12/10/21, 4:56 PM ET

TEN TE Tommy Hudson listed out for Sunday

Tommy Hudson has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hudson wasn’t expected to play a major role this weekend and his snaps will likely be absorbed by Geowff Swaim, Anthony Firkser, and MyCole Pruitt.

Nick Boyle

Baltimore Ravens
12/10/21, 4:52 PM ET

BAL TE Nick Boyle and FB Patrick Ricard listed questionable for Sunday; WR Miles Boykin listed doubtful

Nick Boyle and Patrick Ricard have been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, while Miles Boykin has been listed doubtful. Both Boyle and Ricard are not expected to have major roles this weekend so their potential absences are not expected to be DFS relevant. If Boyle were to miss, Josh Oliver and Eric Tomlinson would be available to back up Mark Andrews. If Ricard were to miss, the Ravens would likely forego a fullback.

Jaelon Darden

Seattle Seahawks
12/10/21, 2:56 PM ET

TBB WR Jaelon Darden (concussion) listed questionable for Sunday

Jaelon Darden (concussion) has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Darden is not expected to play a major role for the Buccaneers and if he were to miss Breshad Perriman would absorb any work he was slated to see.

Marquise Goodwin

Cleveland Browns
12/10/21, 2:53 PM ET

CHI WR Marquise Goodwin listed doubtful for Sunday; RB David Montgomery and WR Allen Robinson not listed on injury report

Marquise Goodwin has been listed doubtful for Sunday night’s game against the Green bay Packers. With Goodwin likely out, Damiere Byrd and Jakeem Grant will absorb any snaps he was slated to see making them slightly better plays on the showdown slate. Allen Robinson is set to make his return and should compete with Darnell Mooney for targets as the top two receivers for the Bears. David Montgomery is also set to play on Sunday after dealing with a myriad of injuries this week. He should be set to lead the backfield with both Khalil Herbert and Damien Williams available to back him up.

Mike Williams

Los Angeles Chargers
12/10/21, 1:56 PM ET

LAC WR Mike Williams continues to test negative, team is "optimistic" he can play Sunday

Mike Williams continues to test negative for COVID and the Chargers are “optimistic” he can play Sunday against the New York Giants. Williams was ruled a close contact on Monday and must continue to test negative to be able to play this weekend. If he were to play he would be one of the top options on the slate due to Keenan Allen going on the COVID list (though he hasn’t been officially ruled out either). If Williams were to be ruled out, Jaylen Guyton and Josh Palmer would be tremendous value options in a pass heavy offense. We likely won’t have clarity on this situation until this weekend, so stay tuned.

JD McKissic

Washington Commanders
12/10/21, 1:01 PM ET

WAS RB J.D. McKissic (concussion) and WR Curtis Samuel (groin) questionable for Sunday

J.D. McKissic (concussion) and Curtis Samuel (groin) are both considered questionable for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. McKissic seems to be trending in the right direction to play after returning to practice yesterday. He should return to his normal role complimenting Antonio Gibson in the Washington backfield, with Gibson seeing most of the early down work and McKissic playing a role in the passing game. Samuel was able to log a practice each day this week so he is also likely to be able to suit up this Sunday. He should continue in his role as a part of the passing attack with Terry McLaurin, DeAndre Carter, and Adam Humphries.

Anthony Schwartz

Miami Dolphins
12/10/21, 12:52 PM ET

CLE WR Anthony Schwartz (concussion), TE Harrison Bryant (ankle), and David Njoku (COVID) ruled out for Sunday

Anthony Schwartz (concussion), Harrison Bryant (ankle), and David Njoku (COVID) all ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. With Schwartz officially ruled out Rashard Higgins and Ja’Marcus Bradley will likely see a few more snaps as they round out the Cleveland receivers depth chart behind Jarvis Landry and Donovan Peoples-Jones. With both Bryant and Njoku ruled out, Austin Hooper becomes the lead tight end for an offense that loves targeting tight ends. He will be one of the best plays at the position this weekend and can be considered in most formats.

