ARI QB Kyler Murray, WR DeAndre Hopkins, and RB Jonathan Ward not seen at practice Thursday
Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and Jonathan Ward all not seen at practice Thursday ahead of their Sunday divisional matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Murray is still expected to be a game-time decision on Sunday even if he is unable to log any practices this week. The same is likely true for Hopkins as he has only missed two games his entire career despite dealing with a slew of injuries. Jonathan Ward is not DFS relevant and if he were to miss, any carries that he would have seen would be absorbed by either Chase Edmonds or James Conner.

Dak Prescott is expected to practice fully Thursday while CeeDee Lamb will be limited and Blake Jarwin will not practice. Dak Prescott looks to be a full go for Sunday and is expected to start when the Cowboys are set to take on the Denver Broncos. Lamb injured his ankle at practice yesterday and will be limited Thursday but is still expected to be fine by Sunday. If he were to be limited, Amari Cooper could see more targets as well as the returning Michael Gallup. Jarwin is trending towards not playing this weekend and his role will likely be assumed by the returning Sean McKeon, though for the time-being the Dallas tight end to consider rostering remains Dalton Schultz.

Odell Beckham Jr. has been excused from practice again on Thursday ahead of the Browns game Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns and OBJ are still talking and are trying to mend fences after the trade deadline but it is starting to look pretty grim for OBJ’s chances of playing this weekend. With Beckham likely out, Jarvis Landry (dealing with a knee injury) would be the top receiver with Donovan Peoples-Jones and Rashad Higgins also seeing more snaps. It is also likely that the three tight ends Austin Hooper, David Njoku, and Harrison Bryant could see some more usage and targets with OBJ off the field. All pass-catchers should be expected to see a slight bump if OBJ were to be officially ruled out for this weekend.
As reported by: Mike GarafoloNYJ RB Tevin Coleman ruled out for Thursday; WR Corey Davis listed doubtful; TE Trevon Wesco not listed on injury report
Tevin Coleman has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts while Corey Davis has been listed as doubtful. Coleman’s role has steadily decreased as Michael Carter and Ty Johnson have emerged this season, so Coleman’s absence should not be too DFS relevant. Carter and Johnson should continue to see the bulk of the work and La’Mical Perine will see whatever touches are left. With Davis likely out, Jamison Crowder, Keelan Cole, and Denzel Mims should lead the receiving corps for the Jets and see the majority of the targets. Trevon Wesco was not listed on the injury report and should serve as the third tight end behind Tyler Kroft and Ryan Griffin, he is not expected to be DFS relevant outside of a dart throw punt play on the showdown slate.

AJ Green has been placed on the COVID-19 list due to a positive test ahead of the Cardinals’ matchup with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. It is not yet known if Green is vaccinated, if he is he could potentially be cleared to play if he tests negative twice (separated by 24 hours) prior to the game on Sunday. If Green is unable to play Christian Kirk, Rondale Moore, and Zach Ertz could see some more snaps and targets while DeAndre Hopkins (if available) should be Kyler Murray’s (Murray is day-to-day with an ankle injury) primary target. Kirk and Moore could become very good value options in the event that Green is forced to miss. Demetrius Harris is also questionable to play on Sunday due to a positive test but his absence would not be relevant for DFS contests.

Matthew Stafford (back) and Robert Woods (foot) will not practice Wednesday but are still fully expected to play Sunday night against the Tennessee Titans according to HC Sean McVay. This missed practice should be considered more akin to a veteran rest day as both players nurse their respective injuries after getting banged up last Sunday. Both players are expected to be a full go by Sunday and should slot into their normal roles. Both Stafford and Woods should be considered for the showdown slate against a susceptible Tennessee secondary.

