Sample did not practice Wednesday and is unlikely to play this week. Carter is on track to return after a limited practice Wednesday.

Olsen was knocked out of the Panthers’ last game with a concussion and remains in the concussion protocol. He did not practice Wednesday and is trending towards not playing Sunday.

Pollard is questionable for the Cowboys Thursday night, while Cobb does not carry any injury designation. Cobb had been out with an illness but was a full practice participant Wednesday.

It appears the hand issue with Mayfield is about pain tolerance. He expects to play Sunday, and he doesn’t need to practice in order to play.
As reported by: Nate UlrichTaylor Gabriel (Concussion), Ben Braunecker (Concussion) Ruled Out for Thursday
The Bears will be without both Gabriel and Braunecker due to concussions. Both were out last game as well, with Anthony Miller and Allen Robinson getting 13 and 12 targets, respectfully.

Damien and Darrel Williams both will not practice for the Chiefs Wednesday. If one or both are out this week, it would open the door for newly signed Spencer Ware to make his debut. The entire Chiefs’ RB situation will need to be monitored closely this week.

Jones took a step towards playing Sunday, practicing Wednesday in a limited fashion. He missed his first game of the season last week, and his return would boost Matt Ryan. Russell Gage and Christian Blake have been used heavily the past two weeks and would see decreased roles if Jones returns.

A.J. Green will not be returning this week for the Bengals. The Bengals do not plan to place him on IR despite being 1-11.

The streak finally ended, as McCaffrey put up a relative dud in Week 13 on a week where he had his highest ownership mark of the year. It’s funny how that works, isn’t it? Expect him to get back on track here against a Falcons defense that has quickly regressed after a pair of good games. One of those games came against these Panthers, on a day where the Panthers did not score an offensive touchdown. McCaffrey still topped 30 PPR fantasy points in that game. Look for him to get back to his upside ways this week.
An Elite QB/WR Pairing
Jameis Winston’s streak of six consecutive 300+ yard games ended last week as Tampa Bay got out to a commanding lead against Jacksonville and did not have to throw often. That likely won’t happen again this year, as most of their games against mid-level teams are competitive. Expect the pass volume to return this week, and Mike Evans is my preferred pairing with Winston. Even though Winston and Evans were largely held in check a week ago, Evans still had 11 targets. He ranks 4th in the league in targets this year and should get back on track against a mediocre Colts defense.

The Chargers continue to find new ways to lose games in heartbreaking fashion. Despite owning a 4-8 record, the team actually has a POSITIVE point differential for the year, as they have scored three more points than their opponents. All eight of their losses have been by four points or less. Another fun fact: Mike Williams leads the NFL in yards per catch with at 20.5 and ranks fourth in yards per target — but he doesn’t have a single touchdown on the season. Eventually, variance should break his way, and I like the upside here.
T.Y. Hilton (Calf) Will Not Practice Wednesday
Hilton did not participate in practice Wednesday. He missed last week’s game with a calf injury that has lingered for the past month. Last Wednesday he was limited in practice, so he appears to be worse off than he was a week ago.

Jones suffered a mild high-ankle sprain in the Giants’ last game, although he didn’t miss a snap. He is now in a walking boot and not expected to play this week. That means Eli Manning will get the start for the Giants Monday night, his first action since Week 2.
