BAL RB Latavius Murray and WR Sammy Watkins ruled out for Sunday
Latavius Murray and Sammy Watkins have been ruled out for Sunday when the Ravens are set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. Watkins was expected to be out meaning the Ravens’ top pass catchers should be Marquise Brown, Mark Andrews, and Rashod Bateman with Bateman being an intriguing value option. With Murray ruled out the backfield should be led by Devonta Freeman but Le’Veon Bell and Ty’Son Williams are also expected to see work. This seems to be the case every week at this point but it is best to avoid Baltimore running backs if at all possible (which it should be) in DFS contests.

T.Y. Hilton will be listed as questionable but is not expected to play Sunday night when the Colts are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers. The Colts are now without Paris Campbell and likely Hilton which means the two reliable receivers left standing are Michael Pittman and Zach Pascal with Ashton Dulin and Mike Strachan also expected to see work. Michael Pittman is likely to dominate the target share now and it wouldn’t be surprising to see more two tight end sets to get Mo Alie-Cox and Jack Doyle the ball more. This injury shakes up the Sunday night showdown slate allowing for some unique builds.
As reported by: Stephen HolderPHI TE Dallas Goedert not listed on injury report, expected to play Sunday
As expected, Dallas Goedert has not been listed on the injury report, and is expected to play Sunday when the Eagles are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders. Goedert, who is returning from the COVID list, is now the number one tight end with no real competition in Philadelphia after the Eagles traded away Zach Ertz to the Arizona Cardinals last week. Goedert now slots in as the Eagles’ second best pass catcher behind DeVonta Smith, and should be considered in DFS contests going forward and especially this week in a matchup where the Eagles could be forced to throw the ball if they fall behind early.
As reported by: Philadelphia EaglesCHI WR Allen Robinson, WR Jakeem Grant, and TE J.P. Holtz listed questionable for Sunday; TE Jimmy Graham to be placed on COVID list
Allen Robinson, Jakeem Grant, and J.P. Holtz listed questionable for Sunday when the Bears are set to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Allen Robinson is expected to play and serve as the top option for Justin Fields opposite Darnell Mooney in what should be a pass-heavy attack for the Bears. Jakeem Grant is expected to serve primarily as a return man and J.P Holtz should serve as the third tight end behind Cole Kmet and Jesse James (with Jimmy Graham now on the COVID list). Neither Grant nor Holtz are expected to be DFS relevant.

As expected, Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, and Kadarius Toney have been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup with the Carolina Panthers. Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, John Ross, and Evan Engram are considered questionable. Devontae Booker is likely set to lead the Giants’ backfield once again Sunday with Elijhaa Penny and Gary Brightwell available to back him up. Booker was able to rush for 41 yards on 12 carries last Sunday and caught all 4 of his targets for an additional 28 yards in a tough matchup with the Los Angeles Rams and can be considered a value option again this week. Shepard is expected to garner a large target share (if available) with Slayton expected to serve as the number two option (again, if available). Ross and Dante Pettis are also expected to mix in, though Shepard is the primary DFS target based on his expected volume in a matchup where the Giants are likely going to need to pass the ball to have any success.

Terrace Marshall and Gio Ricci have been listed as out for Sunday while Alex Erickson is considered questionable for when the Carolina Panthers are set to take on the New York Giants. All three players are in different stages of the concussion protocol and earlier in the week Coach Rhule stated that Shi Smith would probably end up serving in the WR3 role for the Panthers this week due to these injuries. The receiving corps will continue to be led by D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson though Moore is the only member that can be played with any level of confidence in DFS at this point. The Panthers are expected to be playing with a lead against a Giants’ squad that is dealing with its own slew of injuries and Chuba Hubbard could play a prominent role in the offense as the Panthers’ primary running back, who is also worth considering in DFS contests.
As reported by: Steve Reed Other tagged players: Giovanni Ricci, Alex EricksonWAS WR Curtis Samuel and WR Cam Sims ruled out for Sunday; RB Antonio Gibson listed questionable
Curtis Samuel and Cam Sims have been ruled out for Sunday while Antonio Gibson is considered questionable for when the Washington Football Team is set to take on the Green Bay Packers. Curtis Samuel and Cam Sims have been dealing with injuries and will miss two straight games now, meaning an increased workload for Dyami Brown and Adam Humphries while Terry McLaurin remains the clear top receiving option for Washington. Antonio Gibson is still dealing with a shin issue and will be a game-time decision, if he were unable to go J.D. McKissic and Jaret Patterson will see more work with Patterson expected to handle much of the early down work with McKissic handling the passing downs. The Packers should be leading in this game so Washington is expected to be forced to throw the ball more making those involved in the passing game better plays.

Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski have both been ruled out for Sunday by Coach Bruce Arians ahead of their matchup with the Chicago Bears. Antonio Brown has been dealing with a sprained ankle and will be unable to go this weekend, likely meaning more targets and usage for Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. It is also possible that Tyler Johnson could see some more looks in three wide receiver sets and could offer some potential value. Rob Gronkowski will remain out another week as he is still dealing with the injury to his ribs, meaning it will be another week of O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate playing the tight end position with Howard seeing the bulk of the targets. Howard remains a decent value play and can be considered if spending down at tight end this week.

OBJ was officially active after going through warmups and will play against the Broncos. This is the first game that he and Jarvis Landry will both play, so the passing attack will hope to work with Case Keenum, as Mayfield won’t be able to play. OBJ’s active status will hurt Donovan Peoples-Jones, Rashard Higgins, and Anthony Schwartz as the ancillary options.
As reported by: Doug Kyed via TwitterDEN QB Teddy Bridgewater officially active Thursday; RB Mike Boone inactive
As expected, Teddy was cleared to play and will start against the Browns. A mild surprise was that Mike Boone was inactive; he had taken a few carries from Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon last game, but now a slight up tick to Gordon and Boone can be expected; they’ll split the backfield 50/50.
As reported by: Doug Kyed via TwitterCHI RB Damien Williams remains on COVID list
According to Schefter, Williams remains on the COVID-19 list since he is unvaccinated, and had a positive test the past Wednesday. This makes the timeline for the Bears tricky as they prepare to play the TB Buccaneers. The earliest Williams could be cleared is Saturday, which would be the tenth day of being on the list. The Bucs rush defense has been stellar all year, and the Bears had no problem trusting Khalil Herbert last week, so even if he is cleared, it may be difficult to see a path to fantasy relevance for Williams. If he misses, Herbert would be in DFS consideration due to his still cheap salary, but the matchup along with the projected game script make him one of the tougher players to trust.
As reported by: Adam Schefter via TwitterTB WR Antonio Brown and TE Rob Gronkowski both DNP again Thursday; TE O.J. Howard upgraded to limited
The Bucs offense has been rolling, but it remains to be seen who’s out there against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Gronk and Brown both missed their second straight practice Sunday; Gronk’s been dealing with a rib issue for the last few weeks, while AB turned his ankle this past Thursday. Both players are looking closer to doubtful, but tomorrow’s practice may clear that up. Howard was able to get in a limited session after having a DNP yesterday, so he should be on track to play and would be viable as a cheap TE if Gronk does indeed end up sitting. If Brown sits, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin would be even greater plays due to the target tree condensing, while Tyler Johnson would likely be the WR3 but would be tough to trust as Brady has many other options to choose from.
As reported by: Greg Auman via Twitter Other tagged players: Rob Gronkowski, O.J. HowardLV WR Henry Ruggs and WR Bryan Edwards practice fully Thursday
Both Vegas WRs were limited yesterday, but were upgraded to full practices ahead of their game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Barring an unexpected setback, Ruggs and Edwards shoul be good to play outside, while Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller man the middle portion of the field.
As reported by: Vic Tafur via Twitter Other tagged players: Bryan EdwardsIND WR T.Y. Hilton DNP again Thursday
Hilton missed his second straight practice with a quad issue as the Colts prepare for Sunday Night Football against the SF 49ers. Hilton has said himself that he feels “50-50” for the game, which is certainly an ominous warning as usually players are more optimistic than the coaching staff. Hilton is known as one of the veterans who can go through weeks of not practicing and be perfectly fine for the game, but this year has been rough as he missed the first weeks due to injury. If he ends up sitting, it’ll be work for Michael Pittman (who’s currently the WR1 with or without Hilton). Zach Pascal would play more also. The Colts lost Parris Campbell for quite some time, so Hilton’s injury has even more impact on the upcoming showdown slate.
As reported by: the Indianapolis Colts via Team WebsiteTEN WR A.J. Brown and WR Chester Rogers DNP again Thursday; WR Julio Jones upgraded to LP
The Titans had three WRs listed on their injury report, with some mixed news as they prepare to play the high-octane Kansas City Chiefs. The good news is that Julio was able to get in a limited session; he was able to play the last game, but left midway due to his hamstring bothering him. He’s been able to play in previous years without practice, so this may mean he gives it a go. Brown has been dealing with some severe food poisoning (shout out to Chipotle), but despite his second straight DNP, it still feels as if he will play and he’s just taking it easy. Rogers has been dealing with a groin issue, and his may cause him to sit out. The Titans lost Cameron Batson for the year last week, so their depth at WR would be short behind Julio and Brown. Marcus Johnson and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine would be the next men up, although they’d be impossible to trust if Julio and Brown are both cleared.
