Cole Beasley

New York Giants
1/12/19, 7:41 PM ET

Cole Beasley (ankle) and Blake Jarwin (ankle) will be active Saturday

Beasley will reportedly be active for Saturday’s Divisional Round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams despite not practicing all week because of an ankle injury, while Jarwin will also be active after battling an ankle injury of his own for a majority of the week. The Cowboys’ tight ends had been an underutilized aspect of the offense for a majority of the regular season, but Jarwin has seen at least seven targets in the three of the last four games. There’s been no confirmation, but if Beasley is limited in any way, Amari Cooper would likely move into the slot on a more consistent basis with Michael Gallup remaining on the outside in three-wide receiver sets.

Spencer Ware

Spencer Ware (hamstring) officially inactive Saturday; Sammy Watkins (foot) active

Ware is officially inactive, as expected, and won’t play in Saturday’s Divisional Round matchup against the Indianapolis Colts due to a hamstring injury that’s now forced him to miss four straight games, while Sammy Watkins is active and Kelvin Benjamin is a healthy scratch to make room for Watkins on the gameday roster. Ware’s absence will allow Damien Williams to continue working as the Chiefs undisputed lead back, and he is averaging exactly 16 touches per game in the three weeks Ware has been sidelined. As for Watkins, he’s a risky tournament option at best, as he hasn’t played anywhere close to a full game since Week 9 when he logged 77 percent of snaps. However, he is cheap exposure to this explosive Chiefs offense on the two and four-game slates across the industry.

Spencer Ware (hamstring) will work out pre-game but unlikely to play Saturday

Ware will go through pregame warmups to test out his injured hamstring, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Chiefs “doubt” he will be able to play in Saturday’s Divisional Round matchup against the Indianapolis Colts due to the aforementioned hamstring ailment. Ware’s likely absence will allow Damien Williams to continue working as the Chiefs undisputed lead back, and he is averaging exactly 16 touches per game in the three weeks Ware has been sidelined.

Hunter Henry

New England Patriots
1/11/19, 4:38 PM ET

TE Hunter Henry (knee) is questionable for Sunday; RB Melvin Gordon is good to go

Henry is coming off of an ACL tear just 7 months ago, making it likely he sees only a small percentage of snaps even if he does suit up for Sunday’s divisional round game at New England. Antonio Gates and Virgil Green should continue to split the majority of the workload though Henry’s presence for even a handful of snaps would provide a small boost to the Chargers’ offense. The third-year tight end has much greater pass-catching and play-making chops than Green and Gates at his age and would demand some extra defensive attention from the Patriots. Gordon was removed from the Chargers injury report on Friday despite dealing with multiple knee sprains and may still be at less than 100% health. At a price of only $6,200 on DraftKings however, he’s more than worthy of tournament consideration in a game that the Chargers may resort to the run more in order to avoid CB’s Stephon Gilmore and Jason McCourty through the air.

Mike Wallace

Philadelphia Eagles
1/11/19, 4:44 PM ET

WR Mike Wallace (ankle) questionable for Sunday; WR's Alshon Jeffery and Golden Tate are good to go

With fellow wideouts Alshon Jeffery and Golden Tate removed from the injury report, the veteran receiver figures to remain a non-factor even if he is able to suit up for Sunday’s divisional round game at New Orleans. TE Zach Ertz leads the team in targets in games QB Nick Foles has started, though Jeffery and Agholor haven’t been far behind manning the outside in Wallace’s absence. Last week’s hero, Tate, actually has the best matchup in the slot on Sunday, with CB P.J. Williams being by far the weakest link in the Saints’ secondary. In the slate’s second-highest total game, where the Eagles figure to be forced to pass more than last week, all four pass-catchers are firmly in play regardless of Wallace’s status.

