Thriving In A Plus Matchup
In two head-to-head matchups against the Texans this year, the Colts rushed for 91 total yards and threw for over 800 total yards. It jives with the strengths and weaknesses of the Houston defense. This defense is much more vulnerable through the air than on the ground, and there’s no reason to believe that the Colts won’t continue that same game plan in the Wild Card round. T.Y. Hilton is obviously the primary target here, as he had over 300 receiving yards combined in the two regular season meetings. However, if you are looking to go for a cheaper play, don’t sleep on Dontrelle Inman, who has grabbed the #2 role and led the team with a 5/77/1 line in the playoff-clinching win over the Titans in Week 17.

If you are looking to save a little bit at the quarterback position, give Dak Prescott a look. He’s been much better over the latter part of the season, and a lot of that is likely attributable to defenses keying more attention on Ezekiel Elliott. More of it could be attributable to the helpful mid-season acquisition of Amari Cooper. In any case, Prescott is playing better football now. He played well even with a lot of backups in the game last week against the Giants, and I expect him to put up a fine point per dollar performance at home in this game. He’s also a logical GPP pivot if you are fading a chalky Elliott at the running back position.
Nick Foles is Ready for Wild Card Game
Nick Foles will be ready and starting when the Eagles travel to Chicago to take on the tough Bears defense this weekend. Foles test came back clean and he is in line to start the game. The weekend is filled with tough defenses all around, so Foles is still on the radar as a solid play this week despite the difficult matchup.
As reported by: Dave Zangaro TwitterQB Nick Foles (ribs) "feeling good"; will start Sunday vs Bears
Tests came back clear today for last year’s Super Bowl MVP after taking a shot to the ribs in Sunday’s win over the Redskins. He’ll have a tall task on the road in Chicago this week where the Eagles are projected for a meager 17 points, though Foles should be forced to pass early and often as the Bears boast arguably the league’s best run defense.
As reported by: Mike GarafoloNick Foles has Bruised Ribs and should be "OK"
Eagles believe QB Nick Foles has bruised ribs and they think he’s OK. Philadelphia takes the field in the last game of wild card weekend, a Sunday night game versus a stout CHicago Bears defense, in Chicago. It will be a tough test for Foles and his weapons.
As reported by: Adam Schefter TwitterHunter Henry appears Ready to Contribute in Playoffs
Chargers TE Hunter Henry, who tore his ACL during the off-season, is expected to play Sunday against the Ravens per Adam Shefter’s sources. He would be a big boost to an offense looking to score points on the #1 defense in the NFL. He also has major DFS appeal on a slate that features only Zach Ertz as a solid Tight End option.
As reported by: Adam Schefter TwitterMelvin Gordon Expected to Play Sunday
Melvin Gordon sounds ready to play in the wild card round despite limping off the field in Sundays season finale. This is as tough of a matchup as there is in football right now, taking on the Ravens #1 ranked defense.
As reported by: Adam Schefter TwitterSNF Injury Report: Marcus Mariota inactive, TY Hilton and Eric Ebron both active
SNF Inactives are out and as expected Marcus Mariota is out. News surfaced earlier today that Blaine Gabbert would start as Mariota is not healthy enough to play in a must-win game for the Titans. From an offensive perspective, we can expect the run-heavy Titans to continue a game plan centered around Derrick Henery. The Colts appear to be full strength as both T.Y. Hilton and Eric Ebron are active for tonight’s game.

The Seahawks are in the precious situation of not having much to play for this week. Locked into the No. 5 or No. 6 seed in the NFC, its possible to see the Seahawks rest key players ahead of next week’s wild-card game. With Rashaad Penny able to practice this week and now listed as active we could see the team us all him in conjunction with Mike Davis and Chris Carson. The addition of Penny makes it hard to point to a clear source of value in a deep Seahawks backfield.

As expected Allen Robinson will not play today vs The Vikings. Needing a Rams to have any chance of a first-round bye, The Bears have opted to not push their number one receiver this week. It remains to be seen how much the offense will play today, but there is no clear-cut player to roster in the absence of Robinson.
As reported by: Rich Campbell TwitterAntonio Brown OUT for Steelers today
With The Steelers season on the line, Antonio Brown will miss the last game with a knee injury. Earlier in the day, Brown was hopeful to play, but after testing the knee in pregame the determination to sit Brown was made. JuJu Smith Schuster figures to get the big bump today with Brown sitting. Ryan Switzer has emerged over the last few weeks and should see some action in the slot. James Connor is also back this week so even without Brown The Steelers have plenty of weapons at their disposal a very weak Bengals defense.

Spencer Ware practiced fully all week but much to our surprise is inactive for today’s game vs The Raiders. Damien Williams will remain Kansas City’s lead back and becomes a decent option across the industry.

James Conner expected to play after testing his ankle pregame. This takes Jaylen Samuels out of play given that he’s now priced like a guy receiving the lion’s share of the work, but Conner does have some GPP appeal given that the Steelers don’t have much reason to go easy on him with the season on the line.

With nothing left to play for this season Devin Funchess won’t suit up Sunday against the Saints. The absence of Funchess creates an opportunity for D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel to make an impact in this depleted Panthers offense. The bad news for both Moore and Samuel is that they will have to depend on third-string QB Kyle Allen to carry the offense. Overall this sets up to be a very bad spot for a Panthers offense as they have one of the lower implied point totals on the slate. With volume likely to be on his side Samuel could make for an intriguing tournament pivot off other wide receivers in the same price range.
As reported by: Field Yates Twitter Other tagged players: D.J. Moore, Curtis SamuelCordarrelle Patterson will not play today
As somewhat of a surprise player in terms of value to The Patriots offense, Cordaarrelle Patterson will miss today’s game. Patterson is not a player that we can look figure out in terms of what his absence means in the real of DFS. Like many other players in the history of this team, Patterson has made his impact on the field in a wide variety of positions. Asked to carry the ball as a feature back while the team battled running back depth, Patterson has been more a valuable real-life player than that of a fantasy stud. It would not be much of a surprise to see The Patriots ride the running game this week as they look to control a very important game vs The Jets in week 17. Rookie Sony Michel could be in for a big workload as he looks to build on an 18 for 116 performance last week.
