Texans CB Johnathan Joseph Likely to Return Sunday in London
This is excellent news for the Texans, who are likely to be without Lonnie Johnson and just lost former DPOY J.J. Watt (torn pectoral) for the rest of the season. The Texans rank 23rd in pass DVOA and fifth in rush DVOA, so expect the Jaguars to attack through the air if they cannot establish the inefficient Leonard Fournette early.

Star quarterback Deshaun Watson was spotted wearing a protective visor attached to his helmet in practice on Friday. Watson may decide to sport this gear during Sunday’s game in London due to the unfortunate eye injury he suffered last week against the Raiders. While Watson is in no danger of missing the international game vs. the Jaguars, who rank 7th in pass DVOA, this is something to keep an eye on if you are playing the full slate, Sunday all day slate, or Sunday morning showdown.
As reported by: Aaron WilsonJets TE Chris Herndon Unlikely to Return Vs. Dolphins
Jets Head Coach Adam Gase reportedly does not believe Herndon will make his season debut on Sunday vs. the Dolphins, according to the NY Post. Herndon has been unable to practice fully since suffering his hamstring injury following his suspension. If Herndon misses another contest, look for TE Ryan Griffin to absorb Herndon’s 11% projected target share. Griffin may see inflated ownership due to his explosion last week, where he totaled four receptions, 66 yards, two touchdowns, and added a two-point conversion for good measure to make him one of the highest scoring tight ends on the slate. In another week where the tight end position on the main slate is a complete wasteland, expect game log watchers to flock to Griffin.

No WR has failed to live up to expectations more than OBJ this season, and for that reason he will be under 10-15% in the majority of DFS contests this weekend. Odell and the Browns are in a must win matchup, where they get a Broncos team who has been very good defensively this season. Despite this Browns offense struggling all season, Beckham is a top big play threat in the league and we are getting him underpriced and under-owned. OBJ is still top 15 in air yards this season, and is accounting for 26% of the Browns targets. OBJ will draw a tough matchup against Chris Harris Jr., but don’t be surprised to see the Browns move Odell into the slot to avoid Harris, who has played less than 5% of snaps in the slot CB position so far this season.
Get Right Spot For This RB
Bell finally finds himself in a dream scenario, a spot where the Jets should be competitive if not control the lead in a game. The biggest issue with Bell, outside of his horrendous efficiency (3.2 YPC), is his involvement in the passing game has gone down from where he was the first few weeks of the season. Last week, he played 85% of snaps and accounted for 17% of the Jets targets and 60% of the rushing market share. He only had 9 carries last week, but a matchup against the Dolphins should allow him to see more carries in this one.
Underpriced #1 WR
Yes DJ Moore is technically the “WR1” for Carolina but we all know this is the Christian McCaffrey show, however, with CMC’s insane price tag DJ Moore could be a guy we use to pivot off of that play. It also helps that Moore is insanely cheap despite seeing 23% of the team’s targets so far this year. Curtis Samuel is questionable but currently expected to play, so while he probably suits up, him playing banged up could bode well for Moore. Moore gets a home matchup against the Titans who are 20th in terms of DVOA against the pass so far this year and have done an amazing job at stopping the run (#2 Rush DVOA).
Under The Radar Value RB
Rostering a Miami Dolphin can be a headache, rostering a Miami RB is even worse. But after the trade of Kenyan Drake, there is one less RB in town to get the rock for the Dolphins. There is some very obvious chalk at RB this week and Walton could be a strong pivot off of that. Walton played 87% of the snaps last week while accounting for 18% of the team’s targets and 58% of rushes. Walton will do most of his damage through the passing game, but 11 carries last week was encouraging as well. Walton is extremely cheap and finds himself in a matchup against the Jets middle of the pack rush defense.
Josh Gordon Won't Play Sunday, Expected to Debut for Seattle Week 10
Gordon was claimed Friday by the Seahawks, but he won’t make his debut this week. Instead, he is aiming for Week 10, when the Seahawks play the 49ers on Monday Night Football.
As reported by: Joe FannSeahawks Claim Josh Gordon
The Seahawks claimed Josh Gordon off of waivers on Friday. He was waived by the Patriots earlier in the week and gives the Seahawks another big WR target. He had 20 catches for 287 yards and 1 TD in 6 games for the Patriots this season.
As reported by: Ian RapoportDwayne Harris (Ankle) Questionable; Josh Jacobs, Tyrell Williams Do Not Have Injury Designations, Will Play Sunday
Both Jacobs and Tyrell do not carry injury designations into the weekend, giving the Raiders two of their top weapons. Dwayne Harris has just 1 catch on the season, so his status won’t have a major fantasy impact.
As reported by: Scott Bair Other tagged players: Josh Jacobs, Tyrell WilliamsTra Carson (Hamstring) Limited in Practice Friday, Questionable Sunday
Carson was on the injury report for the second straight day due to a hamstring injury. He is questionable Sunday, and Ty Johnson would be the lead back if he is out, while J.D. McKissic would also see more touches.
As reported by: Tim Twentyman Other tagged players: Ty Johnson, JD McKissicCameron Brate (Ribs) Practices Fully Friday, Questionable Sunday
Brate is questionable but it appears he will play. O.J. Howard has already been ruled out, so Brate will see plenty of snaps if he can play. Tanner Hudson will be the TE2, and he would see a heavy snap load if Brate can’t go.
As reported by: Liz Mathews Other tagged players: Tanner HudsonChris Thompson (Toe), Vernon Davis (Concussion) Out Sunday; Adrian Peterson (Ankle) Will Play
Thompson and Davis have both been ruled out Sunday. Peterson was on the injury report to start the week, but does not carry any injury designation into the weekend. He may be leaned on more this week as the Redskins switch to rookie QB Dwayne Haskins against the Bills. Peterson could also face more players in the box, making it more difficult to do anything with his touches.
As reported by: John Keim Other tagged players: Vernon Davis, Adrian PetersonJosh Bellamy Out Sunday; Braxton Berrios, Chris Herndon, Demaryius Thomas Questionable
Bellamy has been ruled out, while Herndon seems closer to doubtful than questionable. Herndon still has not made his debut this season, being suspended the first four weeks and hurt since then.
As reported by: New York Jets Other tagged players: Braxton Berrios, Chris Herndon, Demaryius ThomasRyan Izzo (Concussion), Matt LaCosse (Knee), Gunner Olszewski (Ankle/Hamstring) Questionable Sunday
Izzo (Concussion), LaCosse (Knee) and Olszewski (Ankle/Hamstring) are all questionable Sunday. Izzo probably has the most fantasy impact, but he is the clear number 2 TE behind Benjamin Watson.
