Beno Udrih and Jarnell Stokes available Friday
Both players that came over from the trade are available tonight for the Heat. Dwayne Wade is out, so Udrih is the likeliest of the two to get some time in this game. While he is not a viable option just yet against a tough Jazz defense, Udrih has a chance to play some minutes behind Goran Dragic. The Heat’s roster is in flux, so the main target should be Chris Bosh with his familiarity of the offense.

Dwyane Wade out
Dwayne Wade is out tonight against the Jazz. Wade is not injured, just in the hospital with his son. He will likely be able to suit up for the Heat’s next game against the next Tuesday. With Wade missing the game, Tyler Johnson and Justise Winslow get a bump in DFS value. While the replacement starter has not been named, Beno Udrih is also available for his first game.

Joakim Noah was a late scratch on Monday against the Sixers, but has had a whole week off and looks to play Friday. Noah was having some knee issues in shootaround but seems to be over it. He will likely resume playing in his bench role, diminishing Taj Gibson’s value. Noah will need an injury to one of the Bulls frontcourt players to really have any sort of impact.

Jrue Holiday will be starting Friday after taking Wednesday off, as the Pelicans travel to Toronto to take on the Raptors. Holiday starting greatly reduces Ish Smith’s value, eliminating his chance at being a viable punt play. Holiday will have his hands full against Kyle Lowry, and will still be on a minutes restriction. Ish Smith has been playing well so the coaching staff may give him some extended run to keep Holiday fresh for Sunday’s juicy matchup against the Knicks. The Pelicans have another back-to-back set next week so prepare for Holiday to sit one out then.

Meyers Leonard may end up missing 4-6 weeks due to a dislocated shoulder, which opens up plenty of opportunity for Mason Plumlee, Ed Davis and Maurice Harkless to pick up more playing time. Plumlee is the main beneficiary as he’ll be tasked with playing upwards of 30 minutes a night as the Blazers best big man. He’s a nightly double-double threat and is averaging at least one block and steal per game, giving him a nice ceiling considering his mid-range price. Ed Davis has been somewhat of a DFS darling over the last few seasons, but can never seem to claim a consistent role wherever he goes. If he’s afforded an increase in playing time, he’ll be a nice high-upside GPP target.

Anthony Davis doubtful Friday
Anthony Davis has been suffering from a hip injury and is doubtful for Friday. Ryan Anderson started in his place last game and had 17 points and 11 rebounds. Eric Gordon and Ish Smith also benefited greatly with Davis and Holiday missing the game. Both Gordon and Smith played well in the Pelicans first victory of the season. Ish Smith’s value is tied to if Jrue Holiday plays or not, but Gordon and Anderson should see all the shots and minutes they can handle.

Jamal Crawford will be starting tonight for the Clippers with J.J. Redick out with a back injury. Crawford has struggled to get his shot going this season, and the lineup change could be his spark. While he is listed as the starter, the Clippers are playing on the second night of a back-to-back and the legs might not be there. Austin Rivers is $3,100 on DraftKings and $3,500 on FanDuel, making for an extremely enticing punt play. Rivers played well last night and could carry the momentum over. The Suns bench is comprised of mostly younger players, allowing for a possible sloppy game that Rivers would thrive in. Crawford is more expensive than Rivers on both sites, so choosing which player to start will depend on your roster construction.

Darren Collison has been ruled out of tomorrow night’s game with against the Nets, while Seth Curry is listed as questionable. Per Sean Cunningham, the belief is that Curry will be able to play tomorrow, so the Kings are likely to have some added depth at the PG spot. Rajon Rondo has been posting huge fantasy totals with big minutes over the last few games as the only healthy PG on the roster, and he should still see upwards of 35-38 minutes with Collison out. He’s an excellent DFS target in any format tomorrow.

Enes Kanter is expected to get his minutes increased to the high-20s and becomes an elite option against the 76ers demolished front line Friday. Enes Kanter will work with Russell Westbrook on some two-man game, and gobble up a ton of rebounds. Kanter is a double-double threat that could get extended run if Steven Adams gets into foul trouble against Jahlil Okafor. Last season with Durant out, Kanter averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds after coming over in the trade from Utah.

Warriors backup guard Leandro Barbosa is not with the team for tonight’s game against the T’Wolves. Shaun Livingston should get a slight bump in minutes, as well as Andre Iguodala. Iguodala is the stronger DFS option out of the two, with his ability to fill up the stat sheet. The Warriors struggled to start the game well the last time they were on the second night of a back-to-back. Iguodala picked them up and recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench in 33 minutes, leading to a Warriors victory.
Leandro Barbosa not with the Warriors due to personal matter
Leandro Barbosa is not with the Warriors tonight in Minnesota due to a personal matter. This should open up a few extra minutes off the bench for the likes of Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala, but there isn’t much in the way of fantasy implications here.

Turner was an absolute per-minute monster during the preseason and showed some flashes during the regular season, but he’ll now miss at least a month with an injury to his left thumb. While he’s out, look for Ian Mahinmi and Jordan Hill to carry most of the load in the front-court, with Lavoy Allen also helping out off the bench. Paul George will also slot up to play PF when the Pacers go small.

J.J. Redick is out for tonight’s game against the Suns. This gives a boost to the DFS value of Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford who are both in play on this three game slate. Lance Stephenson may also see some extra run as a result.

Joakim Noah probable for Friday
The Bulls center went through a full practice today and is probable for Friday’s contest against the Hornets. It’s tough to predict how many minutes he will play or who it will impact the most but it figures to reduce Nikola Mirotic’s playing time the most although Head Coach Fred Hoiberg stated that Mirotic would likely start due to match ups.
