ARI RB Chase Edmonds will be a game-time decision Monday night
Chase Edmonds will be a game-time decision Monday night when the Cardinals are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams. Edmonds is looking to make his return from injury but might have to wait another week if he is unable to be cleared by Monday. Edmonds has been practicing all week and seems to be trending in the right direction but HC Kliff Kingsbury might opt to take it all the way until game-time to make a decision. If Edmonds is able to suit up he will likely split the backfield with James Conner who has done a tremendous job filling in for Edmonds. This split would hurt both Edmonds and Conner’s value and limit their upside. If Edmonds were to be ruled out, Conner would be the lead back for the cardinals and would be one of the better options on the showdown slate. We likely won’t know Edmonds’s status until 4pm ET Monday when teams are required to announce their IR moves for MNF.
As reported by: Josh WeinfussLAC WR Mike Williams (COVID protocols) "on track" to play Sunday
Mike Williams (COVID protocols) is “on track” to play Sunday against the New York Giants according to Ian Rapoport. Williams was ruled a close contact on Monday and must continue to test negative to be able to play this weekend. If he were to play he would be one of the top options on the slate due to Keenan Allen going on the COVID list and being ruled out. If Williams were to be ruled out, Jaylen Guyton and Josh Palmer would be tremendous value options in a pass heavy offense.
As reported by: Ian RapoportTEN WR Julio Jones to be activated from IR to 53-man roster, available to play Sunday
As expected, Julio Jones will be activated from the IR to 53-man roster and will play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jones should immediately be regarded as the Titans top receiver and is expected to see a hefty target share. Due to his expected volume and price Jones can be considered in most formats as a good play. His return will limit the upside of the other Titans receivers like Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Cody Hollister, and Chester Rogers.
As reported by: Ian RapoportHOU WR Phillip Dorsett elevated from practice squad to active roster for Sunday
Phillip Dorsett has been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Dorsett is expected to serve as receiver depth for the time being and is not considered DFS relevant.

Daniel Jones and Kadarius Toney have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, while Mike Glennon, Kenny Golladay, and Sterling Shepard have been listed questionable. As expected, Daniel Jones and Kadarius Toney will both be unavailable this weekend. Most Giant beat writers believe that all players listed questionable have been trending in the right direction and will be able to suit up this weekend. With Toney out, it will likely be Golladay, Shepard, and Darius Slayton leading the receiving corps though none seem like very attractive options with Mike Glennon expected to be at the helm. UPDATE: Mike Glennon has cleared the concussion protocol and will start Sunday.

Jeff Smith has been placed on the COVID list and will miss Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Smith was expected to play a minimal role and his absence should not be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Aaron WilsonLAC WR Keenan Allen (COVID) ruled out for Sunday
As expected, Keenan Allen (COVID) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. It seems as though Mike Williams is trending in the right direction for Sunday so he should lead the Chargers receivers with Jaylen Guyton and Josh Palmer available as value options. All three can be considered in DFS contests as the Chargers take on a weak New York defense.
As reported by: Taylor BisciottiDET RB D'Andre Swift ruled out for Sunday; RB Jamaal Williams to be placed on COVID list and out Sunday; TE T.J. Hockenson listed doubtful
D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, while T.J. Hockenson has been listed doubtful. With both Swift and Williams out the backfield will be split between Godwin Igwebuike and Jermar Jefferson. Both can be considered in DFS contests based strictly on expected volume. With Hockenson likely out, Brock Wright will be the primary tight end with either Nick Eubanks or Shane Zylstra available to back him up (depending on who is elevated). Wright can also be considered in DFS contests as a value option.
As reported by: Tim Twentyman Other tagged players: Jamaal Williams, T.J. HockensonNOS WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey listed questionable for Sunday
Lil’Jordan Humphrey has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. The Saints are already fairly thin at wide receiver so this could be a huge loss. If Humphrey were to be ruled out, the recently re-signed Kenny Stills could move into the number three role with Kevin White also slated to see more snaps.
As reported by: Rich CiminiSEA RB Travis Homer listed out for Sunday
Travis Homer has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. With Homer and Adrian Peterson out, the Seattle backfield is expected to be split between Alex Collins and Rashaad Penny with DeeJay Dallas also working in. Due to the split, it is advised to avoid the Seattle backfield in DFS contests if possible.
As reported by: John BoyleLVR TE Darren Waller ruled out for Sunday
Darren Waller has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. With Waller once again forced to miss Sunday, Foster Moreau will be the primary tight end for the Raiders. Last game Moreau caught only one of his three targets for 34 yards in an underwhelming performance. Moreau would once again be considered a value option at the position but does come with some risk.
As reported by: Paul GutierrezCIN RB Joe Mixon and WR Tee Higgins listed questionable but expected to play Sunday; RB Chris Evans listed out
Joe Mixon and Tee Higgins have been listed questionable but are expected to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, while Chris Evans has been listed out. Both Mixon and Higgins are expected to be a full-go this weekend which is great news for the Bengals. If Mixon were to miss however, Samaje Perine would lead the backfield and become a tremendous value option with Trayveon Williams (with no Evans) available to back him up. If Higgins were to be ruled out, Ja’Marr chase and Tyler Boyd would become much better plays due to expected volume. It will be important to check back when inactives are released 90 minutes prior to kickoff to ensure both Mixon and Higgins are available.
As reported by: Paul Dehner Jr. Other tagged players: Tee Higgins, Chris EvansDEN RB Melvin Gordon listed questionable but expected to play Sunday; RB Mike Boone in COVID protocols
Melvin Gordon has been listed questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite Javonte Williams monster performance as the featured back this past weekend against the Chiefs, Gordon will likely return to his normal role and split the backfield with Williams. This split will hurt both backs’ values and ceilings. Mike Boone has been placed in COVID protocols and is expected to miss this weekend’s game. He was expected to serve as the third running back behind Williams and Gordon but this role will now be assumed by Damarea Crockett.
As reported by: Nick Kosmider Other tagged players: Mike BooneDAL RB Tony Pollard listed questionable for Sunday
As expected, Tony Pollard has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team and is considered a game-time decision. If Pollard were to miss this week’s game, Ezekiel Elliott could have a larger workload than normal strengthening his value with Corey Clement and the newly signed Ito Smith available to back him up. It will be important to check Pollard’s final listing on the injury report tomorrow and ultimately his game status when inactives are released 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday.
