LAR TE Kendall Blanton elevated from practice squad for Sunday
Kendall Blanton has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. He is expected to serve as tight end depth and is not DFS relevant at this time.
As reported by: Jourdan RodrigueCHI RB Damien Williams has been activated from the COVID list and will be available Sunday
Damien Williams has been activated from the COVID list and will be available Sunday when the Bears are set to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Williams is expected to split time with Herbert after his strong showing last week, though they draw a much tougher matchup. The Buccaneers have been incredibly stingy against the run so far this season so both Herbert and Williams will have to be involved in the pass game if they are expected to offer any sort of value. Given the matchup and the uncertainty in the split backfield it is best to stay away from both backs in Week 7 if possible.
As reported by: Kevin FishbainIND WR Keke Coutee elevated from practice squad for Sunday
Keke Coutee has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday night when the Colts are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers. The Colts will be without Paris Campbell and T.Y. Hilton and are in need of receiver depth which led to Coutee elevation. He is not expected to see very many snaps and should only be considered as a risky punt play for the Sunday night showdown slate.
As reported by: Mike ChappellIND WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) downgraded to out for Sunday
As expected, T.Y. Hilton has been downgraded to out for Sunday night football when the Colts are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers. The Colts are now without Paris Campbell and Hilton which means the two reliable receivers left standing are Michael Pittman and Zach Pascal with Ashton Dulin expected to see extra work. Michael Pittman is likely to dominate the target share now and it wouldn’t be surprising to see more two tight end sets to get Mo Alie-Cox and Jack Doyle the ball more. This injury shakes up the Sunday night showdown slate allowing for some unique builds.
As reported by: Doug KyedWAS WR Antonio Gandy-Golden signed to active roster from practice squad
Antonio Gandy-Golden has been signed to the active roster from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s contest with the Green Bay Packers. He is expected to serve as wide receiver depth with Curtis Samuel and Cam Sims unavailable. He is not DFS relevant at this time.
As reported by: Nicki JhabvalaSEA RB Alex Collins DNP Friday; RB Rashaad Penny expected to be active Monday
Alex Collins logged a DNP Friday while Rashaad Penny returned to practice and is expected to be active Monday night against the New Orleans Saints. This marks the second straight practice that Alex Collins has missed with a groin injury and his chances of playing on Monday are steadily decreasing. If he is unable to go Rashaad Penny, Travis Homer, and DeeJay Dallas would likely all split the backfield work. At this point it is impossible to know just how Coach Pete Carroll would split the work making all three running backs risky but potentially rewarding plays on the Monday night showdown slate. It will be important to monitor the situation to see if Collins is ruled out and/or if Coach Carroll lets us know what his plans are for Monday regarding playing time or expected roles in the backfield.
As reported by: Curtis Crabtree Other tagged players: Rashaad PennyLAR RB Sony Michel has been listed questionable for Sunday but is expected to play
Sony Michel has been listed as questionable for Sunday but is expected to play against the Detroit Lions. Michel is expected to continue to serve as the backup to Darrell Henderson in the Rams backfield but both backs could be busy in a game that the Rams will likely be leading the entire time. If Michel were to be limited at all, Henderson would become an even stronger play and Gregory Howell could also see a few carries as well. Henderson is one of the top plays on the slate due to expected volume and game script and should be considered in most formats,
As reported by: Los Angeles RamsSFO QB Trey Lance ruled out for Sunday; QB Jimmy Garoppolo not on injury report; RB JaMycal Hasty will be activated for Sunday
As expected, Trey Lance has been ruled out for Sunday night, meaning Jimmy Garoppolo will start against the Indianapolis Colts. Garoppolo, who had an extra week to heal due to the bye week should be considered as one of the top options for the showdown slate. JaMycal Hasty will be activated off of the IR for Sunday and will enter the running back group for the 49ers. Coach Shanahan likes rotating running backs, and he should be able to do that with Elijah Mitchell (expected to see the most work), Hasty, and Trey Sermon available. All can be considered for the showdown slate Sunday night.
