Jalston Fowler inactive for TEN
Jalston Fowler is inactive for the Titans. He was added over the bye week to help get the running game going, but the Titans won’t have him in uniform tonight and it’s another slight push forward to the Dallas side. Fowler wasn’t going to be a DFS option.
Cowboys inactives vs. Titans: DE Randy Gregory, DL David Irving, TE Geoff Swaim, OG Xavier Su'a-Filo, LB Joe Thomas, WR Tavon Austin and QB Mike White
Cowboys inactives vs. Titans: DE Randy Gregory, DL David Irving, TE Geoff Swaim, OG Xavier Su’a-Filo, LB Joe Thomas, WR Tavon Austin and QB Mike White. Blake Jarwin and Rico Gathers both figure to see increased snaps and can be utilized as Showdown punt plays, and Dalton Schultz could also figure into the equation. Amari Cooper will make his Dallas debut tonight and he’s expected to start and see a full compliment of work, so it’ll be interesting to see how he’s integrated this evening. Ezekiel Elliott is still by far the top play on the DAL side in a game they should control.
Torrey Smith listed as a DNP for Monday after sitting Week 9
Torrey Smith listed as a DNP for Monday after sitting Week 9, although it’s an estimated injury report as the Panthers didn’t actually practice today. If Smith is forced to sit again, D.J. Moore will continue to see heavy snaps as the #2 WR behind Funchess and would find himself on the DFS radar yet again.

Pete Carroll said Chris Carson is about how he was last week, a bit sore coming out of the game. They’ll rest him early in the week and see how he progresses from there. Mike Davis would benefit if he can’t go with Rashaad Penny also likely eating into the equation with CJ Prosise being a healthy inactive yesterday. We’ll update this situation as the week progresses.

Geronimo Allison expected to miss multiple weeks with a core muscle injury, which opens the door for Marquez Valdes-Scantling to continue running with the 1st team. He actually out-snapped Randall Cobb on Sunday night and figures to continue acting as the Packers #2 WR for as long as Allison sits. It’s possible he ends up finding his way onto IR given that this can be a six-week injury.

Charles Clay is considered week-to-week for the Bills, so it’s very likely we’ll see some sort of committee in place against the Jets in Week 10. The Bills are not an offense worth targeting in any fashion at this point, but the Jets D/ST unit figures to be one of the most heavily targeted groups for DFS purposes, as opposing defenses have had a field day against the Bills QB carousel. It’s still unclear who will start at QB this coming Sunday, but the Bills have stated that Derek Anderson will start if he’s healthy and Josh Allen is unable to go, signaling that Nathan Peterman is last in line.

Head coach Jay Gruden confirmed at his Monday press conference that Paul Richardson would need season-ending surgery to repair the AC joint in his shoulder. This news came at the time the team announced starting guards Brandon Scherff and Shawn Lauvao would also require season-ending surgeries on their respective injuries, leaving this already mundane Redskins offense even more depleted. With Richardson’s recovery time slated at six-to-eight months, expect Maurice Harris to continue manning the slot in three-wide receiver sets following a breakout performance, resulting in 10 receptions for 124 yards in a Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons at home.
As reported by: John Keim via TwitterWR A.J. Green (toe) doesn't need surgery; Expected to miss at least two games
Head Coach Marvin Lewis shared this good news on Monday and the sense was that the Bengals WR1 “wouldn’t miss a significant amount of time”, however, Green will still be out at least the next couple weeks per Adam Schefter. This is going to leave more targets for Tyler Boyd and potentially John Ross if he is able to return this week, though the Bengals offense as whole should certainly be knocked down a peg or two without their biggest playmaker, particularly QB Andy Dalton.

The Texans ran mainly 2-WR sets with DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas in Sunday’s narrow win over the Broncos. Until Coutee can return, expect more of the same with the Texans utilizing their tight ends heavily as well. Hopkins should continue to see a massive target share regardless and Thomas’ should grow as he continues to get acclimated with his new team.

The Bears wideout missed his second straight game in Week 9 and is already looking questionable for Week 10. Taylor Gabriel, Anthony Miller, and Josh Bellamy will continue to round out 3-WR sets. Not too much has been asked of this passing game during Robinson’s absence as they’ve faced weak offenses the past 2 weeks on their way to easy wins. That may not change in Week 10 as the Bears come in as large home favorites against the Lions in one of the lowest total games of the week.
As reported by: Mark GroteRB Giovani Bernard (knee) and WR John Ross (groin) return to practice Monday
Gio should be eased back in behind Joe Mixon if he suits up in Week 10, seeing it’s his first practice since Week 4. If Ross is health enough to play this week, he could immediately see major snaps and targets with A.J. Green not practicing today and looking likely to miss some time. The Bengals should be playing in the highest projected total of the week against the Saints in Week 10.

A spot opened after the release of QB Sam Bradford so the journeyman wideout was re-signed by the Cardinals. He’ll likely be pressed for playing time behind fellow slot receiver Larry Fitzgerald who’s coming off a season-best game in Week 8.
