Tyrell Williams has Grade 2 MCL sprain
Adding to our previous report. This is why Benjamin didn’t practice today. If he plays, he’ll be a risk to roster this weekend. Tyler Lockett had a similar injury earlier in the season, which caused him to really struggle on the field.

Hunter Henry doesn't practice Wednesday
Henry (knee) is still expected to play Sunday. He’s disappeared behind Antonio Gates the past couple of weeks. Gates has averaged 9.5 targets per game over the past two, while Henry has averaged four. It seems like Henry won’t have too much fantasy value as long as Gates is healthy.

They both missed practice last Wednesday as well, but still played on Sunday. We’re expecting the pair to suit up this weekend against the Titans. Benjamin’s injury is a bit more concerning; he’s dealing with some type of PCL injury, on which he sought a second opinion Monday. It may continue to bother him on the field. He hasn’t had more than four receptions in any of the past three games. However, he’ll face a Tennessee pass defense that’s been struggling as of late. They were once in the top 10 in pass DVOA earlier in the season, but have fallen to 24th heading into Week 9.

Hilton didn’t practice Wednesday. He tweaked his hamstring against the Chiefs, which forced him to miss some snaps. There’s a chance he’ll end up missing the Colts’ Week 9 game against the Packers, as he said himself he was “unsure” if he’ll suit up. If he does, it will be an excellent matchup against a struggling secondary. If he doesn’t, it would be a great spot to fire up Donte Moncrief, who would become the primary receiver. Against the Chiefs, Moncrief’s first game back since fracturing his scapula in Week 2, he lead the team in targets with nine, and converted them into four receptions, 41 yards, and a touchdown.

Booker (shoulder) will be fine to take on the Raiders this weekend, which is another nice matchup for the rookie. Oakland has one of the worst defensive lines in football, ranking 29th in adjusted line yards per carry (4.51), according to Football Outsiders. His price has come up across the industry, so he isn’t the must-start he was last week. He remains a great option though, as he’s the clear lead back in Denver.

Hyde is dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him out of San Francisco’s Week 7 game against the Buccaneers. He’s been practicing with a non-contact jersey this week, but it seems like that’s just a precautionary measure. Hyde gets an awesome matchup in Week 9 with the Saints, who have given up the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL (12).

Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole is reporting that Ben is “fully expecting” to play this week. Roethlisberger is coming off a torn meniscus, which he suffered in Week 6. Coach Mike Tomlin has said Ben’s Week 9 playing status will depend on how well he can practice this week, so it’s still up in the air. We probably won’t know for sure until the weekend, but it’s looking more likely that Ben will play against the Ravens.

The Buccaneers have listed WR Russell Shepard as doubtful for their TNF tilt against the Falcons. Adam Humphries and Cecil Shorts receive a slight bump in value but neither are viable options except perhaps as GPP fliers in small two game slates.

Cody Kessler back at practice; expected to be starter if cleared
After suffering a concussion and missing last week’s game the Browns rookie QB is back at practice and is expected to be the starter over Josh McCown if he doesn’t suffer any setbacks. They face the Cowboys who are 22nd in pass DVOA and it would seem to be an apparent downgrade from McCown as the starter. Kessler has only topped 12.5 DraftKings fpts once in five games.

The Dolphins TE looks as if he will return to action this week after practicing for the second straight day. Jordan Cameron continues to remain out so it’ll be Sims and MarQueis Gray splitting the work at the TE position for Miami. They face a Jets defense that is 31st in Pass DVOA and 20th in TE DVOA but given the uncertainty at the position and the team utilizing TE’s much you can avoid utilizing these two in your DFS rosters.

The exciting rookie WR for the Browns is expected to play and start for Cleveland this week when they face the Dallas Cowboys. It’s an average match up for Coleman as the Cowboys are a slow-paced team that is 22nd in Pass DVOA but top 10 in WR1 and WR2 DVOA. Still he has the big upside you look for in GPP’s and is affordable at just $5,600 on FanDuel and $4,500 on DraftKings.

No word on his status for this upcoming weeks game against the Packers but Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen returned to practice today. It’s a good sign for the Colts passing attack (but a bad one for his back up Jack Doyle) who face a Packers team that is 22nd in DvP vs the TE position in a game that is expected to be a shoot out. We’ll keep an eye on Allen’s status and update when we learn more.

Ware wasn’t expected to practice today as he is in the league concussion protocol but the Chiefs have not ruled him out as of yet for their game against Jacksonville this week. If he is unable to go, Charcandrick West would become a chalk value option at RB. We’ll keep an eye on this situation and let you know if any updates become available.

The Vikings RB stated his ankle feels better and he expects to play this week when his team hosts the Lions. It’s a good match up for the team as the Lions are 25th in RB Rush DVOA but it’s a situation that’s hard to trust as Matt Asiata vultures red zone and passing down snaps and Ronnie Hillman has been thrust into the mix of late. McKinnon might be worth a GPP flyer or two if you’re mass multi-entering lineups but outside of that he can be avoided. His return makes Asiata/Hillman unusable for DFS purposes.

Apparently Alex Smith did have a concussion as he will not even be available as a backup this week for the Chiefs when they play the Jacksonville Jaguars. Nick Foles will get the start against a Jaguars defense that has been surprisingly good (8th in pass DVOA) against the pass. Still Foles is intriguing as one of the lowest priced QB’s across the industry – especially if Spencer Ware is out (he missed practice again today) and the team has to rely on Charcandrick West as their feature back.
