NYG RB Saquon Barkley, WR Kenny Golladay, WR Dante Pettis, and WR Sterling Shepard DNP Wednesday; WR Kadarius Toney and TE Kaden Smith limited
Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, Dante Pettis, and Sterling Shepard all log DNPs Wednesday while Kadarius Toney and Kaden Smith were limited ahead of the Giants matchup Sunday with the Las Vegas Raiders. Barkley has tested positive for COVID-19 so his status is uncertain for Sunday, Devontae Booker would continue to lead the backfield if Barkley is unable to play. Golladay, Pettis, Toney, and Smith seem to a least have a chance to play this weekend while Shepard has all but been ruled out. The Giants look like they will be thin once again at receiver meaning whoever does suit up will provide some increased value based on expected volume.

J.J. Koski has been signed to the Rams’ active roster from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. After the Rams released DeSean Jackson and Tutu Atwell was placed on IR they were thin at receiver so Koski is being signed to provide depth. He is not expected to be DFS relevant at this point.
As reported by: Doug KyedARI QB Kyler Murray (ankle) DNP Wednesday, likely to be a game-time decision Sunday
Kyler Murray (ankle) logged a DNP Wednesday and potentially might not practice at all this week, Coach Kingsbury stated that even if this is the case he will likely to be a game-time decision Sunday when the Cardinals are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers. If Murray is unable to suit up, Colt McCoy would draw the start and all members of the Arizona Cardinals offense would take a slight hit to their projections. If Murray is able to suit up he will likely be limited in some fashion and would lack some of his explosivity, losing much of his rushing upside. This will be an important situation to monitor but we likely won’t know Kyler’s status until inactives are released at 2:55 ET on Sunday (he plays in the latest game on the main slate).
As reported by: Darren UrbanNYG RB Saquon Barkley tests positive for COVID-19
Saquon Barkley has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the Giants matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Barkley is vaccinated so would only need to test negative twice before Sunday’s game (separated by 24 hours) but even if he accomplishes this his status is uncertain as he is still dealing with an ankle injury. If Barkley were to miss another game Sunday Devontae Booker would once again lead the Giants backfield with Elijhaa Penny set to back him up.
As reported by: Ralph VacchianoCLE WR Jarvis Landry (knee) and WR Odell Beckham Jr. (personal) DNP Wednesday; WR Donovan Peoples-Jones returns to practice
Jarvis Landry (knee) logged a DNP Wednesday ahead of the Browns matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday. It is still early in the week but if Landry were to miss Odell Beckham Jr. (questionable due to a personal matter), Donovan Peoples-Jones, and Rashard Higgins would be the top receivers for the Browns. the Cleveland tight ends would also likely see a few more targets come their way giving a boost to Austin Hooper, David Njoku, and Harrison Bryant.

Aaron Rodgers has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be out Sunday, Jordan Love is currently the only healthy Green Bay quarterback and is expected to start against the Kansas City Chiefs. Rodgers, who is unvaccinated according to reports, will be forced to miss at least this Sunday’s game so Jordan Love will be in line to draw the start and all subsequent starts until Rodgers can test negative after the mandatory 10 day isolation period is over. The Packers offense will take a hit but Love can be considered a value option at quarterback with rushing upside in a good matchup. Stay tuned as more Packers players could test positive (especially after Rodgers’s Halloween party this past weekend).
As reported by: Tom PelisseroNOS WR Michael Thomas out for season
Michael Thomas has been ruled out for season with an ankle injury. The Saints receiver originally believed he would be able to return at some point this season but due to a setback in his rehab that will not be the case. Unless the Saints are able to acquire some outside help they will be left with Marquez Callaway, Tre’Quan Smith, and Deonte Harris leading their receiving corps as they look to fight for a playoff spot.
As reported by: Adam SchefterWR Henry Ruggs officially released by Las Vegas Raiders
Henry Ruggs has officially been released by the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders are currently down to three wide receivers on their active roster Hunter Renfrow, Bryan Edwards, and Zay Jones with Darren Waller also playing a critical role in the passing game. All of these players are likely to see an increase in targets with Waller and Renfrow continuing to dominate the majority of the targets. Edwards will likely be used as the main deep threat for the time-being. The Raiders will either be forced to elevate receivers from their practice squad (most likely Javon Wims and/or Dillon Stoner) or look to waivers to fill the extra spots on their roster (the recently released DeSean Jackson seems as though he could be a good fit).
