Patrick Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs

An MVP Performer for your Lineups

It’s Week 17 with more value options than we’ve had all season, so it’s all aboard the Mahomes train one more time. Not only does Kansas City have home field on the line, but the matchup couldn’t be any better against a Raiders team he blistered for 4 TD’s just a couple weeks ago. My preferred stack here is with Tyreek over Kelce. Despite a 1 reception game in previous matchup, he had opportunities deep that just missed that day. With no TD’s over the past four weeks, I think the variance swings his way and Mahomes finds him a couple times on Sunday.

Marquise Goodwin

Marquise Goodwin (calf) and Garrett Celek (concussion) ruled out for Sunday

Goodwin didn’t participate in practice all week, and he has officially been ruled out of Sunday’s matchup against the St. Louis Rams due to a calf injury, while Garrett Celek remains in the concussion protocol and will not suit up for this Week 17 contest. They’ll join Matt Breida and Dante Pettis among the Niners’ other inactives, which will leave Kendrick Bourne, Richie James, and Trent Taylor as the main pass catchers in three-wide receiver sets. Bourne appears to be the likeliest of the trio to lead the team in snaps and routes run, making him an intriguing salary relief option in all formats for this weekend’s slates.

Todd Gurley (knee) ruled out for Sunday

Gurley didn’t participate in practice all week, and he’s officially been ruled out of Sunday’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers due to a knee issue that’s now forced him to miss two consecutive games. This means that C.J. Anderson can be expected to work as the Rams feature back once again after he exploded for 167 yards and a touchdown on just 20 carries in the win over the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday afternoon. Anderson draws another plus matchup against an exploitable Niners defensive front and costs just $5400 on DraftKings and $6200 on FanDuel this weekend.

DeAndre Hopkins Removed from Injury report

Hopkins is now a full go in a desired win for Houston on Sunday. Fire him up as a top end WR1 for DFS purposes.

Teddy Bridgewater

Detroit Lions
12/28/18, 3:50 PM ET

Teddy Bridgewater will start Sunday

Sean Payton says Teddy Bridgewater will start at QB for the Saints on Sunday. I think most expected Brees to play a series or 2 before giving way to Bridgewater, but it looks like it will be Teddy’s game from the get go. He makes for an interesting DFS option with low salary and good match-up.

DeSean Jackson

DeSean Jackson listed as doubtful for Sunday

DeSean Jackson listed as doubtful for Sunday along with teammate Carl Nassib. This injury could provide us with another week of Chris Godwin and Adam Humphries, both of whom stand to benefit the most from Jackson’s absence.

Antonio Brown

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
12/28/18, 3:34 PM ET

Antonio Brown Questionable for Sunday

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters that WR Antonio Brown, who didn’t practice, is having tests done on his knee. He’s questionable for Sunday. This is massive news and Brown is trending down. JuJu Smith Schuster may be in line for heavy work, but he is also nursing a lower body injury. Stay tuned to RG for more alerts.

Allen Robinson

Detroit Lions

Allen Robinson Doubtful this Week

Bears’ HC Matt Nagy said S Eddie Jackson, LB Aaron Lynch and WR Allen Robinson are all doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. This is a tough match-up against the Vikings so it would still be a GPP only move to roster Taylor Gabriel or Anthony Miller. However the door is open now for more targets for those guys.

Tevin Coleman

Dan Quinn says Julio Jones and Tevin Coleman WILL play

This is an interesting turn as I think most expected Coleman to sit in a meaningless game. This takes sleeper Brian Hill off the table unless otherwise noted.

Vernon Davis

Washington Commanders

Vernon Davis will not play this weekend

Vernon Davis and Jordan Reed will both be out this weekend in the Redskins season finale. If your feeling frisky then Jeremy Sprinkle is a TE sleeper with a low salary to watch.

TY Hilton not at practice. This is probably just rest, but we will know long before this game kicks off on the showdown slate to end the season.

It would be a nice upgrade for the Colts passing game if Ebron gets ruled IN prior to kick off Sunday night. Stay tuned for more updates.

The Panthers have ruled out Cam Newton. We already knew this was coming. Look for Kyle Allen to get the start Sunday versus the Saints in a meaningless game.

Leonard Fournette

Buffalo Bills
12/28/18, 1:33 PM ET

RB Leonard Fournette (foot/ankle) Doubtful for Season Finale

Fournette is listed as doubtful for the final game of the season for the Jags. It’s been a terrible season for the 2nd year RB out of LSU. He just can’t seem to stay healthy with his physical style of play. In a matchup against a stout defensive front, I don’t think there is a cut and dry play here for this Jags backfield Sunday
