Bounce Back Spot For This WR
If I had told you that Matthew Stafford threw for 364 yards and 4 TDs, you would’ve been right to assume that Kenny Golladay went on for a pretty strong week as well, however, you’d be wrong. Golladay, after seeing over 25% of the teams total targets throughout the season, he saw just 2 targets of the teams 45 passing attempts. That would be good for 4% of teams targets, something that is not likely to happen again this season as Golladay is the proven number 1 in Detroit and remains Stafford’s go-to target. Golladay finds himself in a favorable matchup where it is logical to assume the Lions lean on the passing attack that has done well so far this season, as they just lost Kerryon Johnson to the IR. In terms of DVOA, the Giants rank 27th against the pass and currently giving up the most FPPG to opposing WRs, so safe to say this is a favorable matchup for babytron at home vs. the Giants.
Consistent Targets
It doesn’t matter who is starting at QB – although Brees returning from injury certainly wouldn’t hurt – Thomas is going to continue to get double-digit targets on a weekly basis. Thomas has a league leading 32% target share this season and a top five market share of air yards (41%). Amazingly, there’s still some room for improvement on those numbers if Alvin Kamara misses another week for the Saints. New Orleans will get the benefit of hosting the Cardinals this week and should benefit from playing up in pace against a Cardinals defense that plays at the fastest pace in the league and ranks 26th in pass-defense DVOA.

As reported by: Matt Schneidman Other tagged players: Jimmy Graham, Aaron RodgersPatrick Mahomes (Knee) Limited, Sammy Watkins (Hamstring) Practices Fully Wednesday
Mahomes was able to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday, but is not expected to play this week. The Chiefs have not ruled him out, but it would be pretty reckless to put their franchise player back on the field so quickly. Watkins has missed the previous two weeks but should return.

Jackson was limited Wednesday in practice. He has missed four straight games and will be the third string RB when he returns. He will still see a small role in the offense when healthy, but his touches will be limited.

As reported by: Josh Weinfuss Other tagged players: Maxx WilliamsDavid Johnson (Ankle), D.J. Foster (Hamstring) Do Not Practice Wednesday
There is a chance Arizona is without two RB’s this week. They are clearly preparing for that situation, as they signed running backs Alfred Morris and Zach Zenner. Those two players would backup Chase Edmonds, if Johnson is out.
As reported by: Josh Weinfuss Other tagged players: D.J. Foster, Alfred Morris, Zach Zenner, Chase EdmondsJosh Gordon (Knee) Placed on Injured Reserve
Gordon was placed on IR by the Patriots, effectively ending his tenure with the team. He is on the IR with the designation of a minor injury, meaning he will be waived once he is healthy. The trade for Mohamed Sanu gave the Patriots the flexibility to move on from Gordon.
As reported by: Field Yates Other tagged players: Mohamed SanuDemaryius Thomas (Hamstring), Chris Herndon (Hamstring) and Braxton Berrios (Hamstring) Limited in Practice Wednesday
The Jets had three players on their first injury report of the week. Herndon was the only of the three not to play last week, so he is the most likely to miss this upcoming week.
As reported by: Rich Cimini Other tagged players: Chris Herndon, Braxton BerriosMatt Ryan (Ankle), Ito Smith (Concussion/Neck) Both Do Not Practice Wednesday
Ryan is still likely to play, while Smith will likely miss his first game of the season. He has averaged 3 rush attempts and 2 targets per game, so the Falcons’ offense won’t change significantly if Smith is out.