As reported by: Las Vegas RaidersK Joey Slye waived by San Francisco 49ers
Joey Slye has been waived by the San Francisco 49ers likely meaning Robbie Gould will return from IR this week and handle the kicking duties Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
As reported by: Ian RapoportDEN TE Noah Fant placed on COVID-19 List
Noah Fant has been placed on the COVID-19 List and would need to have two negative tests separated by 24 hours in order to be eligible to play on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. If Fant is unable to do this, the recently returning Albert Okwuegbunam would likely assume the primary tight end role with Eric Saubert backing him up and playing in two tight end sets. It is also possible that Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and Tim Patrick could see more targets with Fant off the field. This will be important to monitor the rest of the week because as of now Fant’s availability is still in question.
As reported by: Field YatesWR DeSean Jackson to be released by Los Angeles Rams
After being unable to make a trade before the deadline, the Los Angeles Rams will release Desean Jackson. Jackson became unhappy with the team and asked for a trade late last week after his number 3 receiver role was taken by Van Jefferson. It seems as though the situation has become irreconcilable as even with an injury to WR Tutu Atwell and likely more playing time for Jackson, he still does not want to be a part of the Rams organization. Jackson is likely to have multiple suitors who need a burner and it shouldn’t take long for him to find a new team. His DFS relevant days are most likely behind him but he could still be a useful addition to a contender trying to make the playoffs.
As reported by: Doug KyedNYJ WR Corey Davis and RB Tevin Coleman listed as DNP on estimated practice report ahead of Thursday night; TE Trevon Wesco listed as limited
Corey Davis and Tevin Coleman were listed as DNPs on the Jets’ estimated practice report ahead of their Thursday night contest against the Indianapolis Colts. Corey Davis has been dealing with a hip injury and has yet to practice but still has a chance to suit up on Thursday. If Davis is able to play, he would immediately slot in as the Jets top receiver and would need to be considered for the showdown slate in a game the the Jets are expected to be trailing (14.5 point underdogs at the time of writing). Tevin Coleman has seen his role steadily decrease throughout the season and should only be considered as a dart throw punt option at this point if he is able to suit up. Trevon Wesco was listed as limited and would be expected to serve as tight end depth behind Tyler Kroft and Ryan Griffin. Wesco also only should be considered as a desperation dart throw punt option for the Thursday night slate.
As reported by: Brian Costello Other tagged players: Tevin Coleman, Trevon WescoTE Dan Brown will be traded to the Kansas City Chiefs from the New York Jets
Dan Brown will be traded to the Kansas City Chiefs from the New York Jets and is expected to serve as tight end depth. This move was made for financial reasons and Brown is not expected to be DFS relevant at this time.
As reported by: Tom PelisseroIND K Michael Badgley to kick on Thursday; K Rodrigo Blankenship (hip) ruled out
Michael Badgley will handle the kicking duties for the Colts again on Thursday night against the New York Jets. Rodrigo Blankenship, who is still dealing with a hip injury, has been ruled out and will miss his 4th straight game. It is also worth noting that HC Frank Reich stated that Indianapolis is unsure what they will do at the kicker position when Blankenship is available to play. Badgley can be considered for the Thursday night showdown slate in a game where (at the time of writing) the Colts are 14.5 point favorites.
As reported by: Joel Erickson Other tagged players: Rodrigo BlankenshipTEN RB Mekhi Sargent waived, RB D'Onta Foreman signed to Tennessee Titans practice squad
After signing Adrain Peterson yesterday the Titans continue to add veteran running back depth in the wake of Derrick Henry’s foot injury (6-10 week timeline for a return). The Titans went out and also signed D’Onta Foreman to their practice squad, meaning they will have Jeremy McNichols (already on active roster), Peterson (practice squad), Foreman (practice squad), and Dontrelle Hilliard (practice squad). Peterson is expected to see most of the early down work with Foreman possibly mixing in and McNichols getting most of the passing down work but it remains to be seen exactly how Titans running back situation shakes out.