James Robinson (heel) logged a DNP Wednesday ahead of the Jaguars matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Robinson is currently listed as day-to-day so his status remains up in the air for this weekend. If he is unable to suit up Carlos Hyde would lead the backfield with Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo available to back him up. It would feel awful to do, but Hyde would need to be considered as a value option based on expected volume in a tough matchup this Sunday. This situation will need to be monitored throughout the week.
As reported by: Jacksonville JaguarsBUF WR Cole Beasley (ribs) DNP Wednesday
Cole Beasley (ribs) logs a DNP Wednesday ahead of the Bills game against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday. It is too early in the week to be concerned about a veteran missing a practice due to a rib injury but if Beasley is unable to suit up this weekend Emmanuel Sanders and Gabriel Davis could be in line to see increased targets and should see their potential value increase. It will be important to monitor this situation as the week progresses.
As reported by: Buffalo BillsSFO WR Deebo Samuel and RB Elijah Mitchell DNP Wednesday; TE George Kittle, RB Jeff Wilson Jr., and K Robbie Gould all returned to practice
Deebo Samuel and Elijah Mitchell logged DNPs Wednesday while George Kittle, Jeff Wilson Jr., and Robbie Gould all returned to practice ahead of the 49ers matchup with the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday. Samuel aggravated his calf injury last game but Coach Shanahan still fully expects him to play this weekend. Mitchell is dealing with a rib injury and it is too early to tell at this point if he will be available on Sunday. If he were to miss JaMychal Hasty and Trey Sermon would be expected to lead the backfield (the returning Jeff Wilson is not expected to be ready by Sunday). Kittle is expected to be available this Sunday and should immediately slot back in as a difference making tight end for the 49ers. Robbie Gould is also expected to be ready by Sunday and should handle the kicking duties going forward.

Taysom Hill returned to practice on Wednesday but it is unclear if he has cleared the concussion protocol fully at this time. It still seems as though Hill is in line to make his first start at quarterback this season on Sunday when the Saints take on the Atlanta Falcons. Hill would be an interesting option for DFS due to his rushing upside and touchdown potential. If Hill is cleared he should be considered in most formats with a good matchup this weekend.
As reported by: Kat TerrellDAL TE Sean McKeon has officially been activated to the 53-man roster from IR
DAL TE Sean McKeon has officially been activated to the 53-man roster from IR and will be eligible to play this Sunday against the Denver Broncos. McKeon is expected to serve as the third tight end behind Dalton Schultz and Blake Jarwin (questionable) and should not be considered DFS relevant at this point.
As reported by: Michael GehlkenLVR TE Darren Waller returns to practice Wednesday
Darren Waller returned to practice on Wednesday and will likely be available this Sunday against the New York Giants after missing last game with an ankle injury. Waller should be in line to see a massive target share (possibly even more than he is accustomed to because the Raiders will be without Henry Ruggs) and will be one of the top tight end options on the slate. Waller can be considered in most formats.
As reported by: Tashan ReedCAR RB Christian McCaffrey and QB Sam Darnold both limited in practice Wednesday, availability for Sunday in question; WR Terrace Marshall returned to practice
Christian McCaffrey and Sam Darnold both practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday and Coach Rhule said that their availability for Sunday is still in question. If McCaffrey is unable to go this weekend it will once again be Chuba Hubbard leading the backfield with Ameer Abdullah and Royce Freeman available to back him up. Darnold is still in concussion protocol and if he were unable to go P.J. Walker would draw the start at quarterback. Terrace Marshall has returned to practice and should slot back into his role as the number three wide receiver behind D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson.
As reported by: Mike Giardi Other tagged players: Sam Darnold, Terrace MarshallPHI WR Jalen Reagor (ankle) DNP Wednesday
Jalen Reagor logged a DNP Wednesday due to a sprained ankle ahead of the Eagles matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. Coach Sirriani earlier in the week expressed his optimism that Reagor would be available this weekend so this was likely just an extra day of rest. However if Reagor is unable to suit up, Devonta Smith and Quez Watkins would likely see increased targets as well as Dallas Goedert strengthening the potential value of these players.
As reported by: Dave ZangaroBAL RB Latavius Murray (ankle) and WR Sammy Watkins (thigh) DNP Wednesday
Both Latavius Murray and Sammy Watkins logged DNPs Wednesday but the hope is that they will be available this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Watkins is trying to return from a thigh injury and would likely slot into the number three wide receiver role behind Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman. If he were unable to suit up this role would continue to be played by Devin Duvernay. Murray is also trying to return this week to reclaim his role as the top running back in the Ravens committee. If he were unable to return Devonta Freeman, Le’Veon Bell and Ty’Son Williams would continue to split the work.
