Trey Lyles starting Saturday, Trevor Booker available off the bench
Booker will not start tonight’s game against the Pacers, but will be available off the bench. Who knows if he will even play, he’s battling an illness. Starting in his place will be Trey Lyles. He is minimum price on both sites, but he is a GPP punt play only. He has hardly played this season. The Jazz are already without Rudy Gobert. This news only means a heavier workload for Derrick Favors.

David Lee will not play Saturday
Lee has been DFS irrelevant all season, but this may open more minutes up for Kelly Olynyk. He is coming off his best game of the season, in which he had 30 FD points in 25 minutes. He is only a GPP punt play as you can never trust the Celtics frontcourt.

Casspi will get the start for the Kings on Saturday night against the Rockets. Casspi makes for an excellent punt play at SF. He is just $4,200 on FD and $4,700 on DK. He has scored in double figures in his last four games, and has had at least five rebounds in those games. The Kings-Rockets game is projected to be the highest scoring game of the night.

Mirotic passed the concussion test and will start tonight against the Hornets. Mirotic is only a GPP play as he has been inconsistent all season. His last game against the Spurs he had 15 FD points and the game before that he had 36 FD points against the Pacers. It has been like that all season for Mirotic up and down. With him playing this hurts the value of Joakim Noah.

Tim Duncan is old and everyone knows that, but he is still consistently producing. His style of play does not rely on athleticism and there is a reason they call him “Mr. Fundamental” and that has allowed him to still put up double-doubles or close in 5 of the last 10 games. Duncan is often ignored by many in DFS because of his age and the fact that he is not that flashy, but the fact is he is still averaging 30FPPG over the course of the year and has been playing increasingly well as of late. Duncan isn’t one to go out and drop 50FP consistently (however he has done that a few times this year), but he does have a fairly high floor and a pretty high ceiling at his price point. He has a good matchup today vs. a Boston backcourt that doesn’t really boast a big defensive presence in the backcourt and they play at the 5th highest pace in the league. It should be a comparatively high tempo game today for the Spurs as they have an implied team total today of 100 points, so look for Duncan to be low-owned tonight with potentially another shot at a double-double.
Bucks Starters: Mayo, Middleton, Giannis, Parker and Monroe
With Tyler Ennis, Greivis Vasquez and Jerryd Bayless out on Saturday, O.J. Mayo will start at point guard not MCW. He makes for a great play on FD for $3,700 were he is listed as a SG. He is $4,400 on DK, but he still makes for a great play. MCW can be ignored for your cash games, as his minutes are unknown. Of the rest of the starters, Greg Monore is the only other safe play.

With James out Saturday, Richard Jefferson will start in his place. Jefferson is a GPP punt play only. In his last 50 minutes of game action, he has just five points. The players that will benefit from James being out are Kevin Love and J.R. Smith.

Rudy Gobert has a sprained MCL and will be out for the next few weeks. Last game vs. the Magic the Jazz started Neto, Hood, Hayward, Booker, and Favors. I don’t think anyone is really sure why Neto starts because he only plays 17MPG, and while Burks comes off of the bench he plays 28MPG and is an offensive threat while he is in the game. When Gobert is off the court, Burks has actually played the most minutes of any of the Jazz players and averages 0.91 points per minute. If he plays around 30 minutes like he did last game that puts him on track to at least hit value, and possibly even more considering the fast pace that the Indiana Pacers play at. Look for Burks to be a great cash game play and likely an underowned GPP play as well.
LeBron James out Saturday
James will not play on Saturday night as the Cavs are resting him on the back-to-back. We will have to wait and see who the Cavs will start tonight. It will likely be Richard Jefferson, but he is DFS irrelevant. The two players that benefit most from James not playing are Kevin Love and J.R. Smith.

Motiejunas will play his 1st game of the season on Saturday Night game. He hasn’t played all season because of a back injury. He can be avoided for your DFS lineups, as he will only play limited minutes. This may hurt the minutes of Clint Capela and Terrence Jones a little bit.
As reported by: Craig Ackerman Gorgui Dieng solid GPP or cash play tonight
Gorgui Dieng has been on fire in the last 3 weeks with at least 23 FP in 6 of his last 7 games including a 38 point performance vs. Atlanta. At only $4,500 Dieng has been consistently playing 25-30 minutes over the last couple of weeks and we will likely see his salary increase here in the near future. With the second biggest over/under of the day at 203 and the Timberwolves owning the third highest implied total today, Dieng is in a spot for another big game tonight. Take advantage of this low salary while you can in a good matchup vs. a below-average unit of Trail Blazers’ bigs.
Donatas Motiejunas Questionable Saturday
The Rockets have upgraded Motiejunas to questionable for Saturday’s game. He hasn’t played all season because of a back injury. He can be avoided for your lineups, can’t see him getting that many minutes. If he does play it could cut into the minutes of Clint Capela and Terrence Jones.
As reported by: Jonathan Feigen Andrew Bogut out, Festus Ezeli to Start
Bogut will miss Saturday’s game against Toronto with back spasms. Starting in his place will be Festus Ezeli. He makes for a very nice punt play at center. He is only $4,400 on FD and $4,300 on DK. The only concern with him is the minutes, if the Warriors go small. When he’s on the court he produces. Over his last four games, he has averaged about 18 minutes and 20 FD points per game.

Mirotic will undergo concussion testing prior to the game Saturday to determine if he can play against the Hornets. If he can’t go, Joakim Noah will likely start in his place. Last game, he played a season high in minutes 35, and finished with 28 FD points. Noah makes for a very nice punt play at $4,400 on FD and $4,300 on DK. Taj Gibson would also see some more minutes if Mirotic is out.
