Allen Robinson

Detroit Lions

WR Allen Robinson (groin) questionable for Sunday but likely to play

Taylor Gabriel is seeing nearly the same target share as Robinson this season and would stand to benefit the most if the Bears WR1 is out or limited in a game the Bears may be required to throw more than they would like to keep up with Tom Brady.

Jamison Crowder

WR Jamison Crowder ruled out for Sunday while WR Paul Richardson is doubtful; RBs Chris Thompson and Adrian Peterson listed as questionable

Maurice Harris filled in for Crowder in Week 6 and should be in line for an expanded role once again with Richardson now likely to miss Sunday’s game against the Cowboys as well. Harris is the bare minimum across sites and certainly warrants consideration. Peterson is expected to play while Thompson seems to have a good chance of returning in Week 7 after practicing all week. Despite returning from injury, he could once again be heavily relied on in the passing game with the absences of Crowder and Richardson.

Dalvin Cook

Dallas Cowboys
10/19/18, 1:41 PM ET

RB Dalvin Cook ruled out for Sunday

This is a bit surprising after Cook practiced in full this week. With the Vikings remaining conservative with their second-year back, veteran Latavius Murray will once again be featured after rushing for 155 yards and a touchdown last week. Though the Jets defensive front should be no pushover against a weak Vikings O-line, game flow should set up for some volume for Murray with the Vikings installed as 3.5-point favorites. At just $5,000 on DraftKings, he should be considered.

WR T.Y. Hilton is likely to play Sunday; WR Ryan Grant (ankle) ruled out

Beat reporters are optimistic the Colts’ WR1 will play in Week 7 which should open things up more for Andrew Luck. With Ryan Grant being out, fellow wideout Chester Rogers should remain a factor and he’ll avoid Tre’Davious White with Hilton expected back. Hilton himself seems like nothing more than a contrarian play at his price, given his long layoff from injury and the aforementioned tough one-on-one matchup.

Isaiah Crowell

Las Vegas Raiders
10/19/18, 12:58 PM ET

RB Isaiah Crowell (foot) questionable for Week 7 while WR Terrelle Pryor (groin) is doubtful

Crowell got in a limited practice on Friday while Pryor sat. Even if Crowell plays, the matchup isn’t ripe this week against the Vikings with the Jets installed as 3.5-point underdogs. With WR Quincy Enunwa also ruled out, Pryor’s absence opens the door for Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse to be target monsters in a game that the Jets will likely need to keep pace with a potent Vikings offense. Both receivers are $4500 or less on DraftKings this week.

Leonard Fournette

Buffalo Bills
10/19/18, 12:43 PM ET

RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) officially ruled out for Sunday

T.J. Yeldon will be featured again in what should be much better gamescript than last week for the Jags who are 5-point home favorites against Houston. At a price below $7K on both FanDuel and DraftKings, Yeldon is in play on Sunday’s slate.

Todd Gurley

Atlanta Falcons
10/19/18, 12:31 PM ET

Scoring Opportunities

Despite a likely lopsided affair this is arguably the game with the most fantasy goodness. Todd Gurley has become an auto play at this point and he hasn’t scored fewer than 25.6 DK points all season. Gurley has become a bit more touchdown dependent than I typically like when paying this much for a running back but the opportunities to score should continue to be there as the Rams have an implied team total of 31 points.

Ezekiel Elliott

Los Angeles Chargers
10/19/18, 12:24 PM ET

Volume + Matchup

Ezekiel Elliott continues to see massive volume and continues to be the only playable Cowboys player despite Cole Beasley’s Week 6 explosion. Elliott finally gets a great matchup to go along with his heavy volume as the Redskins rank 30th in rush DVOA. Elliott is averaging 23 carries and four receptions per game the last three weeks and that kind of volume makes him a core play despite a high price tag. There seems to be enough value this week where it is possible to play both Gurley and Ezekiel in your cash game lineups.

Rashard Higgins

Carolina Panthers
10/19/18, 12:32 PM ET

WR Rashard Higgins (knee) ruled out for Sunday

As expected, Higgins still isn’t recovered from his knee injury. Jarvis Landry and Antonio Callaway should soak up a couple extra targets in the best matchup for wide receivers on the slate against a putrid Bucs secondary. Damion Ratley saw nearly 90% of snaps and 8 targets in Week 6 with the Browns in comeback mode and now merits some punt consideration given the matchup.

Terrelle Pryor (groin) Dealing with Injury

Terrelle Pryor (groin) not at Jets practice to start. Quincy Enunwa has already been ruled out. Pryor has been solid this season and if he can’t suit u then there is going to be an abundance of value at the Jets WR position Sunday.

Travis Benjamin Questionable

Chargers injury report lists Bosa as Out and Travis Benjamin Questionable. Bosa’s absence hurts the defense. Benjamin’s absence can help guys like Tyrell Williams and Mike Williams get more snaps and targets, and each has prospered with big weeks early in the season

The Cardinals Change Coordinators

The Cardinals OC Mike McCoy has been fired. QBs Byron Leftwich is the new coordinator. You typically don’t see moves like this so early in a season. This move can only be good for David Johnson. The old regime showed no ability to get him the ball in space, so perhaps Leftwich can make it happen

David Njoku

Los Angeles Chargers
10/19/18, 11:24 AM ET

Good Chemistry, Great Matchup

Tampa Bay has been terrible against the tight end position ranking 29th in DVOA against TE’s. Unlike Landry, Njoku has shown chemistry with Mayfield and he’s totaled 29 targets (18 receptions) in Mayfield’s three starts. Njoku stands out as a core play at his accessible price tag across the industry.

Jarvis Landry

New Orleans Saints
10/19/18, 4:06 PM ET

Get Right Spot

Tampa Bay has especially struggled in the middle of the field which is good news for Jarvis Landry and David Njoku. Landry has lined up in the slot on 72.9% of his snaps this season and draws a matchup against Bucs slot corner M.J. Stewart who is allowing a ridiculous 151.5 passer rating to opposing QBs when targeted. 25-of-28 balls thrown Stewart’s way have been caught for 304 yards and five touchdowns. Landry hasn’t shown much chemistry with Mayfield yet but has still seen double-digit targets in Mayfield’s three starts. Landry is a cash game lock on FanDuel where he’s $6,500 and I’m still considering him in cash games on DraftKings albeit he’s less valuable there.