As reported by: Matt Maiocco Other tagged players: Jimmy Garoppolo, JaMycal HastyNEP RB Brandon Bolden and K Nick Folk listed questionable for Sunday
Brandon Bolden and Nick Folk have been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. If Bolden were unable to suit up it is likely that J.J. Taylor would be activated to help fill his role in the Patriots backfield while continuing to be led by Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson. Nick Folk has been listed as questionable the last few games but has been able to suit up for every single one. If he were unable to go, the newly signed Riley Patterson would need to be elevated from the practice squad to kick on Sunday
As reported by: Rich Cimini Other tagged players: Nick FolkNYJ TE Tyler Kroft has been ruled out for Sunday, RB Tevin Coleman listed questionable
Tyler Kroft has been ruled out for Sunday and Tevin Coleman has been listed as questionable With Kroft ruled out, Ryan Griffin should continue to serve as the top tight end with Daniel Brown and Trevon Wesco backing him up though none of these players are DFS relevant at the time. If Coleman were to be ruled out not much would change in the New York backfield as Michael Carter and Ty Johnson have usurped his role. They would likely split the extra work and become slightly better plays.
As reported by: Rich Cimini Other tagged players: Tevin ColemanHOU WR Nico Collins and WR Chris Conley listed as questionable for Sunday
Nico Collins and Chris Conley have been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Collins and Conley are currently the number three and number four options in the passing game for the Texans and could be missed if they were unable to suit up this weekend. If they were unable to play, it is likely that Brandin Cooks would dominate even more of the target share than he already does and Chris Moore could see more targets as well. Cooks remains the only trustworthy piece of the Texans offense and should be the only player considered in DFS contests at this point.
As reported by: Josh Weinfuss Other tagged players: Chris ConleyDET TE T.J. Hockenson and RB D'Andre Swift listed questionable for Sunday
T.J. Hockenson and D’Andre Swift have both been listed as questionable for Sunday but are expected to play when they are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams. If Hockenson were to be limited, Darren Fells would likely see some extra work, but not enough to be DFS relevant. If Swift were to be limited, Jamaal Williams would see an increased workload with Jermar Jefferson also likely to see some extra work. Both Hockenson and Swift figure to be pretty active in the passing game against a tough Rams defense this weekend.
As reported by: Detroit Lions Other tagged players: D'Andre SwiftTEN WR Julio Jones and RB Jeremy McNichols listed questionable for Sunday; WR Chester Rogers listed out; WR A.J. Brown not listed on injury report
Julio Jones and Jeremy McNichols have been listed as questionable for Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs while Chester Rogers has been ruled out. If Julio Jones were to miss it is likely that Marcus Johnson and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine would see expanded roles (even more so than they are already expected to see with Rogers ruled out) and could become viable value options. If McNichols were to miss it is likely that Darrynton Evans would be activated to fill his role as Derrick Henry’s backup. A.J. Brown was not listed on the injury report after battling a bout of food poisoning and should be good to go on Sunday in his normal role as the Titans top receiver.
As reported by: Jim Wyatt Other tagged players: Jeremy McNichols, Chester Rogers, A.J. BrownKCC WR Tyreek Hill listed questionable for Sunday but expected to play; RB Michael Burton listed out
Tyreek Hill has been listed questionable for Sunday but is expected to play when the Chiefs are set to take on the Tennessee Titans. Hill is expected to be able to suit up but if he were to be limited in any way Travis Kelce, Mecole Hardman, and Demarcus Robinson would be the most likely candidates to see extra targets. Hill should still be considered for DFS as he is playing in a game that is expected to be high scoring and even if he is limited, can rack up the points due to how explosive he is with the ball in his hands.
As reported by: Kansas City Chiefs Other tagged players: Michael BurtonMIA WR DeVante Parker and WR Preston Williams listed questionable for Sunday
DeVante Parker and Preston Williams have been listed as questionable for Sunday when the Dolphins are set to take on the Atlanta Falcons. Parker and Williams are both looking to return after missing last game and should slot back into their normal roles. Parker would be the top receiving option across from Jaylen Waddle and Williams would return to playing the WR3 role. If they were to miss Waddle would see a large increase in targets along with Mike Gesicki both becoming much better plays.
