LV RB Josh Jacobs a game-time decision Monday
Jacobs is a game-time decision for tonight’s game against the Chargers, according to Schefter. Jacobs has missed the last two games due to his ankle injury, and Peyton Barber has carried the load in his absence. Kenyan Drake’s role likely will be unchanged regardless of Jacobs as he’s the complimentary back. Jacobs would be a good play against a Chargers defense that begs teams to run, but pre-game warmups will give us information on his status.
As reported by: Adam Schefter via TwitterNE RB Rhamondre Stevenson inactive Sunday
Stevenson is a healthy scratch for the Patriots; despite them not having James White, they’ll elect to keep him out. It’ll be Damien Harris on early downs still, while J.J. Taylor operates are the RB2. Brandon Bolden will get some snaps as well as the third RB on the roster, but usually plays on special teams.

In a huge shock, Ty’Son Williams was ruled out as a healthy scratch and will sit against the Broncos. The Ravens brought up Le’Veon Bell yesterday, which was implying that one other RB would be inactive, but it was likelier to be Latavius Murray or Devonta Freeman. Now, it’s a three headed attack of Murray, Freeman, and Bell to go against a stout defense. Murray will likely be the lead rusher, and Bell will likely help out on pass downs, while Freeman chips in as well. It’s a very difficult situation to project, but Murray would be the best option most likely. It’ll be determined if this is a one week absence for Williams or not, but he’s been in the doghouse due to pass protection at times for sure.
As reported by: the Baltimore Ravens via TwitterSEA WR Tyler Lockett officially active; D'Wayne Eskridge officially inactive
As expected, Lockett is in while Eskridge was downgraded to out. Lockett will be one of the top two options for the team, while Freddie Swain will be the third wideout. Gerald Everett remained on the COVID list so it will be Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson leading the way.
As reported by: Gregg Bell via Twitter Other tagged players: D'Wayne EskridgeSF RB Elijah Mitchell officially inactive; George Kittle officially active
As expected, Mitchell was ruled out while Kittle was ruled in. Trey Sermon will lead the RBs for the offense, with Trenton Cannon and Jacques Patrick the other RBs active.
As reported by: Jack Hammer via Twitter Other tagged players: George KittleMIA WR Albert Wilson active; WR Preston Williams inactive
Wilson is active after missing action last week; Williams will sit again. The Dolphins have 6 WRs active, but their main three of Parker, Waddle, and Fuller are the only DFS pieces to consider.
As reported by: the Miami Dolphins via Twitter Other tagged players: Preston WilliamsATL RB Wayne Gallman active Sunday
Gallman will be active for the first time all year, a worrisome sign for the Falcons other RBs. Gallman may not play too much, but he is not likely to be used on special teams, and may steal some work from both Mike Davis and Cordarelle Patterson.
As reported by: the Atlanta Falcons via TwitterCHI QB Andy Dalton officially inactive
Dalton was officially ruled out with his knee injury, as was expected. Fields will get the start, while Nick Foles will be the back up.
As reported by: the Chicago Bears via Twitter Other tagged players: Justin FieldsNYG RB Devontae Booker active Sunday
Booker was a healthy scratch last week, but is active this week as the Giants play the Saints. Booker will back up Saquon Barkley but is simply insurance, and will play 10-20% of snaps most likely.
As reported by: Dan Salomone via TwitterNYJ WR Jamison Crowder and WR Denzel Mims officially active
Crowder and Mims are both officially active as expected: with no Elijah Moore or Jeff Smith, both players will have a role to get targets, particularly Crowder in the slot.
As reported by: the New York Jets via Twitter Other tagged players: Denzel MimsSchefter: SEA WR Tyler Lockett to play Sunday
Lockett is expected to play through his hip injury as the Seahawks prepare to play the 49ers. The Seahawks target tree is usually dominated by Metcalf and Lockett, and with Gerald Everett still on the COVID list, it’ll be even more concentrated between those two players.
As reported by: Adam Schefter via TwitterSchefter: WFT RB Antonio Gibson to play Sunday
Schefter mentioned that Gibson will play in a juicy matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Gibson has been dealing with a shin injury, but will be able to play and should have his usual role as the early down back for the team, with J.D. Mckissic siphoning away snaps on some passing downs.
As reported by: Adam Schefter via TwitterSchefter: MIN RB Dalvin Cook expected to play Sunday
As expected, Cook will return after sitting last week due to an ankle injury as the Vikings prepare to play the Cleveland Browns. Alexander Mattison will return to the bench as his back up, and may chip in more as Cook may still be hobbled, but Cook will have one of the higher ceilings on the slate once again.
As reported by: Adam Schefter via TwitterSchefter: SF RB Elijah Mitchell (shoulder) expected to be out Sunday; TE George Kittle expected to play
Schefter let us know overnight about the 49ers injury news; of the two questionable players, only one will play. Kittle is expected to play through his calf injury, and should suit up for the 49ers as their main tight end. Mitchell, however, is not expected to play through his shoulder injury, and will miss his second straight game. Trey Sermon will be the lead dog for the 49ers, but he only saw 10 carries last game as San Fran chose to go to a very pass heavy attack, and Kyle Juszczyk also played a role as well. The 49ers play in the late window, so Mitchell should be officially ruled out later.
As reported by: Adam Schefter via Twitter Other tagged players: George KittleNOS WR Kenny Stills elevated from practice squad
Kenny Stills has been elevated from the practice squad for the Saints and is expected to play Sunday against the New York Giants. Stills will most likely serve as WR3 behind Marquez Callaway and Deonte Harris and doesn’t offer much value other than the ability to catch the occasional deep ball. Last week against the Patriots Stills caught one of his three targets for 17 yards. There are enough other value options at receiver this week that make Stills not relevant for DFS purposes.
