NEP WR Nelson Agholor (concussion) and RB Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) DNP Thursday
NEP WR Nelson Agholor (concussion) and RB Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) DNP Thursday ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills. If Agholor were unable to clear the concussion protocol by this weekend, N’Keal Harry could play a larger role in the New England passing attack behind Jakobi Meyers. If Stevenson were to be unable to suit up, Damien Harris (trending towards a return), Brandon Bolden, and J.J. Taylor (activated from the COVID list this week) would likely split the backfield work. Harris would be the primary back with Bolden seeing most of the passing down work and Taylor mixing in. It will be important to monitor the practice status of both Agholor and Stevenson as the week progresses.

Trinity Benson has been placed on the COVID list ahead of Detroit’s matchup with the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Benson was expected to serve as receiver depth and his absence should not be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Detroit LionsBAL TE Josh Oliver placed on COVID list
Josh Oliver has been placed on the COVID list ahead of the Ravens matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Oliver was expected to serve as tight end depth behind Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle. This role will likely now be filled by Eric Tomlinson and should not have any DFS impact.
As reported by: Baltimore RavensSFO RB Brian Hill elevated from practice squad for Thursday
Brian Hill has been elevated from the practice squad for Thursday night’s game against the Tennessee Titans. Hill is not expected to play much of a role on offense and is only slated to play on special teams. He is not expected to be DFS relevant at this point, even on a showdown slate.
As reported by: Cam InmanPHI RB Miles Sanders (quad) DNP Thursday
Miles Sanders (quad) DNP Thursday ahead of the Eagles matchup against the New York Giants. Sanders is dealing with multiple injuries and could be taking a couple maintenance days. If he were to be ruled out for this weekend, Jordan Howard would likely lead the backfield with both Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell also mixing it. Howard would probably be the best DFS option based on his goal line work in a matchup the Eagles are expected to win fairly easily. It will be important to check Sanders’s listing on the injury report released tomorrow.
MIA TE Cethan Carter placed on COVID list
Cethan Carter has been placed on the COVID list ahead of Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Carter was expected to serve as tight end depth and his absence should not be DFS relevant, even on a showdown slate.
As reported by: Barry JacksonTBB RB Leonard Fournette placed on IR; WR Jaelon Darden placed on COVID list; WR Mike Evans DNP Thursday
As expected, Leonard Fournette has been placed on IR. With Fournette ruled out, Ronald Jones is expected to serve lead back duties this Sunday with Ke’Shaughn Vaughn and the newly signed Le’Veon Bell available to back him up. Jones projects as one of the better value plays on the slate and will need to be considered in most lineups. Jaelon Darden has been placed on the COVID list, he was not expected to play a major role this weekend and his likely absence is not expected to be DFS relevant. Mike Evans logged a second DNP Thursday and seems to be trending the wrong way for this weekend’s game. Chris Godwin is out for the year with a torn ACL, leaving Evans and Brown as the top receivers for Tampa Bay. Right now, it seems like a longshot for Evans to suit up this weekend so Brown looks like one of the best plays on the slate. Brown should see a ton of targets with Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller also available as receivers. It will be important to monitor Evans’s listing on the injury report released tomorrow.
Other tagged players: Jaelon Darden, Mike EvansGBP WR Malik Taylor ruled out for Saturday; TE Dominique Dafney listed questionable
Malik Taylor has been ruled out for Saturday’s contest against the Cleveland Browns, while Dominique Dafney has been listed questionable. Taylor was not expected to play a major role on Saturday and his absence should not be DFS relevant even on a small slate. Dafney if active would serve as the third tight end behind Josiah Deguara and Marcedes Lewis and would also not figure to be DFS relevant.

WAS RB Antonio Gibson (toe) DNP Thursday
PIT TE Pat Freiermuth (concussion) DNP Thursday
Pat Freiermuth (concussion) logged a DNP Thursday ahead of this weekend’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. If Freiermuth was forced to miss this week Zach Gentry would see the bulk of the tight end snaps with Kevin Rader available to back him up and play in two tight end sets. Gentry could be considered as an unproven value option based on expected volume in an offense that normally uses its tight ends in the passing game.
As reported by: Adam CaplanBUF RB Taiwan Jones returned to practice Thursday
Taiwan Jones returned to practice Thursday ahead of the Bills matchup against the New England Patriots. If Jones is able to suit up this Sunday it would likely come at the expence of Zack Moss who has been inactive 2 of the past 3 weeks. This would likely mean more carries and snaps for Devin Singletary and Matt Breida as Jones is expected to mostly serve on special teams. Either way it would be difficult to roster a Bills running back against the New England Patriots and it is best to look elsewhere.
As reported by: Buffalo BillsNYG WR Kadarius Toney activated off COVID list, status still in question for Sunday due to oblique injury
Kadarius Toney has been activated off the COVID list but his status is still in question for Sunday’s game due to an oblique injury. Toney has cleared the first hurdle in making his return by clearing the COVID protocols. Right now, it is believed that it would be unlikely for him to suit up this Sunday having not practiced since his injury. It should be another tough week for the Giants offense with either Mike Glennon or Jake Fromm starting at quarterback. The top receiving options will be Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton, and John Ross though it will tough to consider any of them this weekend.
As reported by: Pat LeonardTEN WR A.J. Brown will be activated off IR for Thursday Night; expected to play
A.J. Brown will be activated off IR for Thursday night’s contest against the San Francisco 49ers. Brown should instantly slot back in as the top receiver for the Titans and should be expected to see a large share of targets in what could be a decently high-paced game. Brown’s return will knock Julio Jones down to the number two role and Nick Westbrrok-Ikhine down to the number three spot. Brown should be considered on the showdown slate and could have a monster game against a weak 49ers secondary.
As reported by: Ian RapoportCAR WR D.J. Moore DNP Thursday
D.J. Moore (hamstring) DNP Thursday and is expected to be a game-time decision this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Moore has been able to play through the same injury for the past couple of weeks but seems to have aggravated it this past weekend. If he were to be unable to go, Robbie Anderson, Brandon Zylstra, and Terrace Marshall would likely be forced to step up and play a bigger role in the offense with Anderson expected to be the biggest beneficiary. We likely won’t find out about Moore’s official status till inactives are released on Sunday but it will be important to monitor his practice status the rest of the week.
