Rajon Rondo confirmed as the starter tonight

Rajon Rondo was questionable for Wednesday’s contest with the Timberwolves due to multiple injuries. He has been confirmed as the starter and should be considered a strong tournament option with DeMarcus Cousins out of the lineup. Rondo has been struggling and has not exceeded value since mid-February. Rondo’s asking price has fallen significantly, so he is priced for upside.

Josh McRoberts to start for Luol Deng

Josh McRoberts will start for the injured Luol Deng against the Spurs. McRoberts is a risky option on a twelve-game slate and should only be considered a low-end option for the small slate today. Luol Deng hopes to return on Friday against the Magic.

Nerlens Noel is a game-time decision; Carl Landry will start in his place if he misses

Nerlens Noel is a game-time decision against the Nuggets on Wednesday. If Noel misses the game, Carl Landry will start in his place. Landry is a strong tournament option and plays well when given 24+ minutes. Landry is averaging 29.68 DKFP in six games that he plays over 24 minutes this season.

Jonas Valanciunas

Denver Nuggets
3/23/16, 8:05 PM ET

Jonas Valanciunas and Cory Joseph starting

Jonas Valanciunas will return to the starting lineup after missing four games with a sore hand. Valanciunas will be a low-owned option and is averaging 27.45 DKFP against the Celtics in two games. With Lowry out of the lineup, Valanciunas is expected to see a bump in usage. Cory Joseph will replace Lowry in the starting lineup but is a risky tournament option against the Celtics.

Kyle Lowry (elbow) is active but unlikely to play; Jonas Valanciunas is available

Kyle Lowry is active but not expected to play against the Celtics. With Lowry expected out of the lineup, Cory Joseph will likely pick up the start. Joseph is a viable punt option but faces a Celtics team that is ranked 1st in DvP against point guards. DeMar DeRozan is the strong play with Lowry out of the lineup. Jonas Valanciunas is available and expected to start but it has yet to be confirmed. We will update once it is official.

Kevin Love

Utah Jazz
3/23/16, 7:44 PM ET

Kevin Love (illness) confirmed as the starter; Channing Frye will come off the bench

Kevin Love has been confirmed as the starter after missing one game due to an illness. Channing Frye will return to the bench but has played well even in a reserve role. Love should be low-owned and gets a nice matchup with the Bucks. Love does have tournament appeal due to the fact his asking price has not been lower than this at any point of the season.

Patrick Patterson

Portland Trail Blazers
3/23/16, 7:34 PM ET

Patrick Patterson ruled out; James Johnson will return to the lineup

Patrick Patterson has been officially ruled out of the game against the Celtics. Jason Thompson will likely take over his role again and should be considered a viable punt option. Thompson has played 24+ minutes in consecutive games, averaging 21.5 DKFP. Thompson should be able to hit value against a weak Celtics interior.

Tyson Chandler

Houston Rockets
3/23/16, 7:15 PM ET

Tyson Chandler (back) ruled out for Wednesday

Tyson Chandler will not play against the Lakers on Wednesday with a sore back. Alex Len will likely move over to his natural center position and Jon Leuer is expected to start at power forward. Both players are viable GPP targets at home. The Lakers are playing on the second night of a back-to-back.

Kosta Koufos

Sacramento Kings
3/23/16, 6:53 PM ET

Kosta Koufos will start for DeMarcus Cousins against the Timberwolves

Kosta Koufos has been confirmed as the starter for the injured DeMarcus Cousins. Koufos is a viable punt play due to his minimum salary on both major sites. Willie Cauley-Stein is still dealing with an illness but is expected to play a lot of minutes as well. Both players are viable plays because Koufos could get into foul trouble guarding Karl-Anthony Towns.

Pau Gasol

Portland Trail Blazers
2/14/17, 2:10 PM ET

Pau Gasol scheduled to play around 24 minutes on Wednesday

Pau Gasol is expected to play 24 minutes again on Wednesday. Gasol played 24 minutes Monday against the Kings and scored 45.5 DKFP. The minutes restriction puts Gasol out of cash game consideration, making Taj Gibson a better play due to the fact he is expected to play 30+ minutes. Gibson has exceeded value in his last two outings, but remains a tournament option due to his low floor.

San Antonio Spurs
3/23/16, 5:58 PM ET

Darrun Hilliard to start for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on Wednesday

Darrun Hilliard will start against the Magic on Wednesday because Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is out with an illness. Since KCP is expected to only be out for one game, Stan Van Gundy wanted to keep Stanley Johnson in his normal role. Johnson is now a strict tournament option with Hilliard seeing a slight bump in value as a starter.
