O.J. Mayo GTD, Jerryd Bayless (ankle) out
Jerryd Bayless will miss another game due to his ankle injury. Mayo is dealing with a hamstring injury and is still a GTD. If both Mayo and Bayless miss, Michael Carter-Williams would be an elite option against the Bulls. If Mayo ends up playing, MCW would lose some minutes to him.

Mike Conley and Matt Barnes ruled out, Courtney Lee will return
The Grizzlies have ruled out Mike Conley due to his Achilles injury and Matt Barnes due to a thumb injury. Courtney Lee will be returning to the starting lineup tonight at SG. Mario Chalmers will likely continue to start in Conley’s place. The replacement starter has not been named yet for Barnes, but we would like to think Tony Allen will continue to start after playing so well in Lee’s absence.

Brandon Knight has been ruled out tonight and Archine Goodwin will start in his place. Goodwin is a minimum salary player so he will likely be heavily owned now. This game has the makings of a blowout, so there is a chance many low-end Suns players will get a chance to exceed salary in garbage time. The Pacers are coming off an overtime loss to the Rockets where they led by as many as 13 points in the 4th quarter. Look for them to come out and set the tone against a reeling Suns squad.

The Spurs will not be resting anybody on the second half of a back-to-back tonight against the Pistons. They didn’t have to put forth a ton of effort last night since the game against Brooklyn was out of hand early, so Pop will roll out his regular rotation tonight. Kawhi Leonard is the top play on the San Antonio side, with LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker being decent contrarian GPP options.

Brandon Knight is questionable to doubtful on Tuesday
Brandon Knight seems to be out with an illness tonight but is still a game-time decision. If Knight were to miss the game, Archie Goodwin would get the start due to Ronnie Price (toe) also being out. Goodwin is a minimum salary player on DK and could see a season-high in minutes tonight. Goodwin is in a tough spot due to the solid defense of George Hill, but since his salary is so low, it won’t take much for him to exceed value.

Sefolosha will look to make his return after a one-game absence. Sefolosha has not been playing well lately and is averaging about 22 minutes a game in January. Sefolosha is a risky play on Wednesday’s 10 game slate. His return does bring Kent Bazemore’s ceiling down slightly against the Hornets.

Mo Williams has been ruled out for tonight’s contest again the Mavs. With Williams out, look for Matthew Dellavedova to receive over 25 minutes tonight. Dellavedova is still low-end option due to the heavy minutes Kyrie Irving plays. Dellavedova’s ceiling is capped at about 20 FPs on DK but his salary has been significantly reduced, making him a discount option.

The Pelicans play the Lakers tonight in a battle of two of the worst defensive teams in the league, and we have seen both have points in time where they have a fast pace as well. This should be music to our ears as DFSers and while it may be a battle of two of the worst teams in the league, it is certainly one to target tonight. Anthony Davis has missed the last two games with a back injury and is questionable to play tonight. Even if Davis plays, Jrue Holiday is still a great option at PG, but if Davis doesn’t play then Holiday becomes especially enticing. The last two games that Davis hasn’t played Holiday has gone for 32 and 55.25 points respectively and has been performing really well since his minutes restriction has been lifted. With the horrific defense the Lakers play against opposing PGs, Holiday is a great play either way, but would be an even better option if Davis is ruled out.
Hassan White (knee) listed as questionable for Wednesday
Hassan Whiteside missed the Heat’s previous game his knee injury and is questionable Wednesday against the Clippers. With Whiteside absent the Heat started Justise Winslow for the first time this season. If Whiteside misses again there is a chance they start Winslow due to small lineup the Clippers use as well. Winslow only received 25 minutes in his start, with Gerald Green receiving 33, and Tyler Johnson playing 27. Look for the time share to continue Wednesday.

The Knicks are matched up against the Celtics tonight in what should be an extremely up-tempo game for the Knicks. The Celtics play with the second fastest pace in the league while the Knicks play with the sixth slowest, so we can hopefully expect to see a little bump in production from the Knicks players. Lopez has been playing a little more consistently as of late and plays between 30-35 minutes a game and will have plenty of opportunity tonight against a bad Celtics frontcourt. We like to pick on their frontcourt because they seemingly cannot guard anyone in the post and while Lopez isn’t the most skilled center in the league, he should be able to hopefully reach value and be a low-owned option tonight.
Ty Lawson to return on Wednesday
Ty Lawson is set to return after serving his three-game suspension. Lawson has been playing better as of late, averaging 19.62 FPs on DK over his last 6 games. Lawson is a GPP filler that allows for more high-end players to fit on the roster. Patrick Beverley had 35.75 FPs in his last outing but could be in for a regression after playing 39 minutes in an overtime contest. Look for Beverley to get about 27-30 minutes with Lawson picking up the rest.

Jameer Nelson is set to return on Wednesday, and with Emmanuel Mudiay now healthy, Nuggets coach Mike Malone has said he’s still not sure who will draw the start. We should have more information either after tomorrow’s shootaround or before tip-off.

While Jordan is listed as questionable with an illness, it seems unlikely that he’d sit considering he’s played the last 360 games since sitting out due to injury. We’d consider him closer to probable, but if he can’t go, Cole Aldrich would likely draw the start and he’d actually be a nice DFS asset if that were to be the case. We’ll update Jordan’s status after tomorrow’s shootaround.

Kenneth Faried will play Wednesday against the Warriors after practicing Tuesday. Faried’s presence takes Darrell Arthur out of play, but it shouldn’t affect Danilo Gallinari’s minutes or production. Both players (Faried and Gallo) could be sneaky targets tomorrow if the Warriors decide to rest some players, which seems very likely.

Nelson practiced today and should be good to go for tomorrow night against the Warriors. With Emmanuel Mudiay back, Nelson isn’t a DFS option, but Nelson’s presence does slightly downgrade Mudiay’s upside. Mudiay played 39 minutes in his first game back, so he doesn’t appear to be limited at all.