Davis Mills

Houston Texans
12/10/21, 12:42 PM ET

HOU QB Davis Mills will start Sunday and will be the starter going forward per HC David Culley

As expected, Davis Mills will start Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks and will be the starter going forward per HC David Culley. Culley cited the performance of Tyrod Taylor over the last three games as one of the main reasons for making this decision. Culley believes that Mills gives the Texans the best chance to win going forward while also preparing the franchise for the future. At this time it is still best to avoid playing any members of the Houston Texans offense (outside of Brandin Cooks) in DFS contests if at all possible.

D'Andre Swift

Chicago Bears
12/10/21, 12:30 PM ET

DET RB D'Andre Swift "unlikely" to play Sunday

D’Andre Swift is “unlikely” to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos per HC Dan Campbell. There was hope originally that Swift would be able to make his return after only missing one game, but that seems to be a longshot. With Swift unlikely to return, it would be Jamaal Williams once again leading the backfield with Jermar Jefferson (if available) and Godwin Igwebuike available to back him up. Williams could be considered in most formats due to expected volume even after a lackluster performance last week (17 carries for 71 yards, 1-1 receiving for 9 yards).

Tevin Coleman

San Francisco 49ers
12/10/21, 4:07 PM ET

NYJ RB Tevin Coleman and TE Trevon Wesco ruled out for Sunday; WR Elijah Moore and TE Ryan Griffin are questionable

Tevin Coleman and Trevon Wesco have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, while Elijah Moore is considered questionable. With Coleman out, Ty Johnson and recent signing Austin Walter will likely split the backfield work with La’Mical Perine available to back them both up. Johnson seems to be slated to see slightly more action and can be considered the better of the two options. With Wesco ruled out, Kenny Yeboah and Daniel Brown will likely split backup tight end duties behind Ryan Griffin (trending to be available). If Moore were to be officially ruled out, Jamison Crowder and Keelan Cole would play much larger roles in the offense and could be considered based strictly on expected volume.

Tommy Sweeney

Chicago Bears
12/10/21, 12:15 PM ET

BUF TE Tommy Sweeney ruled out for Sunday; FB Reggie Gilliam is questionable

Tommy Sweeney has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while Reggie Gilliam is considered questionable. Sweeney was not expected to play much of a role this weekend and neither is Gilliam. With Sweeney out, the Bills will likely elevate Kahale Warring or Quintin Morris to backup Dawson Knox and play in two tight end sets.

Dalvin Cook

Dallas Cowboys
12/09/21, 7:16 PM ET

MIN RB Dalvin Cook officially ACTIVE for Thursday

As expected, Dalvin Cook is officially active and will play Thursday against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a shoulder harness, and is expected to see his normal workload according to Adam Schefter. Cook will make his return just 11 days after dislocating his shoulder and will be in the same type of harness that he used in another game where he carried the ball 31 times. If this report is to be believed, Cook will need to be considered on the showdown slate as one of the top expected scoring plays. Cook’s availability saps the potential production that Alexander Mattison could have seen, making him nearly impossible to play.

Anthony McFarland

Miami Dolphins
12/09/21, 7:18 PM ET

PIT RB Anthony McFarland listed inactive for Thursday

PIT RB Anthony McFarland listed inactive for Thursday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. McFarland continues to be the odd man out in the Steelers backfield as he does not contribute on special teams like Benny Snell. Both Snell and Kalen Ballage will backup the workhorse back Najee Harris.

As reported by: Pittsburgh Steelers

Joe Burrow

Cincinnati Bengals
12/09/21, 6:24 PM ET

CIN QB Joe Burrow and WR Tee Higgins returned to practice Thursday; RB Joe Mixon (illness) and RB Chris Evans (ankle) DNP

Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins both returned to practice Thursday, while Joe Mixon (illness) and Chris Evans (ankle) logged DNPs ahead of their matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Joe Burrow is expected to start Sunday despite injuring a finger on his throwing hand. Higgins was likely taking an extra day off to manage injuries yesterday and should be ready to go in full this weekend. Mixon’s absence is a little worrisome but most players are able to return from an illness by Sunday. If Mixon were unable to play, Samaje Perine would lead the backfield and become a tremendous value option with Trayveon Williams available to back him up. It will be important to check Mixon’s final listing on the injury report released tomorrow.
