Christian Kirk active Week 4
Kirk is active Sunday, which paired with the earlier news of DeAndre Hopkins being active, means that Kyler Murray will have all his top weapons at WR. This news does limit the roles for Andy Isabella and KeeSean Johnson, as they will both return to their normal roles further down the depth chart.

Hopkins tested out his injured ankle pregame Sunday is and good to play. He gives Kyler Murray his top offensive weapon, one he has already targeted 37 times in 3 games.

Both the Patriots and the Chiefs have had zero additional positive tests since their initial positives caused their game to be delayed. Now they’re schedule to kickoff Monday night as the early game of a MNF double header, with the games scheduled to overlap for about an hour or so. It will remain to be seen how the DFS sites handle this news, but there could be some good two-game slates tomorrow night. Any additional positive tests before kickoff would likely result in another postponement.
As reported by: Adam Schefter Other tagged players: Kansas City ChiefsCarlos Hyde (shoulder) not expected to play Week 4
Hyde is not currently expected to play Sunday. Normally that would mean a massive workload for Chris Carson, but he is also dealing with an injury of his own (knee). Carson is expected to play and will be the top back, but Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas could be more involved than usual.

The NFL dodged a bullet Sunday, as the previous positive test for Michael Burton now appears to have been a false positive. In addition, all other tests on Saints’ players came back negative. The Saints-Lions game is cleared to go on as schedule.
As reported by: Nick Underhill Other tagged players: Michael BurtonSaints FB Michael Burton tests positive for COVID-19; Alvin Kamara among those being retested after sitting near Burton on flight
The positive test for Burton was not discovered until after the Saints’ flight to Detroit. This means everyone near Burton on the flight, which includes Alvin Kamara, is being immediately retested. This situation needs to be monitored very closely this morning, as we could suddenly see multiple positives, or even a delay of the game. Update: the Burton test has been confirmed as a false positive, and all Saints tested negative Sunday morning. The game will go on.
As reported by: Chris Burke Other tagged players: Michael BurtonSchefter Late Night Alert: DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, Terry McLaurin, Joe Mixon, Chris Carson all expected to play Sunday
Per Schefter, each of these players will be active in Week 4. There aren’t any huge surprises here, but both Chris Carson and Joe Mixon looked legitimately questionable for portions of the week. Seattle would have likely preferred to manage Carson’s workload to a degree, but with Carlos Hyde still questionable, Pete Carroll might not have much of a choice but to lean more heavily on Carson.

Adams is officially listed as questionable after his third straight limited participation in practice this week, and should be considered a game-time decision. Marcedes Lewis is doubtful, which should mean some run for Josiah Deguara, although the Packers also have Robert Tonyan and Jace Sternberger at TE.
As reported by: Olivia Reiner Other tagged players: Marcedes Lewis, Josiah DeguaraJulio Jones, Calvin Ridley questionable; Russell Gage expected to play Week 4
Jones and Ridley are both listed as questionable, but reportedly are “trending upwards” according to Coach Dan Quinn, indicating they’re likely to play Monday night. Russell Gage has practiced fully and does not carry an injury designation, meaning he should play barring a return of any concussion symptoms.

Brian Hoyer is expected to be the Patriots starting QB against the Chiefs, assuming they are able to play this week. With Cam Newton ruled out due to COVID-19, there was some speculation that Jarrett Stidham could get a chance. Instead, the Patriots are likely going with the expected choice, Brian Hoyer, who had been the other active QB behind Newton this season.

With the Chiefs-Patriots game postponed at least one day, the NFL has decided to move the Colts-Bears into the afternoon slot. While this shouldn’t impact either team fantasy wise, it could impact morning vs afternoon slates on the DFS sites. Given that the game is tomorrow, all DFS sites will hopefully provide an update ASAP.
FanDuel has announced that the game will still be included in the 1 pm only slate.

The Patriots-Chiefs Week 4 game has been postponed, and is expected to be played Monday or Tuesday. There still remains risk of further postponement, depending on the test results for both teams. Right now the only solution is to wait and see what happens.
As reported by: Adam Schefter Other tagged players: Kansas City ChiefsChiefs practice squad QB Jordan Ta'amu placed on COVID-19/reserve list after positive test
The Chiefs now have a confirmed positive COVID-19 test, with practice squad QB Jordan Ta’amu testing positive. While there is no direct fantasy impact from this, this does raise the chances of other Chiefs’ players testing positive, something that would almost certainly force the Chiefs-Patriots Week 4 game to be postponed to a different week.

Trey Burton has been activated off of IR, giving him a chance to be active Week 4 for the Colts. Pittman has been placed on IR, meaning he will miss at least 3 weeks.
As reported by: Kevin Bowen Other tagged players: Michael PittmanCam Newton added to COVID-19/reserve list, ruled out Week 4
This is massive news, as the Patriots’ starting QB Cam Newton has tested positive for COVID-19. The Patriots are currently saying no other player has tested positive, but it is difficult to imagine this truly staying isolated. The Titans have had a slow trickle of positive tests each day since Tuesday, and people can test negative initially before eventually testing positive. If the Patriots-Chiefs game is still able to happen, either Brian Hoyer or Jarrett Stidham will step into the starting role. The run game would likely be heavily featured for the Patriots.
This is definitely a situation to closely monitor between now and kickoff Sunday. There is a realistic chance this game is postponed to later in the season.
