ARI WR DeAndre Hopkins will be a game-time decision Sunday
DeAndre Hopkins will be a game-time decision Sunday after sitting this week of practice out with a rib injury. Hopkins has missed practices before and has still suited up for games so this isn’t immediate cause for alarm though it is worth checking pregame to be sure. If he were unable to go on Sunday A.J. Green, Rondale Moore, and Christian Kirk would likely all see more targets in the explosive Arizona offense led by Kyler Murray. These receivers would all become much better plays at their respective price points due to increased volume and their matchup against the dismal Jaguars defense.
As reported by: Josh WeinfussTBB WR Jaydon Mickens ruled out for Sunday
Jaydon Mickens ruled out for Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, Mickens wasn’t expected to play much but could have seen a role on special teams. Coach Arians stated that his role will be filled by Jaelon Darden who is making his debut.
As reported by: Greg AumanATL WR Russell Gage and WR Frank Darby ruled out for Sunday
Russell Gage and Frank Darby have both been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup with the New York Giants. With Gage out Calvin Ridley becomes even more of an obvious number one option in the passing game followed behind by Kyle Pitts, who should both dominate the target share for the Falcons. Olamide Zaccheaus will likely slide into the WR2 role and can be considered as a value option this Sunday but the main plays are Ridley and Pitts.

Odell Beckham Jr. is not on the injury report and is expected to play Sunday. This was expected as it seemed as though Odell had been trending in the right direction the entire week. He should reclaim his role as the primary receiving option for Baker Mayfield especially with Jarvis Landry going on IR earlier this week. The Browns take on the Chicago Bears Sunday in a game where OBJ should be featured along with Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, and the three-headed tight end attack for Cleveland.
As reported by: Nate UlrichMIN RB Dalvin Cook not practicing Friday
Dalvin Cook is not practicing Friday which is cause for some concern. Originally there was no reason for worry when Cook missed practices Wednesday and Thursday because Cook himself said he was a little banged up but would be good to go by Sunday. After not practicing Friday there is a decent chance Cook will be unable to play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks who were just torched on the ground by Derrick Henry. If Cook is unable to suit up Alexander Mattison would become the lead back and offer great value against a porous run defense.
As reported by: Will RagatzIND QB Carson Wentz practicing Friday
Carson Wentz is practicing Friday leaving the door open for him to start on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. If he were unable to play Jacob Eason or Brett Hundley would draw the start as both have been seeing snaps in practice and no decision has been made yet regarding which one would receive the nod. This is a situation that we will need to continue to monitor as the Titans defense has been picked apart by the Cardinals and the Seahawks so far this season.
As reported by: Adam SchefterCIN WR Tee Higgins doubtful for Sunday
Tee Higgins is doubtful for Sunday when the Bengals are set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Higgins likely not able to go Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd become excellent plays at their price point in a matchup where the Bengals are expected to play from behind and throw the ball. Mike Thomas is likely to play the slot role normally played by Higgins and could be a potential dart throw in GPPs. Chase and Boyd should be considered in any type of lineup
As reported by: Paul Dehner Jr.NYJ WR Jamison Crowder will be a game-time decision Sunday
Jamison Crowder will be a game-time decision Sunday after missing the first two weeks of the season. Coach Saleh said today that if Crowder is good to go Sunday he will immediately be slotted back into the offense alongside Corey Davis and Elijah Moore as the top receiving options in the Jets passing attack. If he were unable to go Braxton Berrios would likely see an increase in snaps (led the team in targets last week without Crowder) and possibly Keelan Cole. It is probably best to avoid most of the Jets offense in DFS this week as they draw a tough matchup with the Denver Broncos defense.
As reported by: Eric AllenTBB WR Antonio Brown DNP on Friday and is expected to miss Sunday
Antonio Brown did not practice on Friday and is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams while being on the COVID list. He still could potentially get the two negative tests 24 hours prior to the game needed to be eligible but that is seeming less and less likely. With Brown likely out, Chris Godwin and Mike Evans become stronger plays and should see even more volume. Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson who have been splitting WR4 reps will likely move up in the depth chart and fill-in at WR3 with Miller being the better projected play. With Tom Brady at the helm the Tamba Bay Buccaneers passing attack should still be lethal even in a tough matchup with the Los Angeles Rams’ defense.
As reported by: Rick StroudSFO RB Elijah Mitchell is "very questionable" for Sunday and it "looks like Trey Sermon is going to get his opportunity" according to GM John Lynch
Elijah Mitchell is “very questionable” for Sunday and it “looks like Trey Sermon is going to get his opportunity” according to GM John Lynch who spoke on a radio show Friday morning. If Elijah Mitchell is unable to suit up Sunday night against the Packers it sounds like Trey Sermon (if he clears concussion protocol) will be the lead back with Trenton Cannon, Jacques Patrick, and possibly even Kerryon Johnson splitting the rest of the time in the backfield. Sermon would instantly become one of the better plays on the showdown slate due to expected volume if Mitchell were to be ruled out.

Denzel Mims will be a game-time decision Sunday after being a healthy scratch the last two weeks. Coaches have complained about Mims’ lack of ability to play multiple roles in the passing game but it looks as if he has shown them enough in practice to warrant consideration of suiting up Sunday against the Denver Broncos. If he is active it is still not likely he plays much of a role as he would be the 4th or 5th WR for the Jets. Zach Wilson’s main targets should be Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, and Jamison Crowder (also a game-time decision).
As reported by: Dennis Waszak Jr.HOU TE Brevin Jordan inactive Thursday; Anthony Miller to make season debut
Jordan will be inactive for the third straight game, while Miller will make his season debut for the shorthanded Texans. Already without Tyrod Taylor, the Texans will be working without Nico Collins and Danny Amendola. Miller will likely round out three WR sets, along with Brandin Cooks and Chris Conley.
As reported by: the Houston Texans via Twitter Other tagged players: Anthony MillerCAR WR Shi Smith inactive Thursday
Smith will be inactive for the Panthers; he wasn’t projected to play anyways, with the Panthers deep room of weapons not needing him.
As reported by: the Carolina Panthers via TwitterLV RB Josh Jacobs (ankle) DNP Thursday
Jacobs missed practice again, and is looking like he’ll end up sitting due to an ankle injury that caused him to miss the Raiders last game. Should he sit, it’s likely the same combo of Kenyan Drake and Peyton Barber leading the way against the Miami Dolphins.
As reported by: Paul Gutierrez via TwitterNYJ WR Jamison Crowder (groin) DNP Thursday
It’s been a rough turn of events for Crowder since last week. He thought he was good to play, suffered a setback, missed the game, and now has logged two straight DNPs with this groin injury, and is looking unlikely to play against the Denver Broncos. This would mean more snaps for Keelan Cole and Braxton Berrios, while Corey Davis and Elijah Moore lead the way. The Jets have an implied team total of only 15, so it’s likely that all the players are worth avoiding, regardless of Crowder’s status.
