Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers
12/13/20, 1:41 PM ET

Christian McCaffrey out today, as expected. Ian Thomas active

Christian McCaffrey is out today, as expected, while TE Ian Thomas is active. Mike Davis will get at least one more game as the Panthers’ lead back.

Tyler Eifert

Jacksonville Jaguars
12/13/20, 1:37 PM ET

Tyler Eifert active today

Tyler Eifert is active today and should work as the Jaguars’ top TE. He has been consistently getting targets this season, but still doesn’t rate as a particularly strong play.

Kyle Rudolph

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
12/13/20, 1:33 PM ET

Kyle Rudolph inactive, Irv Smith active today

Confirming earlier reports, Kyle Rudolph is inactive while Irv Smith is active today. That means Irv Smith will work as the top TE for the Vikings, although he still has some injury-related risk after being limited with a back injury. Tyler Conklin will work as the backup TE.

As reported by: Minnesota Vikings Other tagged players: Irv Smith, Tyler Conklin

Brandin Cooks

Buffalo Bills
12/13/20, 1:28 PM ET

Brandin Cooks inactive, Keke Coutee active today

Brandin Cooks is officially inactive, while Keke Coutee is active today. The Texans have lost all their WR depth recently, and that means Coutee is in a great position to see an increased workload. Chad Hansen, Duke Johnson and Jordan Akins will also see significant target shares.

As reported by: Adam Schefter Other tagged players: Keke Coutee, Chad Hansen, Jordan Akins, Duke Johnson

Leonard Fournette

Buffalo Bills
12/13/20, 1:20 PM ET

Leonard Fournette inactive today

Leonard Fournette is inactive today, a healthy scratch for the RB. This should lead to more work for Ronald Jones, with LeSean McCoy and Ke’Shawn Vaughn working behind him. Neither McCoy nor Vaughn have been getting work recently, so the backup RB situation here isn’t clear, but this news only solidifies Jones’ role as the top RB.

As reported by: Adam Schefter Other tagged players: Ronald Jones, LeSean McCoy, Ke'Shawn Vaughn

Kenyan Drake

Green Bay Packers
12/13/20, 1:23 PM ET

Kenyan Drake, DeAndre Hopkins active as expected; Andy Isabella inactive

Kenyan Drake and DeAndre Hopkins are both active today, as expected. Andy Isabella is a healthy scratch, a surprising inactive for the WR. Not keeping Isabella active could indicate they’re confident in the return of Larry Fitzgerald, and don’t feel the need for additional depth.

As reported by: Arizona Cardinals Other tagged players: DeAndre Hopkins, Andy Isabella, Larry Fitzgerald

Darrynton Evans

Buffalo Bills
12/13/20, 1:25 PM ET

Darrynton Evans inactive today

Darrynton Evans is inactive today, but he was not projected to have a real role in the offense anyways. Khari Blasingame will work as the Titans’ third RB.

Brandin Cooks

Buffalo Bills
12/13/20, 11:26 AM ET

Brandin Cooks now reportedly not expected to play today

There have been mixed reports about Brandin Cooks, but Ian Rapoport indicated Cooks will be out today. The Texans’ WR situation is a mess, and it is fair to expect the TEs and RBs to factor heavily into the passing game. Keke Coutee and Chad Hansen are the clear top WR options remaining, and Duke Johnson should be active in the passing game. Look for an additional update on Cooks when inactives are released.

As reported by: Ian Rapoport Other tagged players: Keke Coutee, Chad Hansen, Duke Johnson, Jordan Akins, Darren Fells

Ezekiel Elliott

Los Angeles Chargers
12/13/20, 9:30 AM ET

Ezekiel Elliott, Tee Higgins, Kenyan Drake and DeAndre Hopkins all expected to play today

Ezekiel Elliott, Tee Higgins, Kenyan Drake and DeAndre Hopkins are all expected to play today. Elliott should be able to handle near his normal workload if active, which would severely limit Tony Pollard. Tee Higgins could carry some injury related risk, since he is working through a hamstring injury. Kenyan Drake and DeAndre Hopkins appear good to handle their normal workload.

As reported by: Ian Rapoport Other tagged players: Tee Higgins, DeAndre Hopkins, Kenyan Drake, Tony Pollard

Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers
12/13/20, 9:17 AM ET

Christian McCaffrey will not play today, still hopes to return this season

Christian McCaffrey reportedly will not play today, but he still hopes to return this season. This has been a disappointing season for CMC due to injuries, but it has given Mike Davis an unexpected chance as a lead back. Davis will once again be the clear top RB for the Panthers on Sunday.

As reported by: Adam Schefter Other tagged players: Mike Davis

Josh Jacobs

Montreal Canadiens
12/13/20, 1:15 AM ET

Schefter: Josh Jacobs likely to play Sunday

The Raiders are expected to have Josh Jacobs active after the second-year back missed last week’s meeting with the Jets. Jacobs was able to get some practice in on Thursday and Friday which had him trending in the right direction, and it does appear he’ll end up active. We’ll update again once things are official.

Matthew Stafford

Los Angeles Rams
12/13/20, 1:13 AM ET

Schefter: Stafford, Swift expected to play; Cooks, Coutee also expected to be in action on Sunday; Kyle Rudolph not expected to play

Per Schefter, the Lions will have both Matthew Stafford and D’Andre Swift in action on Sunday. Swift has missed a few games with concussion-related issues but should be able to take on a near-normal workload in what should be an uphill battle for Detroit against Green Bay. The Texans are fortunate to likely have both Brandin Cooks and Keke Coutee with Will Fuller already out of action, giving Deshaun Watson some viable weapons to work with on the road in Chicago. The Vikings aren’t expected to have Kyle Rudolph active Sunday which is a blow to the offense, but they are expected to get Irv Smith back. Smith and Rudolph tend to canabilize each other when both are active, so this could be a nice spot for Smith to get a little more work in the passing game.
