Wesley Johnson

Washington Wizards
11/27/15, 10:19 PM ET

Wesley Johnson making third start in a row

Wesley Johnson will be making his third start in a row for the Clippers and still has a $3,000 tag. He is a 3 and D specialist and didn’t even score in his last game. Johnson is not a great punt option because of him getting a start in the last game of the night. Johnson starting diminishes Paul Pierce’s value.

Darrell Arthur

Phoenix Suns
11/27/15, 10:15 PM ET

Darrell Arthur & Nikola Jokic starting Friday

The Nuggets will start Darrell Arthur and Nikola Jokic in the frontcourt against the big Spurs. Arthur and Jokic are decent punt options against the Spurs but with such a large slate there is a ton of value to go around and the fact that it is a late game leaves little flexibility.

Andrew Bogut

Golden State Warriors
11/27/15, 10:04 PM ET

Andrew Bogut playing Friday

Andrew Bogut is in the starting lineup for the Warriors after he tweaked his back in practice on Wednesday. Bogut will matchup against Tyson Chandler and will likely not have much of an offensive impact. The Warriors will be in an uptempo game with the Suns and that will likely cause Bogut and Festus Ezeli to split the minutes.

DeMarcus Cousins

Denver Nuggets
11/27/15, 9:55 PM ET

DeMarcus Cousins ruled out Friday

DeMarcus Cousins will miss another game due to his back injury. Kosta Koufos will likely get another start for the Kings at center and he makes for a great fill-in play. The Kings are playing in an uptempo game leaving a ton of scoring and rebound opportunities for the big man. Karl Anthony-Towns will matchup against him, making it a chance that Koufos could get into foul trouble if Anthony-Towns is aggressive.

Matt Barnes

Golden State Warriors
11/27/15, 9:52 PM ET

Matt Barnes starting, Zach Randolph likely out

Matt Barnes will be making his third consecutive start for the injured Zach Randolph. Matt Barnes is an elite punt option tonight at SF and has been averaging 33.5 minutes over his last four games. Barnes is only $3,600 and could make for a great late-swap on DraftKings. Barnes fills the stat sheet so it will be easy for him to exceed value.

JaKarr Sampson

Indiana Pacers
11/27/15, 9:47 PM ET

JaKarr Sampson starting Friday

The Sixers are going to start JaKarr Sampson at SG to use his length on James Harden. Sampson is a cheap punt option that could get minutes even if there is a blowout. If Sampson can get over 20 minutes he will likely be able to hit 20 FPs. The Sixers had to make a late lineup change due to Nerlens Noel being scratched late.

Boban Marjanovic

Houston Rockets
11/27/15, 9:42 PM ET

Boban Marjanovic starting in place of Tim Duncan Friday

Boban Marjanovic will be making his first career start tonight for the resting Tim Duncan. Marjanovic is only a GPP dart throw tonight. The Nuggets are poor defensive team inside and could give up a decent game to Marjanovic. LaMarcus Aldridge is the elite choice for the Spurs inside and will take advantage of his size advantage on Darrell Arthur.

Nerlens Noel

Sacramento Kings
11/27/15, 9:32 PM ET

Nerlens Noel is a late scratch Friday

Nerlens Noel was a late scratch with knee soreness. Jerami Grant took his place in the starting lineup but is not a huge DFS option tonight with such a huge slate. The Sixers will have to play extremely well to stay in this game because Houston came out with a defense first mentality.

Clint Capela

Houston Rockets
11/27/15, 9:39 PM ET

Terrence Jones not starting, Clint Capela in

The Rockets have made a change to their starting lineup and will be rolling out Clint Capela next to Dwight Howard. Terrence Jones could play a ton of minutes if it turns into a blowout, with Capela being the elite punt option. The change in the starting lineup was for defensive purposes likely leaving Jones as the spark off the bench.

Patrick Beverley

Milwaukee Bucks
11/27/15, 9:12 PM ET

Patrick Beverley starting tonight, Jason Terry to the bench

The Rockets have inserted Patrick Beverley into the starting lineup. Jason Terry will go back to the bench, joining Ty Lawson as the backup PGs. Beverley is not really an offensive threat but with him starting Isaiah Canaan’s value takes a hit. Canaan was an elite punt option with his under $4k salary, but with Beverley starting his ceiling is likely now capped.

Jordan Hill

Minnesota Timberwolves
11/27/15, 8:34 PM ET

Jordan Hill out with sore lower back

The Pacers have listed Jordan Hill as out due to a sore lower back. Lavoy Allen will likely get his minutes with Ian Mahinmi likely to get over 30 minutes tonight. Mahinmi makes for a good play because Pau Gasol does not draw many fouls, likely leading to Mahinmi getting extended run. This game is going to be a defensive battle, leaving a ton of rebound opportunities for the big men.

Kenneth Faried

Houston Rockets
11/27/15, 8:29 PM ET

Kenneth Faried out Friday

Kenneth Faried has been ruled out of Friday’s contest with his ankle injury. His replacement starter has not been named, but Darrell Arthur has played over 30 minutes replacing Faried. The Spurs are tough defensively so it is tough to recommend Arthur, but if he does get over 30 minutes again you can expect at least 11 points and 5 rebounds like he did on this past Tuesday.

As reported by: J Morton on Twitter

Nik Stauskas

Indiana Pacers
11/27/15, 8:00 PM ET

Nik Stauskas active tonight

Nik Stauskas is active tonight and there is an outside chance that he does play. If he does get some burn it would diminish the outstanding value of Robert Covington. The game is listed as a blowout, so Stauskas could get some garbage time burn and make a DFS impact. Additionally, if Stauskas plays Hollis Thompson’s value would also take a hit.

As reported by: Bob Cooney on Twitter

Gerald Green

Houston Rockets
11/27/15, 7:52 PM ET

Gerald Green starting Friday

Gerald Green will be starting in place of injured Luol Deng on Friday. Deng will have missed his second game in a row with the hamstring injury. Green got the last start that Deng missed and had 16 points with 5 rebounds. Green is an elite punt option with his $3,300 salary on DraftKings and $3,500 on FanDuel.

Isaiah Canaan

Milwaukee Bucks
11/27/15, 7:40 PM ET

Sixers to start Canaan at PG, McConnell to the bench

This makes Isaiah Canaan an even stronger value play tonight. He’ll likely see upwards of 30 minutes and will be tasked with more of the ball-handling duties with McConnell off the bench. Robert Covington, Jerami Grant, Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor round out the Sixers starting five. Covington is an elite value target tonight, and even has the revenge narrative going for him (both he and Isaiah Canaan started their careers with the Rockets).
