He Just Needs More Touches
Among running backs with more than 100 carries this season, Lindsay actually ranks in a tie for second with 5.8 yards per carry (behind only Aaron Jones). He’s been fantastic, especially when you consider his involvement in the passing game. He’s averaged over SEVEN yards per carry in the last two games. The time share in Denver is a bit of a buzz kill, but Lindsay did sneak up to almost a two-thirds snap share against the Steelers. This is a spectacular matchup against a Bengals defense that is an absolute joke at this point. They are allowing a league worst 440 total yards per game, and Lindsay should be able to make a couple big plays in this one. He’s a great mid-range GPP option.
Upside Abounds Even Against A Tough Opponent
I think there is a decent shot that the Ravens get out to a lead in this game, as they are playing with momentum right now and have their eyes on the final playoff spot in the AFC. Meanwhile, the Falcons are reeling. If the Ravens come out hot, expect plenty of rushing yards for Jackson and Edwards on the Baltimore side, and that would force the Falcons to the air. It’s a tough matchup for Julio Jones, but he has been locked in of late and is as matchup-proof as they come. He is riding a stretch of six straight 100+ yard games, and he has even found the end zone in three of those. He’s a fine fit as a WR #1 despite the matchup.
Opportunity Knocks With A Solid Matchup
This is a sneaky great spot for Demaryius Thomas in GPP formats. He’s cheap, he’s got upside, and his snap share jumped to over 80% last week. DeAndre Hopkins is likely going to have to deal with pesky rookie corner Denzel Ward more often, leaving opportunity for Thomas to see a few more looks. My bold call is that he finds the end zone twice in this game, which would obviously help him smash value for this dirt cheap tag.
An Elite Play In A Great Matchup
I faded McCaffrey last week, which became quite the problem for my lineups. I won’t make that mistake again. A ton of attention was paid to how weak Tampa Bay’s pass defense was early in the year, but it’s their rush defense that has struggled of late thanks to some injuries to the front seven. McCaffrey is a near every down back at this point that will rack up yards both via the running game and the passing game – and the upside is immense against this porous defense. He logged 157 total yards and two scores against this defense earlier in the year, and he topped 200 total yards in a tough matchup last week. Ride the hot hand.
Lamar Jackson expected to start again Sunday for the Ravens
Lamar Jackson is expected to start again Sunday for the Ravens in their Week 13 road matchup with the Falcons. Whether this is more indicative of Joe Flacco’s health or Jackson’s strong play thus far is debatable, but either way the rookie QB will once again be under center in a favorable matchup against a Falcons defense that struggles greatly against the run. Don’t be surprised if Jackson sees a few more rushing attempts than he saw last week against Oakland due to the favorable matchup as he looks to remain undefeated as the Ravens starting QB.
As reported by: Mike GarafoloTre'Quan Smith logs another limited practice Tuesday for the Saints
Tre’Quan Smith logged another limited practice Tuesday for the Saints, which marks his second-consecutive limited outing due to his foot injury. Smith was a somewhat surprising scratch from the Saints Thanksgiving game vs the Falcons coming off of what was easily the best game of his young career thus far in Week 11. Smith’s ability to practice in a limited fashion this early in the week bodes well for him to return to action Week 13 against the Cowboys on Thursday night.
Keke Coutee on Track to Play Week 13
Bill O’Brien said he’s unsure whether Keke Coutee’s current hamstring injury is as severe as his past two, but he thinks the rookie is “trending toward” being able to play.
As reported by: Aaron Reiss TwitterKerryon Johnson not Expected to Play Sunday
According to Lions beat writer Dave Birkett, Kerryon Johnson status for Sunday’s game is doubtful. Head Coach Matt Patricia failed to give an update on the situation. This is just speculation from someone close to the organization, so stay tuned for confirmed news late this week.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette is expected to appeal his one-game suspension for his actions during the fight Sunday. He should learn his fate before Wednesday practice.

Damiere Byrd suffered a broken arm in Sunday’s loss to the Seahawks and the expectation is that the team places him on Injured Reserve to end his season.
As reported by: Ian Rapoport TwitterJags RB Leonard Fournette suspended one game
Jags RB Leonard Fournette suspended one game for fighting during the second half of Bills/Jags yesterday. It was a pretty ugly scene that Fournette probably didn’t need to get involved in, and in addition to being thrown out yesterday, he’ll serve a one-game suspension. It’s not totally clear if he’ll appeal or if he’ll serve it this coming week, but Carlos Hyde and TJ Yeldon are the primary beneficiaries. This cannot be welcomed news for Cody Kessler, who has taken the starting QB job from Blake Bortles as of today. Yeldon was a popular play during Fournette’s absence earlier in the year, but Hyde’s presence does muddy the waters for both players. Yeldon is certainly the preferred option on PPR sites.

Melvin Gordon (knee) is being considered week-to-week, and is doubtful to suit up Sunday. It appears Gordon’s main goal at this point is just taking the field again this season at all, much less this Sunday against the Steelers. In his absence, look for Austin Ekeler to be the Chargers lead running back and be heavily involved in both the rushing and passing attack out of the backfield.
Rex Burkhead activated off of IR, eligible to return Week 13
Rex Burkhead has been activated off of IR and is eligible to return Week 13 for the Patriots. Burkhead’s return will muddy the Patriots backfield, with Sony Michel and James White both potentially seeing less touches as a result. Michel should still be locked into the early down and goal line work, but given the Patriots history with running back committees nothing is certain. It is also unclear if Burkhead will be eased back into action with a limited workload, but for now we do know he will at the very least be suiting up for New England’s Week 13 home matchup with the Vikings.
Bengals place QB Andy Dalton on IR
The Bengals have placed QB Andy Dalton on IR due to the thumb injury he sustained in the team’s Week 12 loss to the Browns. Backup QB Jeff Driskel will step into the starting role for the team for the remainder of the season, which downgrades all Bengals pass-catchers and the offense as a whole. In a corresponding move, the Bengals have signed veteran QB Tom Savage to serve as Driskel’s backup.
As reported by: Adam SchefterColts officially place Jack Doyle (kidney) on IR
The Colts have officially placed Jack Doyle on IR due to a kidney injury he sustained in their Week 12 win against the Dolphins. Look for Eric Ebron to once again assume the role of primary tight end, and see a significant corresponding target bump. Look for Ebron to carry TE1 status the rest of the season in Doyle’s absence.
