NEP WR Nelson Agholor (concussion) and Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) DNP Wednesday
Nelson Agholor (concussion) and Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) logged DNPs Wednesday ahead of the Patriots matchup against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. If Agholor were unable to clear the concussion protocol by this weekend, Kendrick Bourne and K’Keal harry could play larger roles in the New England passing attack behind Jakobi Meyers. If Stevenson were to be unable to suit up, Damien Harris (trending towards a return), Brandon Bolden, and J.J. Taylor (activated from the COVID list today) would likely split the backfield work. Harris would be the primary back with Bolden seeing most of the passing down work and Taylor mixing in. It will be important to monitor the practice status of both Agholor and Stevenson as the week progresses.

JAC WR Laviska Shenault (shoulder/foot) logged a DNP Wednesday ahead of the jaguars matchup with the New York Jets on Sunday. If Shenault were to miss this weekend Marvin Jones and Laquon Treadwell would be the clear top receivers in the Jacksonville passing attack with Tavon Austin also likely to see an increased role. It is still too early in the week to determine Shenault’s status so it will be important to monitor how he progresses through practice the rest of the week.
As reported by: Adam CaplanNYJ WR Jamison Crowder DNP Wednesday
Jamison Crowder logged a DNP Wednesday ahead of the Jets matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Losing Crowder would be a big hit to the New York offense that is already struggling as is. Braxton Berrios and Keelan Cole would become the top receivers and could be considered as value options this weekend. It will be important to monitor Crowder’s practice status as the week progresses.
As reported by: Adam CaplanSEA RB Alex Collins activated from COVID list; TE WIll Dissly placed on COVID list
Alex Collins has been activated from the COVID list, while WIll Dissly has been placed on the COVID list ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Chicago Bears. Collins will likely slot back into his role splitting time in Seattle backfield. Seattle’s RB situation seems to change each week and at this point it is best to just stay away from it outside of dart throws in GPPs. With Dissly placed on the COVID list and his status in doubt for this weekend, Colby Parkinson is in line to be the primary backup for Gerald Everett. Parkinson doesn’t figure to see enough work to be considered in DFS contests.

Drew Sample (foot) logged a DNP Wednesday ahead of the Bengals matchup with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Sample was expected to back up C.J. Uzomah this weekend, however if he were unable to suit up this role would be filled by Mitchell Wilcox. Sample/Wilcox are not expected to be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Paul Dehner Jr.ATL WR TaJee Sharpe (foot) DNP Wednesday
TaJee Sharpe (foot) logged a DNP Wednesday ahead of Atlanta’s matchup with the Detroit Lions. If Sharp were forced to miss this weekend, Christian Blake and Frank Darby could be forced to play a more prominent role in the offense behind Russell Gage and Olamide Zaccheaus. Neither Blake or Darby would figure to be DFS relevant however.
As reported by: Tim TwentymanPIT TE Pat Freiermuth (concussion) DNP Wednesday
Pat Freiermuth (concussion) logged a DNP Wednesday ahead of this weekend’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. If Freiermuth was forced to miss this week Zach Gentry would see the bulk of the tight end snaps with Kevin Rader available to back him up and play in two tight end sets.

Antonio Brown has returned to practice Wednesday, while Mike Evans (hamstring) logged a DNP ahead of the Buccaneers matchup with the Carolina Panthers. Chris Godwin is out for the year with a torn ACL, leaving Evans and Brown as the top receivers for Tampa Bay. Right now, it seems like a longshot for Evans to suit up this weekend so Brown looks like one of the best plays on the slate. Brown should see a ton of targets with Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller also available as receivers. It will be important to monitor Evans’s status as the week progresses.

Elijah Mitchell (knee) ruled out for Thursday night’s game against the Tennessee Titans. Mitchell has been progressing with the injury to his knee but will be unable to suit up once again on a short week. It will be Jeff Wilson and Deebo Samuel leading the backfield for another week against the great Titans run defense. Wilson and Samuel can both be considered on the showdown slate with Samuel having more upside due to his significant role in the passing game in addition to his work in the backfield.
As reported by: Nick WagonerCAR WR D.J. Moore (hamstring) DNP Wednesday; expected to be a game-time decision
D.J. Moore (hamstring) DNP Wednesday and is expected to be a game-time decision this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Moore has been able to play through the same injury for the past couple of weeks but seems to have aggravated it this past weekend. If he were to be unable to go, Robbie Anderson, Brandon Zylstra, and Terrace Marshall would likely be forced to step up and play a bigger role in the offense with Anderson expected to be the biggest beneficiary. We likely won’t find out about Moore’s official status till inactives are released on Sunday but it will be important to monitor his practice status the rest of the week.
As reported by: Steve ReedCAR QB Cam Newton will start Sunday and have a major role but QB Sam Darnold will also play
Cam Newton will start Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and have a major role but Sam Darnold will also play according to HC Mat Rhule. Coach Rhule will elect to go with a two QB system once again on Sunday limiting the upside of both quarterbacks. Coach Rhule didn’t go into much depth when discussing each quarterback’s role so its impossible to know exactly how the snaps will be split but one would figure Newton would see much of the goal line work and Darnold would play more if the Panthers were down by multiple scores. It was probably best to stay away from the Carolina offense regardless as they draw a tough matchup against the Buccaneers defense.
As reported by: David Newton Other tagged players: Sam DarnoldMIN RB Alexander Mattison activated from COVID list
Alexander Mattison has been activated from the COVID list ahead of this Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Mattison should return to his normal role backing up the workhorse Dalvin Cook. Mattison is not expected to see enough work to be DFS relevant and could even see some of his snaps taken away by Kene Nwagwu.
As reported by: Minnesota VikingsDEN QB Drew Lock will start Sunday
Drew Lock will start Sunday against the Las Vegas raiders according to HC Vic Fangio. Lock will draw the start with Teddy Bridgewater dealing with a concussion he suffered this past week. With lock at quarterback the Broncos pass-catchers will see a very slight downgrade in expected production with Denver likely to lean on its run game this weekend. Both Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams should see a slight increase in touches and can be considered in a decent matchup against the Las Vegas defense.