T.Y. Hilton

WR T.Y. Hilton and TE Eric Ebron are good to go for Saturday; Ryan Grant ruled out

Andrew Luck will have his two favorite weapons for Saturday’s divisional round game in Kansas City despite Hilton not practicing all week and Ebron being limited. They were removed from today’s injury report and figure to be top tier options at the position given the game’s 57-point projected total. The possible absence of safety Eric Berry would bolster Ebron’s chances of a productive game while Hilton should be targeted heavily, though he has struggled historically outside of domes and is more likely to be at less than 100% health. Ryan Grant’s absence doesn’t have a big impact on the Colts’ target share, but we could see a little more Chester Rogers and Zach Pascal.

Sammy Watkins

Baltimore Ravens
1/10/19, 2:19 PM ET

Sammy Watkins (foot) practicing again on Thursday

The Chiefs’ preferred WR will likely log a third straight limited practice but it’s a great sign for his chances of playing in Saturday’s divisional round game against the Colts. He figures to play in 3-WR sets at the least, if fully healthy, with the potential for a full complement of snaps. It’s looking less likely that fellow wideouts Chris Conley and DeMarcus Robinson will remain factors for this weekend’s playoff slate due to Watkins impending return.

Cole Beasley

New York Giants
1/10/19, 2:13 PM ET

WR Cole Beasley (ankle) and TE Blake Jarwin (ankle) miss practice again on Thursday

Both pass-catchers are looking like game-time decisions after missing three straight days of practice ahead of Saturday’s divisional round game at LA. Owner Jerry Jones shared he was “very positive” about both playing Saturday, though he can be overly optimistic about his players’ capabilities sometimes. With Allen Hurns out, each of them could move up in the receiving pecking order, particularly Beasley, in a game where more should be asked of the Cowboys’ passing game given that they’re a touchdown underdog in a game with a 50-point total.

No TY Hilton again at Colts Practice

No sign of TY Hilton at Colts practice again. This has been the typical week late in the season for Hilton. He doesn’t practice much anymore but he delivers on game-day. Feel free to fire him up in DFS as a solid option in a game where the Colts could be playing catch-up.

Team Searching for Downfield Weapon in Playoffs

Someone in the Patriots wide receiver corps will have to step up behind Julian Edelman now that Josh Gordon is out of the picture, and the two most likely candidates are Chris Hogan and Phillip Dorsett. The duo combined for 11 receptions and 98 yards with a touchdown on 16 targets in New England’s Week 17 win over the Jets, although neither player saw a target or a reception the week before. Both receivers are dirt cheap, however, and make for affordable GPP targets if looking to save salary.

Nyheim Miller-Hines

New Orleans Saints
1/09/19, 2:17 PM ET

Passing Back Could See Big Day in Shootout

Nyheim Hines was a major disappointment at the running back position for the Colts during the Wild Card round, but that could change with Indianapolis visiting the Kansas City in Saturday’s game featuring the highest point total (57.0) of the weekend. The Colts could fall behind early in this one, meaning they will have to rely more on the passing game, and Hines finished third on the team in targets (81) and fourth in receiving yards (425). Hines is available for minimal price this weekend, making him a salary-saver with major upside if this game becomes the back-and-forth shootout many are expecting.

Blake Jarwin

Dallas Cowboys

Blake Jarwin (ankle) Will Not Practice

Blake Jarwin will not participate in Cowboys practice today. Jarwin caught all 3 of his targets against Seattle and is a weapon the Cowboys could use against the Rams this weekend. If active, Jarwin could remain in your DFS player pool as a viable option if spending down at the position.

No Injury Concerns for Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott (knee) was on the Tuesday injury report — stemming from his late run vs. Seattle, but he had a full practice and Jason Garrett says no concerns about his availability Saturday. He comes in as one of the cheaper options at his position for the divisional playoff round, so he needs to be on DFS radars due to possible game script and his ability to create fantasy points with his running.

RB Thomas Rawls has signed with the Jaguars

Former Seahawk Thomas Rawls has signed with the Jaguars. He should add depth at the very least. However with Leonard Fournette seemingly on the verge of being moved, perhaps Rawls is a deep sleeper in next years best ball drafts.
