Raheem Mostert (knee) doesn't practice, Matt Breida (ankle) logs limited practice Monday for 49ers
Raheem Mostert didn’t practice Monday due to a knee injury, and Matt Breida was able to log a limited practice despite his ankle injury on Monday for 49ers. The 49ers as a whole appear somewhat banged up heading into a short-week matchup with the Raiders on Thursday night. At this point Breida’s limited practice bodes well for his availability, where as Mostert appears truly questionable. Keep an eye on their practice status heading into Thursday, as either back being inactive would open up more work for Alfred Morris.
Other tagged players: Matt BreidaCJ Beathard (right wrist) and Pierre Garcon (shoulder, knee) don't practice Monday for the 49ers
CJ Beathard (right wrist) and Pierre Garcon (shoulder, knee) both didn’t practice Monday for the 49ers. Garcon’s absence is no huge surprise as he was unable to suit up this past weekend and appears truly questionable to take the field week 8 as well. Beathard’s absence is more concerning, as the quarterback appears to have an issue to his throwing wrist as the 49ers get ready for Thursday night football. Keep an eye on their practice status in the coming days, as either Nick Mullens or Tom Savage would be under center in Beathard’s absence.
Other tagged players: Pierre GarconJosh Gordon (team discipline) expected to miss several series Monday night
Josh Gordon (team discipline) is expected to miss several series Monday night as a result of tardiness. Gordon may reportedly miss around a quarter of action tonight, and then should play normally after that. Obviously a player missing out on 25% of the game isn’t ideal for their own fantasy prospects, however the likes of Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan and Rob Gronkowski may see a slight boost in looks during a quarter with Gordon off the field.
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will start for Bucs in Week 9
This comes as no surprise, after Jameis Winston threw another 4 picks on Sunday before being benched for Fitzpatrick who led a second half Bucs rally, going for nearly 200 yards and 2 touchdowns in that time. The veteran QB is averaging well over 300 yards per game across his starts this year and should provide a small boost for the entire offense, particularly wideouts DeSean Jackson and Mike Evans who caught a 72 yard touchdown pass from Fitzpatrick on Sunday.

Browns fired Hue Jackson, per Adam Schefter. Hopefully this means we can see a more wide open offense and find some fantasy value in guys like Mayfield and Duke Johnson.
As reported by: Adam Schefter TwitterKeke Coutee Questionable
Bill O’Brien said it’s too early in the week to know if WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) will be able to play against Denver on Sunday.
As reported by: Sarah BarshopSony Michel (knee) ruled out for Monday night
No surprise here as he was initially designated as doubtful, but Sony Michel has officially been ruled out for Monday night for the Patriots. Look for Kenjon Barner to handle the early down work out of the New England backfield, with James White being heavily involved in the run game and pass game as well. Michel was able to log a limited practice Saturday, which bodes well for his week 9 availability.
Cooper Kupp (knee) inactive Sunday
As expected, Cooper Kupp is officially inactive Sunday due to his knee injury. Look for Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks to dominate the passing targets for the Rams in a potential afternoon shootout with the packers.
Marlon Mack (ankle) active Sunday, as expected
Per the earlier report, Marlon Mack is active Sunday, as expected. Look for him to see the bulk of the carries out of the Colts backfield, with Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins serving change of pace roles.
Marlon Mack (ankle) will play Sunday
Marlon Mack reportedly will play Sunday against the Raiders, despite a lingering ankle injury. Look for Mack to try to build on his solid week 7 performance in a favorable matchup against a weak Raiders defense. Mack playing limits the value of Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins.
Chris Thompson (ribs) active Sunday
Chris Thompson is officially active Sunday after being inactive weeks 6-7 due to a rib injury. Look for Thompson to step back into his usual role, handling the passing work out of the Redskins backfield today against the Giants. Thompson being active lowers the upside of Adrian Peterson, and eliminates any potential value for Kapri Bibbs.
Allen Robinson (groin) inactive Sunday, as expected
In line with the earlier report, Allen Robinson has officially been ruled inactive Sunday due to a groin injury. Look for Taylor Gabriel and Trey Burton to see the heaviest target share for the Bears, with Anthony Miller picking up some additional targets as well.
Paul Richardson (shoulder, knee) active Sunday
Paul Richardson is officially active Sunday despite shoulder and knee injuries. Look for Richardson to see his usual workload in today’s matchup against the Giants.
Robby Anderson (ankle) out Sunday
As expected, Robby Anderson is inactive Sunday due to an ankle injury. With Quincy Enunwa on the shelf as well, the Jets are very thin at wide receiver, and should look to rely on Jermaine Kearse most heavily. Newly signed Rishard Matthews may see some look as well, although the whole Jets passing game will have its work cut out for them in unfavorable weather against a stingy Bears defense.
Sneaky buy-low opportunity on a hall of fame wideout
The offensive struggles of the Arizona Cardinals have been no secret thus far, but with the firing of offensive coordinator Mike McCoy and the insertion of Bruce Arians’ understudy Byron Leftwich, there is some optimism about the offense this week against the 49ers. It appears, however, that most of that optimism is being directed towards David Johnson, leaving Larry Fitzgerald extremely cheap and potentially low-owned. Per the FanShare Buzz Tool on LHQ, Fitzgerald has drawn little attention around the DFS industry this week, despite the fact that Leftwich has expressed a desire to get Fitzgerald more involved in the offensive attack. While many flock to David Johnson as the primary beneficiary of the OC change, consider Fitzgerald as a punt wide receiver that historically possesses a solid floor and ceiling for his low price point.
