O.J. Howard (Hamstring) Limited, Breshad Perriman (Hamstring) Practices Fully Wednesday

Howard was limited in practice Wednesday, the first day of practice for the Bucs coming out of their bye week. He has a good chance of playing this week. Perriman had missed the two games prior to the bye, and he is likely to play this week after practicing fully Wednesday. He caught 3 of his 11 targets for just 16 yards the first three weeks of the season, so the Bucs might not feel the need to force him back into the offense.

Adrian Peterson (Ankle), Steven Sims Jr. (Toe) Both Questionable Thursday

Peterson and Sims are both considered questionable for Thursday night. Both were able to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday and will likely be game-time decisions. Wendell Smallwood would get a big boost if Peterson was out, while Sims is already near the bottom of the WR depth chart.

Lions Promote Paul Perkins to Active Roster

The Lions have promoted Paul Perkins to their active roster. While Perkins is unlikely to be a factor in the offense, this move indicates that Ty Johnson and J.D. McKissic will get a chance at the RB touches while Kerryon Johnson is out.

Darren Waller

Miami Dolphins
10/22/19, 4:25 PM ET

Budding TE1?

Waller has easily been the biggest surprise of the 2019 NFL season at the tight end position. He continues to see a massive target share for the Raiders, and that will likely continue with the receiving corps being otherwise underwhelming, especially now that Tyrrell Williams is injured. Waller had a 7/126/2 line against the Packers last week and very nearly scored a third time. With Kelce off the main slate (except on FDRAFT) and Ertz struggling, you can make a case for Waller as the overall TE1 this week.
