fantasy points per minute to 1.24fppm. This game does have a 13.5-point spread so Aldridge could be resting by the fourth quarter, but he has immense upside in this match-up especially it stays close.

Marvin Williams (ankle) will play on Friday
Marvin Williams was probable to play against the Pistons on Friday. He will likely resume his starting position, sending frank Kaminsky back to the bench. Williams is averaging 31.5 in two previous meetings with the Pistons this season. In both games the Hornets were able to blow them out, causing Williams to play less than 30 minutes. With the Pistons fighting for the eighth seed in the East, expect them to be competitive in this game. With Williams asking price only $5,500 on DK, he is an option with upside.

Pau Gasol missed Thursday’s second leg of a back-to-back against the Knicks. Gasol remains questionable for Saturday’s contest with the Magic due to a sore knee. Cristiano Felicio started in his place and played 21 minutes. Felicio did not exceed value and is a very risky play if Gasol sits again. Look for an update regarding Gasol’s status tomorrow.

DeMar DeRozan has been on a bit of a cold streak lately, but he has the perfect opportunity to break out of it vs. the Rockets. The Rockets are 23rd in DvP vs. opposing SGs, and James Harden has been well-documented for his lack of defense. DeRozan is a streaky shooter, but it also helps that Kyle Lowry missed Wednesday’s game vs. the Celtics and is still a bit banged up. He is slated to play vs. the Rockets but it is difficult to tell if he is truly 100%. If DeRozan gets rolling early in this up-tempo game, he could finally break out of this shooting slump.
