Victor Oladipo and C.J. Watson out for Orlando tonight
As expected, Victor Oladipo will miss today’s game against Utah as will C.J. Watson. Head Coach Scott Skiles said Evan Fournier will start at SG, Tobias Harris at SF, and Channing Frye at PF. It’s a tough match up against the defensive minded Jazz but with a thin bench, the minutes for those three should be substantial and all are viable GPP plays with Fournier being the best of the group.
With Oladipo out, Fournier will start at SG, Harris will start at SF & Channing Frye will start at PF, Skiles said.

Meyers Leonard out tonight
Meyers Leonard is out tonight and Damian Lillard is probable for Portland’s game against the Grizzlies. This should mean more minutes for Mason Plumlee and Ed Davis with Plumlee being a viable GPP option.

Rodney Stuckey and Myles Turner are out for tonight’s game. CJ Miles should see all the minutes he can handle and is a great GPP play. Chase Budinger and Glenn Robinson should also see more play.

Markieff Morris left early in the first half with a knee injury and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. Jon Leuer started the second half in his place. Ronnie Price also exited the game with concussion-like symptoms. Look for Tyson Chandler to get more involved, with TJ Warren also getting more minutes. The Suns will continue to rely heavily on Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight in the absence of Morris and Price.

Chris Paul out Thursday
Chris Paul is not starting, and Pablo Prigioni will be starting in his place. Expect Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford to get a ton of run. Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight will be attacking the Clippers constantly all night. Rivers and Crawford will make for good plays, but Blake Griffin will have to initiate the offense for the Clippers. Jamal Crawford will not be starting as they had originally noted, with Rivers starting at SG.

The Warriors are going to be going with the same starters that they have played the entire season. Andrew Bogut is healthy and once again will be coming off the bench. Leandro Barbosa is out for the Warriors, and will be for the next two games. Draymond Green is battling flu-like symptoms so he could be limited.

With Ricky Rubio missing tonight’s game, Zach Lavine will have the task of starting opposite Stephen Curry. Lavine makes for an elite punt and solid late-swap option by only being $3,500 on DraftKings. The Timber Wolves only have Andre Miller and rookie Tyus Jones on the depth chart behind him. Expect for Lavine to play 30+ minutes tonight regardless of the score. Lavine was able to put up 38.75 on DK in his last spot-start for Rubio.
Andrew Wiggins will play on Thursday vs. GS
Wiggins will play Thursday against the Warriors. The value of Kevin Martin, Nemanja Bjelica and Zach LaVine would have soared without Wiggins in the lineup, but the second-year wing is healthy enough to play tonight. He’s very much in play this evening and should see big minutes as usual. LaVine is an elite punt play across the industry, and Bjelica is still an option as he’s expected to see 25+ minutes off the bench and may benefit from garbage time if there is any to be had.

Ricky Rubio out on Thursday
Rubio will sit again on Thursday as what seems like a precautionary move. This is great news for the DFS value of Zach LaVine, who is now a viable play in any format as the starting PG. Kevin Martin will likely see a slight bump in playing time off the bench as a result. Stephen Curry will now have an even easier time navigating the T’Wolves defense.

Josh Richardson will be starting for the Heat at SG tonight. He will have to guard Rodney Hood and will likely be targetted by the Jazz. Tyler Johnson and Justise Winslow still figure to have a prominent role off the bench for the Heat, both have been playing well so Coach Erik Spoelstra did not want to mess up the rotation.

Trey Lyles will draw the start on Thursday to keep the second unit in tact. This means Trevor Booker will be coming off the bench, and it’s an obvious hit to his DFS value. Booker is still in play tonight as he’ll likely see more playing time than Lyles when all is said and done, but he’s not the plug and play that he was before the Lyles news came across the wire. Derrick Favors value rises a bit with Gobert out, although he’s likely to see more of Hassan Whiteside. Lyles is an option at minimum price, but he might not be safe enough to consider for cash games.

Not only is this great news for the DFS value of Derrick Favors and Trevor Booker, but this also helps out Hassan Whiteside and Chris Bosh on the Heat side. With Gobert out, look for Trevor Booker to move into the starting lineup, making him an elite value play in all formats. Favors can also be trusted to play big minutes as a result, making him viable in any format. Gobert isn’t expected to miss much time and may end up returning tomorrow in Orlando.

After missing Monday’s game to rest, Kevin Garnett will be back in the T’Wolves starting lineup on Thursday. He’s unlikely to see more than 18-20 minutes of playing time, but his presence isn’t good news for the likes of Nemanja Bjelica and Adreian Payne. Bjelica can still be used as a punt play at SF/PF, as he’s looked great off the bench this year and this game isn’t expected to stay particularly close.

Both Andrew Wiggins (knee) and Ricky Rubio (hamstring) are nursing injuries and will be game-time decisions. They will need to go through warmups before the T’Wolves deciding on their availability. Kevin Martin and Zach Lavine would be the DFS targets if either player was to miss the game. Wiggins seems likelier to return but no official word will be has been given yet.

Rudy Gobert is currently a game-time decision after missing this morning’s session. Trevor Booker would make for a fine plug-and-plug in the absence of the Utah big man. Keep a dummy lineup ready with Booker incase Gobert is a scratch so that you are not scrambling last minute to figure out the implications. Derrick Favors could start at center if Gobert misses the game.
