Davante Adams and Equanimenous St. Brown are both inactive today
Equanimeous St. Brown and Davante Adams will both not suit up for week 17. Aaron Rodgers and the passing attack will move forward with Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Randall Cobb and Jake Kumerow. Kumerow flashed during the preseason, but injuries halted his season and he will get a chance to show what he can do now that the team is down so many weapons. Reasonably priced across the industry Kumerow sets up to be an intriguing punt play for the week. Without Adams in the lineup, The Packers offense as a whole seems less appealing in terms of pass-catching options and it would not surprise many if the team tries to establish the ground game with Jamaal Williams. With Aaron Jones on IR Williams should have all of the carries he can handle this week.

Kenny Golladay will miss the last game of the season with a chest injury. His absence makes The Lions pass catching a very thin unit in the season finale with TJ Jones and Andy Jones expected to start in two wide receiver sets. The Packers defense gets a big boost as they are priced fairly across the industry.
As reported by: Field Yates TwitterAlvin Kamara, Drew Brees and Ted Ginn are all inactive today
As the Sunday morning inactive started to roll in, it’s no surprise to see The Saints rest key players. Alvin Kamara and Drew Brees will not play this week, and even though starters Mark Ingram and Micheal Thomas are active it would be a surprise if they played more than a few snaps this week. Ted Ginn will also be inactive today, and with Teddy Bridgewater getting the start at QB this week, The Saints offense could lean heavily on an unproven group of young players to carry the load in week 17. Keith Kirkwood, Tre’Quan Smith and Dwayne Washington all carry tournament upside on what is shaping up to be an interesting final full slate of the season.

Leonard Fournette will wrap up a disappointing fantasy season with another missed game as he is sitting out the season finale with a foot injury. Carlos Hyde and T.J. Yeldon will soak up the running back snaps this week, but a tough matchup vs The Texans makes this a hard spot in terms of clear value.

The Texans passing attack has been riddled with injuries this season and will once again be without Keke Coutee as he battles an injured hamstring. Already down opening day starter Will Fuller, The Texans lost newly acquired Demaryius Thomas last week and will now have to lean even more on their stud, DeAndre Hopkins. DeAndre Carter will look to build on a 6 for 61 line last week and makes for an interesting punt option across the industry.

While there is certainly strong optimism that Antonio Brown suits up today, the star wide receiver will test out his knee prior to the start of today’s game to determine his status. Reports have surfaced this morning that Brown will have to improve in order to play today. In a must win game for The Steelers Brown should do everything he can to play today, but if he were to miss we could expect to see almost all of the targets funnel to JuJu Smith-Schuster. The Bengals defense has been one that we target all year long and this week will be no exception.

With a playoff spot already secure news broke this morning that The Cowboys will rest key players in their season finale. Both Ezekiel Elliott and RG Zack Martin are not expected to play today vs the Giants. Expect backups Rod Smith and the seldom-used Darius Jackson to split reps instead against the Giants. In a game where the Cowboys are expected to not put much on the field in terms of a competitive product, this becomes a hard spot to look for clear-cut running back value.
As reported by: Jane Slater TwitterMarcus Mariota not expected to play
With the season on the line, it appears the Titans will be without star quarterback Marcus Mariota tonight vs The Colts. Considered questionable with a chance to test things out prior to tonight’s game, news broke this morning that the team is preparing to play the game with Blaine Gabbert as it’s starting QB. Obviously, this is a big blow to the Titans, as Mariota is a very important piece of this offense. Over the last few weeks, The Titans have leaned heavily on a run game featuring Derrick Henry and with what has consistently a historically limited QB in Gabbert we should expect a heavy dose of the run game tonight.

Per Schefter, “not a lot of optimism” that WR Antonio Brown (Q) will play against the Bengals. If Brown can’t go, JuJu Smith-Schuster becomes a slam dunk cash game play and is right up there among the top plays in raw projections. His ownership will also likely be sky high across the industry – for good reason – but a guy like Vance McDonald may go a little overlooked running into a friendly draw with the Bengals, who have allowed the sixth-most receptions to the TE spot this year. Eli Rogers, James Washington and Ryan Switzer all have some mild degree of GPP appeal with a massive chunk of the target share becoming available. James Conner is currently slated to be a game-time decision, and if he can’t go, Jaylen Samuels becomes an elite play at the RB spot, especially on full-point PPR sites. Conner will be a GPP option in the event that he gives it a go, as the Steelers wouldn’t have much incentive not to push him in a game they need to win.

John Brown, Carlos Hyde (Q) both expected to play Sunday. Hyde’s presence is notable given that Leonard Fournette isn’t expected to play, but he’s still not one of the preferred value options at RB. Houston has the AFC’s top run defense and if the Jags are going to score points, it’ll likely have to be on the back of Blake Bortles. Jacksonville’s passing attack isn’t a recommended place to look either, but Bortles does have some moderate stacking appeal with Dede Westbrook for those rolling out multiple GPP lineups. John Brown’s presence basically eliminates any interest in the Ravens’ receivers, as Lamar Jackson’s presence has lead to a huge step back in production for that group.

Marcus Mariota to warm up with the intention of playing Sunday. He won’t be 100% but hopes to be able to go in a pivot game that will decide a playoff spot in the AFC. Andrew Luck is a superior target in single-game formats, and there isn’t much incentive to target Mariota on sites like Yahoo that include the Sunday night game on the main slate. None of the Titans offensive targets are terribly appealing in all-day slates.
As reported by: Ian RapoportThe TE You Can't Fade
After a couple bad weeks Ertz bounced back strong with a GPP winning performance against the Texans last week. I usually hate to chase these monstrous games, but it’s been clear over the past two season Foles trusts Ertz more than anyone when it matters most. Both these teams have a ton to play for, so I’d expect to see a competitive game and with value available at RB/WR….I think it’s crazy to get cute at TE and pass up on a guy locked in for double digit targets.
A Pants Off Play
Either Jones or Foster is going to have a big game this week vs this dilapidated Dolphins secondary so I’d recommend getting exposure to both guys. If I’m choosing one, I’ll take the over 1K in savings Jones gets you on DK. He’s seen 9 targets in three of his last four games and Vegas is projecting three TD’s for the Bills. We know that isn’t coming from the rushing game, so I feel pretty good about Jones &/or Foster hitting pay dirt vs this secondary that can’t stop giving up big pass plays.
Record Breaker?
If there is ever a week to take a ride down narrative street, it’s Week 17 in the NFL. One of the biggest narratives is Adams being 133 yards short of breaking the Packers single season receiving yards. With nothing left to play for on the season, there is no doubt in my mind that Rodgers is going to target Adams early and often in this matchup. He crushed this team for 9-140-1 earlier this year and I think we see something similar this week to break the record.
New Contract, New Reasons to Play this Man at Low Ownership
Fresh off a new contract and back to back 100 yard games, Damian Williams is sizing up to be big chalk on Sunday. I think it’s worth eating in this smash spot vs Oakland. In College DFS….one of my favorite things to do is grab ALL the TD equity by rostering the QB & RB on teams projected to score a ton. It often doesn’t work in NFL because teams just don’t score as much & there are so many RBBC which can spread out the equity among a ton of players. The Chiefs skew closer to a college offense than just about any team in the league and certainly in this matchup feels like they have a FLOOR of 5 TD’s between the two of them.
