CHI QB Andy Dalton downgraded to doubtful, QB Justin Fields will start Sunday
Andy Dalton has officially been downgraded to doubtful and the Bears announced that Justin Fields will start Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Dalton is still dealing with an injury and is not ready to go just yet so Fields will get another chance at the helm for the Bears after an awful performance last week against the Browns where he was sacked 9 times and only completed 6 of his 20 pass attempts for 68 yards. This week he has a much better matchup facing the Lions and hopefully Coach Matt Nagy has a gameplan tailored specifically for Fields. Fields is an intriguing DFS option due to his price (5.2k on DK) and his rushing floor combined with his potential ceiling. Fields can be considered in nearly all formats.

As expected, N’Keal Harry has been activated from IR and is eligible to play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is expected to serve as WR4 behind Jakobi Meyers, Nelson Agholor, and Kendrick Bourne. Harry can be considered as a risky value option for the showdown slate on Sunday night.

Codey McElroy has been elevated from the practice squad and is eligible to play on Sunday against the New England Patriots. McElroy will serve as the third tight end behind Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard and is not expected to be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Aaron WilsonBAL RB Le'Veon Bell activated from practice squad
Le’Veon Bell has been activated from the practice squad and is expected to make his season debut for the Ravens on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. There are many questions surrounding the backfield for the Ravens now that they have four active running backs (Bell, Ty’Son Williams, Latavius Murray, and Devonta Freeman). It remains to be seen if Williams continues to be the lead back or if Murray or Bell supplants him. It also seems unlikely that the Ravens have all four backs active so Freeman most likely will be the odd man out. The Baltimore backfield looks to be a committee and an area to avoid in DFS for the time being.

Ryan Santoso has been elevated from the practice squad and should handle the kicking duties Sunday when the Lions are set to take on the Chicago Bears.
As reported by: Detroit LionsDAL WR Malik Turner has been activated from IR; TE Jeremy Sprinkle and RB Nick Ralston elevated from practice squad
Malik Turner has been activated from IR while Jeremy Sprinkle and Nick Ralston have been elevated from the practice squad making them all eligible to play on Sunday. Turner should provide receiver depth while Sprinkle should serve as the third tight end. None of these players look to be DFS relevant this week.
As reported by: Calvin Watkins Other tagged players: Jeremy Sprinkle, Nick RalstonSEA TE Colby Parkinson activated from IR; RB Rashaad Penny placed on IR; WR Cody Thompson elevated to active roster
Colby Parkinson has been activated from IR and is expected to play Sunday while Rashaad Penny has officially been placed on IR meaning he will miss the next 3 games at least. Colby Parkinson was expected to be back this week and it looks like he should see some playing time with Gerald Everett still going through COVID protocols. The TE snaps should be split between Parkinson and Will Dissly. With Penny officilaly placed on IR, Chris Carson will continue to lead the backfield with Alex Collins serving as his backup. WR Cody Thompson has been elevated to the active roster to serve as wide receiver depth with D’Wayne Eskridge expected to be out but is not DFS relevant.

Josh Jacobs will officially be listed as questionable for Monday when the Raiders are set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. Coach Gruden says he plans on seeing how Jacobs feels Monday prior to the game before making a final decision on whether Jacobs (who has missed the last two games) will play. If he were to miss Peyton Barber would see the majority of the rushing work and Kenyan Drake would be the passing down back. Barber rushed 23 times for 111 yards and a touchdown last week while Drake saw 8 carries for 24 yards but did catch 3 of his 6 targets. Jacobs status will be important to monitor prior to Monday night’s kickoff.
As reported by: Paul GutierrezPIT WR Cody White elevated from practice squad
Cody White has been elevated from the practice squad for the Steelers ahead of their game with the Green Bay Packers. This was the expected move when Chase Claypool was ruled out earlier in the day with a hamstring injury. White should serve as wide receiver depth and is not DFS relevant.
As reported by: Aaron WilsonNYG WR John Ross expected to make season debut Sunday after being activated off IR
John Ross is expected to make season debut Sunday after being activated off IR. He will provide much needed depth for the Giants receiving corps as they will be without Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton this Sunday when they take on the New Orleans Saints. Ross is expected to serve as WR3 for New York behind Kenny Golladay and Colin Johnson and should probably only be considered as part of a Giants stack as there are other value wide receiver options to be had.
As reported by: Pat LeonardPIT WR Chase Claypool (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday
Chase Claypool has been downgraded and ruled out for Sunday with a hamstring injury. The wide receiver corps for the Steelers just can’t seem to get healthy after missing Diontae Johnson last week and this week being without Claypool. Johnson and JuJu Smith-Schuster should feature prominently this week and it is likely James Washington will retain the WR3 role for Pittsburgh at least for another week. Ray-Ray McCloud and Cody White could see some snaps but should not be considered for DFS purposes. The Steelers will look to get back on track Sunday when they take on the Green Bay Packers.
As reported by: Jenna HarnerTBB TE Rob Gronkowski ruled out for Sunday
Rob Gronkowski will not travel to New England and has officially been ruled out for Sunday. Cameron Brate is the biggest winner here, as he’s run 53 routes on the year compared to O.J. Howard’s 13. Both TEs will be behind the Bucs big three WRs (Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and the returning Antonio Brown). Brate should be viewed as a value option for the Sunday night showdown slate and he should see some opportunities to contribute.
As reported by: Adam SchefterSEA WR Tyler Lockett (hip) isted questionable for Sunday; WR D'Wayne Eskridge (concussion) listed doubtful; RB Rashaad Penny (calf) ruled out
A huge question mark for the DFS slate will be Lockett, who was banged up last week due to a hip injury and was listed as questionable. Eskridge isn’t expected to play either, so if Lockett sits, it could be thin behind D.K. Metcalf. Freddie Swain would be the second receiver likely, but Phillip Dorsett was signed to the practice squad and could be elevated if needed. Penny will sit once again, so Carson will be the main back, with Travis Homer and Alex Collins mixing in to spell Carson as needed. Metcalf would be one of the more popular plays if Lockett sits, and even if he plays should be counted on against a 49ers defense that has been struggling due to their decimated secondary.
As reported by: John Boyle via Twitter Other tagged players: D'Wayne Eskridge, Rashaad PennyDEN RB Melvin Gordon (ribs/lower leg) listed questionable Sunday
Gordon was listed as questionable due to a combination of a rib and lower leg injury, as the Broncos prepare to play the Ravens. Gordon did get in three limited practice this week, so he’s far closer to probable than questionable. Should he sit, Javonte Williams would likely get the entire backfield to himself, with Mike Boone chipping away.
As reported by: Nick Kosmider via TwitterSF TE George Kittle (calf) and RB Elijah Mitchell (shoulder) listed questionable for Sunday
The 49ers have two big question marks ahead of their divisional clash against the Seattle Seahawks. Kittle was listed as questionable with a calf injury, while Mitchell was questionable due to a shoulder injury. Both players were able to get in practice reps on Friday, which is always a good sign for their availability. Kittle has missed plenty of games due to injury throughout his career, but has also played through them, so his status may be determined right before the game; it’s in the later afternoon window unfortunately. As for Mitchell, if he ends up sitting it’ll likely be Trey Sermon again as the lead rusher, although it’s difficult to trust him knowing he only carried the ball 10 times last week as the “lead dog”. Mitchell would likely start if he plays, but the situation is certainly murky. If Kittle sits, it’s more likely the targets flow to Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, although Ross Dwelley could be a potential punt tight end.
