TBB WR Chris Godwin is dealing with a foot injury, status for Sunday uncertain
Chris Godwin is dealing with a foot injury and his status for Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team is uncertain according to HC Bruce Arians. Antonio Brown and Robert Gronkowski are already expected to be out this weekend so losing Godwin as well would be a tremendous blow. If Godwin were unable to suit up Mike Evans would become the top receiver play on the slate and would need to be considered in all formats. Tyler Johnson and the expected to be returning Scotty Miller would become great value options due to the expected volume they would be in line for. This news is crucial to follow throughout the week as it could drastically impact lineup construction in all formats across all sites.

T.Y. Hilton (concussion) has returned to practice Wednesday ahead of the Colts game against the Jacksonville jaguars on Sunday. Hilton is still in the concussion protocol though he seems to be trending in the right direction to suit up this weekend. If we is able to play he should slot back in is the number two receiver opposite Michael Pittman which would move Zach Pascal and Ashton Dulin down the depth chart. It will be important to monitor Hilton’s status throughout the week as Hilton has been effective in the games that he has played so far this season. Having said this, Hilton would probably be no more than a large field GPP play based on expected ownership and upside.

Zack Moss (concussion) won’t practice Wednesday while Dawson Knox will practice in a limited fashion ahead of the Bills game Sunday against the New York Jets. Zack Moss is still in the concussion protocol and has not been cleared to practice yet. If he were to miss this weekend Devin Singletary would get the bulk of the running back work for the Bills in a matchup they are expected to be leading for most of. Singletary would become a great value option based on expected volume. Know will make his return to practice this week after breaking his hand a few weeks ago, it seems that as long as practice goes well he should be in line to play this Sunday. Knox was really coming into his own at the time of his injury so it will be interesting to see if he can continue his ascent to becoming one of the top tight ends in the league.

Mike White has been named the starter for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills while Zach Wilson will take another week to rest according to HC Robert Saleh. Mike White has looked tremendous in the 1 and a quarter or so games he has played so far this season and will get the nod this weekend in a very difficult matchup with the Buffalo Bills. White seems to have had success relying on checkdowns to his backs making Michael Carter and Ty Johnson better plays based on expected involvement in the passing game. There also seems to be a connection between rookie Elijah Moore and White though the expected return of Corey Davis could change this. White is best saved for large entry GPPs and only a few entries at that.

As expected after being unprotected on the practice squad yesterday, Jordan Howard has been signed to the active roster by the Eagles ahead of their matchup against the Denver Broncos. Jordan Howard has been impressive so far in Miles Sanders absence and has earned a role going forward on the 53-man roster. Howard will likely continue getting early down and goal line work with Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell also mixing in. Howard is extremely touchdown dependent due to his lack of presence in the passing game but so far that hasn’t deterred him from being DFS relevant. We will see if this continues Sunday but it doesn’t seem very sustainable.
As reported by: Ian RapoportCAR QB Sam Darnold (shoulder) likely to miss "several weeks", PJ Walker expected to start
Sam Darnold is likely to miss “several weeks” with a fractured scapula, PJ Walker is expected to start this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. All pieces of the Carolina offense will take a hit to their expected production. The main pieces being Christian McCaffrey and D.J. Moore, McCaffrey is likely to still be used in a limited fashion as he continues to work his way back from injury and D.J. Moore will take a hit with a less capable quarterback. P.J. Walker himself does offer some rushing upside but draws a very difficult matchup with the Cardinals defense.

Denzel Mims has been placed on the COVID list ahead of the Jets matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Mims is vaccinated and would be eligible to play this weekend if he could test negative twice before the game. If he is unable to do so, Braxton Berrios or Jeff Smith could be in line to see the snaps that Mims would have seen. Mims, Berrios, and Smith are not expected to be DFS relevant.

Ja’Marcus Bradley has been signed to the active roster for the Browns ahead of their matchup with the New England Patriots this Sunday. Bradley is expected to serve as receiver depth and was signed to fill up the 5th receiver spot that was open once Odell Beckham Jr. was released last week. Bradley is not expected to be DFS relevant at this time.

Greg Zuerlein has been placed on the COVID list as of Tuesday. As of now, the Cowboys do not have another kicker on the roster and are holding a workout tomorrow to see who would kick Sunday versus the Falcons if Zuerlein is unable to play.
As reported by: David HelmanBUF WR Jake Kumerow placed on COVID list
Jake Kumerow has been placed on COVID list as of Tuesday. Though Kumerow isn’t expected to be DFS relevant it is worth noting that four Buffalo Bills are now on the COVID list, two receiver and two quarterbacks. It will be important to monitor the situation in Buffalo to see if any more bigger names are eventually added to the list.
As reported by: Adam SchefterBAL RB Latavius Murray DNP Tuesday; WR Sammy Watkins returned to practice and "should be ready to play Thursday"
Latavius Murray logged a DNP Tuesday while Sammy Watkins returned to practice and “should be ready to play Thursday” when the Ravens are scheduled to take on the Miami Dolphins. It will be important to monitor Murray’s status ahead of Thursday night’s game as he attempts to return from an ankle injury. If Murray were to miss Devonta Freeman, Le’Veon Bell, and Ty’Son Williams would continue to split the backfield work. With Watkins set to return, he should slot back into the number three wide receiver role for the Ravens behind Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman. Watkins warrants consideration for the showdown slate due to his big play ability, one big touchdown catch could set him up to be in the optimal lineup.

Nick Chubb and Demetric Felton have both tested positive for COVID leaving their status for Sunday when the Browns are set to take on the New England Patriots in question. Both are vaccinated and would need to test negative two times before their game on Sunday to be eligible to play. If they are unable to do so D’Ernest Johnson would lead the backfield as he is currently the only healthy running back available for Cleveland. Johnson would be a tremendous value play, especially after his numbers the last time he led the Browns backfield (146 rush yards, 22 receiving yards on 2 receptions, 1 touchdown).

Josh Reynolds and Tory Carter have been listed inactive for the Sunday night game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Tennessee Titans. Josh Reynolds was expected to serve as receiver depth so his absence shouldn’t matter much, if anything Chester Rogers should serve as the fifth wide receiver with no competition now. Tory Carter has been dealing with an injury and the Titans decided to just forego the fullback position and have Jeremy McNichols, Adrian Peterson, and D’Onta Foreman split snaps in the backfield.

As expected, Elijah Mitchell, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Jeff Wilson all active Sunday againt the Arizona Cardinals while Trey Sermon has been listed inactive. Samuel is expected to continue in his role as the top receiver for the 49ers and should see a heavy workload, though if he were to be limited Brandon Aiyuk could take over this role and merits consideration in tournament lineups. Elijah Mitchell is expected to continue to lead the backfield but with the return of Jeff Wilson, will likely see his role diminish some. With both Wilson and Hasty back the 49ers backfield could become a committee making all members less appealing. It is unsurprising that Sermon is the odd man out and will be inactive. The returning Kittle will instantly slot back in as the top tight end for San Francisco sending Charlie Woerner and Ross Dwelley back down the depth chart, though he is expected to be limited today and only play about half of the snaps.
