Moore was knocked out of the Panthers’ previous game and has been ruled out of the final game of the year. He had a breakout second season, ending with 87 catches, 1175 yards and 4 touchdowns. The loss of one of his top weapons will hurt rookie QB Will Grier and may cause the Panthers to lean even heavier on Christian McCaffrey.

Boston Scott is also expected to retain a role in the offense.

The Saints are bringing in free agent WR Antonio Brown for a workout Friday. If he was signed, there remains a chance he would then be placed on the Commissioner’s Except list, which would prevent him from playing indefinitely. Talent has never been an issue for Brown, but he has already been released by the Raiders and Patriots this season.
