Kosta Koufos and Willie Cauly Stein starting Tuesday for Kings
Willie Cauley-Stein and Kosta Koufos will both be starting tomorrow for the Kings. DeMarcus Cousins is out two games with a sore Achilles. Both players will have a tough matchup against the Grizzlies on Tuesday, then play on a back to back against the Suns Wednesday. Ben McLemore will also be joining the starting lineup alongside Rajon Rondo and Rudy Gay.

Thabo Sefolosha out for the Hawks
Thabo Sefolosha will be sitting out Tuesday’s game against the Heat. The Hawks host the Nets on Wednesday and are taking a cautious approach. Kent Bazemore will once again start and get all the minutes he can handle on the wing. He is a good GPP play due to his contributions across the board. Mike Muscala is also questionable with an ankle injury, while Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver are both probable.

The Knicks will roll out Jose Calderon, Sasha Vujacic, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Robin Lopez as the starting five against the Spurs. Arron Afflalo and Lou Amundson are still inactive. There aren’t any attractive DFS options on the Knicks tonight thanks to a very tough match-up with San Antonio, but some of the reserves/rookies may offer decent GPP upside at extremely low ownership percentages. Know that you are playing with fire if you roster any of the Knicks tonight.

Brandon Bass and Larry Nance Jr. questionable
Brandon Bass has a corneal abrasion on his left eye and Larry Nance has a broken nose. Both Lakers are questionable for their matchup with the Nuggets on Tuesday. Bass was getting some minutes this season as Julius Randle’s backup, expect Ryan Kelly to see more action due to the injury. Kelly could be a viable punt play in a high-scoring affair.

Both Robert Covington and Nik Stauskas will be starting tonight for the Sixers. Covington will be limited, and only play about 24 minutes. While he is not a great DFS play with his minutes still uncertain, expect Stauskas to contribute with some scoring and rebounds in a matchup against J.R. Smith. He’s a viable punt play at SG in GPPs, and could also be an option in cash games if you’re feeling lucky.

As for the rest of the Nuggets injury report, Kenneth Faried (lower back soreness) is listed as probable, with Joffrey Lauvergne and Nikola Jokic (both with lower back strains) listed as questionable. This news should lead to another night of big minutes for Danilo Gallinari, with Gary Harris and Kenneth Faried also picking up extra court time. The Nuggets and Lakers game will feature one of the night’s highest totals, so this will be a game you’ll want to target for DFS purposes.

Both players were questionable at best coming in, but neither will take the floor on Monday. While Jabari Parker is healthy tonight, he’s not expected to play until at least Wednesday. Henson and Mayo’s absence will leave more court time for Khris Middleton, Jerryd Bayless and Greivis Vasquez. Johnny O’Bryant may draw the start at PF, but the Bucks will be able to roll out a small starting five if they choose, given the undersized Thaddeus Young at PF for the Nets. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greg Monroe are the only cash game viable options on the Bucks roster this evening, with Khris Middleton and MCW offering nice tournament upside.

Jabari Parker is active tonight against the Nets but will not be playing. The Bucks host the 76ers in their next game, so look for Parker to get some minutes on Wednesday.

This was believed to be the case based on our last update, but we’ve now received confirmation. Festus Ezeli is likely to start and is a solid punt play on a night without much in the way of value.

Terrence Jones will not play tonight against the Thunder. Jones will now miss back-to-back games with an eye laceration, but he’s not expected to miss much (if any) time beyond tonight. With Dwight Howard expected to play tonight, Jones’ DFS value would have taken a hit anyway. Clint Capela should see some extra run off the bench with the Rockets very undermanned in the front-court. Either Marcus Thornton or Montrezl Harrell will likely draw the start in Jones place. Each would become interesting GPP punt plays as the starter.

Bogut is very unlikely to play tonight as he’s yet to pass the league’s concussion protocol. Aside from his current ailments, Bogut has always been a guy that the Warriors have taken it easy on, so he may not even play tonight if he did pass concussion tests. Festus Ezeli will get the start at center assuming Bogut sits, and would become one of the top value plays of the day on a night without many solid low-priced options. Ezeli is our top dollar per point play in RotoGrinders projections.

Covington has admitted that he doesn’t feel like he’s at 100%, so the Sixers will understandably take it easy with one of their better young players. We’d expect him to end up somewhere in the range of 18-24 minutes on Monday, but it’s a little harder to project where those minutes will come from. It’s likely that the playing time of wings like Jakarr Sampson and Hollis Thompson will drop marginally.

This news certainly creates an interesting situation for DFS purposes in Sacramento. Rudy Gay will benefit the most as he becomes the unquestioned top option on offense; his shot attempts and usage rate will rise, although he’ll still a little hard to trust on Tuesday given the match-up with Memphis. Gay did average a healthy 24.3 PPG against the Grizzlies last year on better than 50% shooting. Rajon Rondo and Willie Cauley-Stein will also see spikes in their DFS value with Cousins on the shelf.

Deron Williams will dress for tonight’s game against the Lakers. Don’t put him on any your roster’s because it’s unclear how many minutes he will play. Him returning hurts Raymond Felton’s value.

Chandler Parsons Active
Chandler Parsons will make his season debut tonight against the Lakers. He is not relevant yet in DFS because he will be on a minute’s restriction and will only play in the 1st half according to Rick Carlisle.
