Leandro Barbosa upgraded to questionable for tonight's game
Barbosa has been upgraded to questionable for tonight’s game but is still not a viable DFS option tonight if he does play. Ian Clark and Shaun Livingston could get extended burn tonight if the game ends up in a blowout that Vegas projects. Both players are GPP plays only and can help you differentiate on such a short slate. Harrison Barnes also is a decent play and may continue to work his way back from injury, using the blowout as an extended practice.

Jeff Teague probable for Wednesday
Teague is dealing with an ankle injury that has been lingering for most of the season. He is going through his rehab and looks set to play against the Hornets. Teague is a low-end DFS play on a ten game slate on Wednesday. Look for Dennis Schroder to get significant run but he also is tough to recommend against a good defensive team in the Hornets. It is best to skip over Atlanta’s PG situation on Wednesday’s large slate.

Forward Omri Casspi is likely back in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Pelicans. This will be the second night of a back-to-back against for the Pelicans, so Casspi will be projected to be an elite DFS play if Anthony Davis sits again. Casspi was playing well before his injury so his return will likely cause Rudy Gay’s value to take a hit.

Bryant is being listed as questionable for now with a sore Achilles. Coach Byron Scott said he’s “not too concerned” about Kobe’s right Achilles. Byron said neither is Kobe. Bryant would only make for an under-owned late slate play as the Lakers host the Pelicans on the last game of the night on Tuesday. D’Angelo Russell missed the previous game with his ankle injury but looks ready to return on Tuesday. Brandon Bass missed with an eye injury and also looks ready to return. Russell will also be an under-owned option but does not provide as much upside coming off the first injury of his professional career.

Anthony Davis is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers. If he’s unable to go, Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday will be very strong targets against a poor Lakers defense. Davis himself would be a nice upside target if he’s able to take the court. Dante Cunningham would also see a minutes bump with Davis out of the lineup.

Hassan Whiteside, Dwyane Wade and Tyler Johnson all GTDs for tonight
Hassan Whiteside, Dwyane Wade and Tyler Johnson are all game-time decisions for tonight. This is a tricky situation to decipher, but based on reports it seems like Wade is the most likely of the group to suit up while Whiteside seems a little more likely to sit. Wade is a viable GPP target on a short slate, and he’d actually have a nice ceiling if the Heat are able to keep this game close. Gerald Green’s value would rise if Tyler Johnson is unable to go, and Chris Andersen would likely start if Hassan Whiteside can’t play. We’ll provide updates as the day moves along.

Conley’s absence has led to huge playing time for Mario Chalmers, and that will continue tomorrow unless Conley is able to return. He’s listed as questionable and given that he was in a walking boot in recent days, it’s still fairly likely he sits. Chalmers would be among the top value plays of the slate if Conley can’t go. Courtney Lee says he’ll definitely play on Tuesday, which will eat into the playing time of Tony Allen, who has been playing big minutes with Lee out of the lineup.

James McAdoo will not play on Monday against the Heat. He hasn’t played in the last five games and his absence doesn’t lead to any noteworthy bumps in DFS value for other front-court members. Leandro Barbosa has been upgraded to questionable for tonight’s game, but his presence doesn’t offer much in the way of DFS relevance either.

The Suns have decided to give Alex Len a day off to rest his left hand that he sprained a couple of weeks ago. He’ll miss the teams game on Tuesday which should mean Tyson Chandler and Jon Leuer should get all the minutes they can handle in his absence.

Marcin Gortat and Nene Hilario questionable
Gortat hurt his knee in the last game and is experiencing heavy swelling. He stated that he’ll see how he feels tonight but admitted there’s a good chance he won’t play. Nene Hilario is also questionable but will try to play. If Gortat can’t go, it’s a huge hit for the Wizards (and helps Pau Gasol/Joakim Noah as Gortat is a tough post defender) and the aforementioned Nene and Drew Gooden would benefit the most in terms of extra minutes. We’ll update you on Gortat’s status throughout the day as we learn more.

Marcus Morris was held out of practice today due to left knee tendinitis but Pistons Head Coach Stan Van Gundy is hopeful his forward will be able to play tomorrow. We’ll update you more then as his status becomes more clear.

After missing the last nine games, Joakim Noah will play tonight with no minutes restriction according to Bulls Head Coach Fred Hoiberg. He did add that they would be cautious. This impacts negatively the DFS value of Taj Gibson and Bobby Portis as Noah playing will cut into their minutes. Noah himself isn’t in play but with it being a three game slate Mirotic and Gibson still have to be considered in GPP’s.

Hood will play and start Sunday after missing the last game with an ankle injury. Hood is a GPP play only; he has been inconsistent all season. With Hood back, this hurts the value of Chris Johnson.

Derrick Favors out Sunday
Favors will miss his tenth straight game with a back injury. With Rudy Gobert also back in the mix this hurts the value of Jeff Withey. With Favors out of the lineup, Trey Lyles has gotten more minutes than Trevor Booker. Over his last two games Lyles is averaging 24 FD points in 33 minutes. He is still a GPP punt play, because he has been inconsistent all season.

After being questionable earlier in the day Davis will play tonight. This doesn’t have a big fantasy impact. If Davis were to miss the game it would have given extra minutes to both Mason Plumlee and Meyers Leonard. Davis usually produces when he plays, but his minutes aren’t consistent enough.
