Anthony Davis Probable Tonight
The Pelicans list Davis as probable tonight, as he left last night’s game with a knee injury. Davis is an easy fade in cash games, but it’s Anthony Davis so he makes a great GPP play. Not a lot of people will be on him, because of his recent injuries. He also has a tough match-up against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz. If he plays this hurts the value of Ryan Anderson.
As reported by: Marc SteinLou Williams out Saturday
Williams will miss Saturday’s game because of a personal issue. Nick Young, Jordan Clarkson, and Kobe Bryant will likely see some more minutes. All three are unplayable, unless you want to take a flyer in a GPP.
As reported by: Mark MedinaHarrison Barnes doubtful Saturday
Barnes is doubtful for tonight’s game with an ankle injury. With Barnes out, look for Andre Iguodala to start. He is just $5,000 on FD and $5,200 on DK. He is a very safe play; even if he isn’t scoring he will fill up the stat sheet.
As reported by: Diamond LeungDeMarcus Cousins out Saturday
Cousins will miss his third straight game with a back injury. The last two games with Cousins out, Kosta Koufos has played very well. In those two games he is averaging 15 points and 11 rebounds. In both games, he has played over 30 minutes. He has a great price on FD at just $4,200. The only thing not to like for Koufos is the matchup against Golden State. Also with Cousins out, Omri Casspi remains a great value play.
As reported by: Bill HerendaTiago Splitter out Saturday
Splitter will remain out Saturday because of a hip injury. With him out, Mike Muscala played a season high 24 minutes last game. Muscala is a GPP punt play only, because his minutes are still in question.
As reported by: Chris VivlamoreEvan Fournier Questionable Sunday
Fournier is questionable to play Sunday because of a sore hip. If Fournier can’t go this would likely move Victor Oladipo back to the starting lineup. Despite coming off the bench the last couple of games, Oladipo has played pretty well. Last game, he scored 17 points, had 9 assists, and 6 rebounds. Saying that, no one can ever trust Scott Skiles.
As reported by: Josh RobbinsSaturday’s Injury Report
Here is the injury list as of Saturday afternoon for today’s games. Will keep you updated on the questionable players as the day goes on.
Probable: Rodney Hood
Out: Nene Hilario
Questionable: Garry Harris, Kenneth Faried, Anthony Davis, Harrison Barnes, DeMarcus Cousins, Tyreke Evans, Trey Burke
Doubtful: Jrue Holiday
Rodney Hood will try to play tonight
Hood is dealing with some back issues, but he said he will try to play tonight. If he does play he is a GPP play only, because his minutes are unsafe considering the injury concern. If he doesn’t play Alec Burks becomes an intriguing option.
As reported by: Tony JonesGary Harris Questionable Saturday
Harris is questionable tonight against the Mavericks with concussion symptoms. Harris has been playing pretty well lately, but if he is unable to go Will Barton becomes an option. Barton has been up and down the last couple of weeks, but if Harris is out he should see an uptick in minutes and production.
As reported by: Chris DempseyNene out Saturday
Nene just played two minutes last night before leaving with a calf injury. After the game, Nene said it was “Impossible” for him to play Saturday. Jared Dudley filled in for Nene last night and played very well. In 30 minutes, he scored 19 points and brought down 5 boards. Dudley is minimum price on both sites. He makes for a nice punt play especially if he is starting today. You can ignore Kris Humphries, as he hasn’t been getting the minutes lately.
As reported by: Jorge Castillo via Washington PostKosta Koufos starting for DeMarcus Cousins Friday
Kosta Koufos will be starting again for the injured DeMarcus Cousins. Koufos is a great plug-and-play option tonight and could easily surpass value in a high-scoring game. The Kings will need Koufos to stay out of foul trouble to contain Karl Anthony-Towns
As reported by: James Ham on TwitterZach LaVine starting for Rubio Friday
Zach LaVine will be starting for the injured Ricky Rubio and will be an elite punt option. Plug LaVine in with no hesitation and enjoy the returns tonight. LaVines price has risen so he is not a minimum priced player anymore.
As reported by: James Ham on TwitterRicky Rubio ruled out Friday
Ricky Rubio will miss another game and Zach LaVine will be starting in his place and becomes an elite punt option. His price has risen so he is not a minimum player guy, but in an uptempo game LaVine will get a ton of opportunities to score and faciliate.
As reported by: Jerry Zgoda on TwitterJrue Holiday starting Friday and sitting Saturday, Tyreke Evans out Friday
Jrue Holiday will be starting tonight against the Clippers and sitting on Saturday’s contest against the Jazz. Tyreke Evans will be out another game and has a shot to play tomorrow. Holiday makes for a good late-swap play because he will likely go all out in his hometown of Los Angeles.
As reported by: John Reid on TwitterNemanja Bjelica officially out Firday
Nemanja Bjelica has been listed as out for the Timberwolves. Adreian Payne has picked up his minutes at backup PF but is not really a DFS option tonight. Gorgui Dieng will soak up the remaining big man minutes behind Karl Anthony-Towns and is the better DFS option out of the two backups. In an up-tempo game it might be tough for Dieng to get a ton of run but Karl Anthony-Towns has been slumping so it’s not out of the question.
