Jerick McKinnon returns to practice
McKinnon has missed some time with an ankle injury but practiced today and is in line to return to action this week when the Vikings take on the Lions. It’s a good match up against the poor run defense of the Lions but with Matt Asiata and Ronnie Hillman also vying for touches it’s not a situation we can trust for DFS purposes. Add in the ineffective Vikings offensive line and it’s one to avoid for all three.

Carlos Hyde remains uncertain for this week
The 49ers RB continues to practice in a non-contact jersey and Head Coach Chip Kelly seems unsure of whether or not he will be able to play this week. It’s shaping up to be a game-time decision for him in what would be an elite match up against a Saints team that is one of the worst in the league at defending the run. If he can’t go, DuJuan Harris has moved up the depth chart and appears to be the favored back – he’d make for an excellent value option.

It looks like it is Charcandrick West week as Ware missed practice again. West will be a highly owned play in both cash and GPP’s this week if this is the case, especially going against a Jaguars defense that is 27th in Rush DVOA. However, there is some merit to fading West in GPP’s given his likely high ownership and his lack of production outside of a stellar three game stretch last season.

Looks like the Browns top receiving threat will play this week after returning to practice today with a sore hamstring. He’s got the upside to always be in play but the return of Corey Coleman could be a hit on the number of targets he’ll see this week against the Cowboys.

It looks like Allen will return to action this week after practicing for the second straight day. Hilton had the day off yesterday but practiced today and appears as if he too will play against the Packers this week. It’s a good match up in what is projected to be the highest scoring game of the week – especially for Hilton going against a vulnerable Packers secondary.

It’s a positive sign towards returning to action for the Bills star RB after missing their last game and not practicing at all last week. They want to evaluate how he progresses so his status is still uncertain for this week. We’ll update you whenever we learn more.

The Packers could certainly use Starks as they have literally turned to their WR corps to man the RB position the past few weeks. Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said he’d practice limited and they’d see how it goes. It’s unlikely he’ll play this week but it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on. We’ll update you if anything changes with the Packers RB situation.

The veteran WR missed another practice – it seems unlikely he will play this week after there was hope that he would return. Mike Wallace should continue to receive tons of volume in the Ravens passing game.

Jones is all set to take on the Buccaneers. It’s a nice spot to target him; Tampa Bay ranks 20th in WR1 DVOA. The game total is the second highest of the week at 51 points, so there should be plenty of fantasy goodness. Jones will likely see his ownership drop due to recency bias, but he remains one of the best receivers in the game and he’s capable of going off in any matchup.

Odell Beckham has limited practice Wednesday
Beckham (hip) said he was around 65% when he posted a 5/49/0 line against the Rams in London. He estimates he’s now around 85%. Beckham was limited today in order to get some extra rest, there isn’t any concern regarding his playing status in Week 9. The Giants host the Eagles in a rivalry game this weekend, and Beckham’s 24th birthday falls on Saturday. According to Beckham himself, he tends “to rise to the occasion” around his birthday. Take it for what you will, but in his first two seasons he had 100-yard days in both games directly following his birthday. In 2015, he averaged 132.7 yards over six games from November 1st to December 14th, and he scored eight touchdowns during that stretch.

Coach Mike Mularkey is optimistic DeMarco will play against the Chargers this weekend. Murray had an MRI on his injured toe earlier in the week, which came back “good for the most part.” San Diego has only allowed 83 rushing yards per game, but they’ve allowed 11 touchdowns on the ground this season, third most in the league. This is a result of teams successfully attacking San Diego on the ground inside the red zone. DeMarco Murray currently sees over 50% of Tennessee’s red zone opportunities, and he’s scored six times. Assuming Murray is healthy by Sunday, it’s a great spot to target him.
As reported by: ESPN Marvin Jones and Theo Riddick both have limited practices Wednesday
They’re most likely getting a rest day; both are fully expected to play this weekend. Riddick had a big game against the Texans in Week 8, accruing 133 total yards and a touchdown on 19 touches. Jones hasn’t had a 100-yard receiving day since piling up 205 yards on the Packers in Week 3. Neither player has a nice matchup this weekend as they face the stout Minnesota defense.

Bryant (knee, back) should be fine to play Sunday against the Browns. He’s coming off a really nice game; he converted 14 targets into four receptions, 113 yards, and a touchdown against the Eagles. He could have had another touchdown or two, but Prescott just missed him a couple times in the end zone. Cleveland has a horrendous pass defense, which sets Dez up for another big game this weekend.

Pryor (hamstring) is still expected to play Sunday, but he’d have to get back to practice in order to do so. It’s possible he suffered some type of setback this past weekend against the Jets. If he plays, he’ll be competing with Corey Coleman for targets, as the rookie is expected to get back on the field for the first time since Week 2. Pryor actually out-targeted Coleman in the two games they played together, which is a good sign for his fantasy value going forward.
