T.Y. Hilton practices in full Wednesday; Jack Doyle still nowhere to be found
T.Y. Hilton practices in full Wednesday, a great sign for his Week 7 availability. The Colts have been working with a tandem of Chester Rogers and Ryan Grant with Marcus Johnson adding depth, but they’ve sorely missed Hilton’s presence. The Colts are throwing the ball a ton thanks to their inability to run the ball (although they did have some success with Marlon Mack back in Week 6), so volume shouldn’t be an issue for Hilton, but the Colts inability (and unwillingness to a degree) to stretch the field has kept his upside in check while he has been out there. Eric Ebron will continue to be a target hog with Doyle out, with Erik Swoope providing some pass-catching depth behind him.
As reported by: @ColtsBengals Injury Report: Gio Bernard misses Wednesday's session; CJ Uzomah limited, John Ross a full participant
Gio Bernard missed Wednesday’s session and will likely need to get some work in as the week progresses to join Joe Mixon in action. Mark Walton would figure to continue working in a complementary role if Bernard can’t go. CJ Uzomah was limited Wednesday, but still appears to be on track to play. He’ll continue to see 5-8 looks a week with Tyler Eifert done for the year and Tyler Kroft banged up. John Ross got back to a full session today and should be able to suit up for Week 7, which would eat into the already limited playing time for Josh Malone and Alex Erickson.

QB Brock Osweiler will start again in Week 7 after playing surprisingly well in Week 6 against a vaunted Bears defense going for nearly 400 yards and 3 touchdowns in an overtime win. Osweiler has been very, very far from consistent in his career but does get another home matchup against a far more generous Detroit pass defense ranked 28th in DVOA. He’s only $4,700 on DraftKings this week.
As reported by: Adam Beasley Other tagged players: Brock OsweilerWRs Quincy Enunwa (ankle) and Terrelle Pryor (groin) not practicing Wednesday
Enunwa is expected to miss some time while Pryor’s DNP is a surprise after playing through Sunday’s game against the Colts. If Pryor joins Enunwa on the sidelines in Week 7, expect Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse to become target monsters in a game that the Jets will likely need to keep pace with a potent Vikings offense.
As reported by: Rich Cimini Other tagged players: Terrelle PryorTE Jack Doyle and WR Ryan Grant not practicing Wednesday
Doyle remains out indefinitely with a hip injury which has allowed for the emergence of Eric Ebron who scored again this past week and continues to be one of the most heavily targeted tight ends in the league. Chester Rogers has seen double digit targets in each game that WR1 T.Y. Hilton has missed and would stand to benefit even more if Grant were to miss Sunday’s game against the Bills.
As reported by: Kevin Bowen Other tagged players: Ryan GrantRB Chris Thompson is practicing Wednesday; WRs Paul Richardson (knee) and Jamison Crowder (ankle) not at practice
Thompson didn’t play in Week 6 but looks to have a good chance of returning in Week 7 after going through individual drills today. Maurice Harris filled in for Crowder in Week 6 while Richardson gutted out the knee injury and would be in line for an expanded role once again if either wideout were to miss Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.
As reported by: John Keim Other tagged players: Jamison Crowder, Paul RichardsonQB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) practicing Wednesday
This was a limited practice for Miami’s QB1 as he wasn’t seen throwing passes. Consider him questionable for Week 7 in what would be a friendly home matchup against Detroit’s 28th ranked pass defense by DVOA.
As reported by: Adam Beasley Other tagged players: Brock OsweilerWR T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) plans to practice Wednesday
Hilton will test out the hamstring that’s caused him to miss the past couple weeks for the Colts. Consider him questionable for Sunday’s home game against the Bills. Fellow wideout Chester Rogers has seen double digit targets in the 2 games that Hilton has missed, though the Bills secondary will be no pushover this week.
As reported by: Kevin Bowen Other tagged players: Chester RogersTavon Austin's Season in Doubt
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said WR Tavon Austin will be getting a second opinion on his injured right groin, could be done for year. Perhaps a few more targets to spread around in Dallas. Maybe Micheal Gallup gets used more in the deep passing game.
As reported by: Brandon George TwitterDerek Anderson Will Start for Buffalo
Bills are starting QB Derek Anderson this week and coach Sean McDermott says Josh Allen is week to week. This is, more than likely, an upgrade to opposing defenses more than anything else. There isn’t much fantasy appeal in the Bills offense these days
As reported by: Ian Rapoport TwitterYeldon Sits Out Practice
This could end up being huge news if Yeldon misses a game. Fournette looks like he is out and Corey Grant’s season is over. We could have some big value in the Jaguars backfield open up if TJ Yeldon misses a game
As reported by: Tad Dickman TwitterJaguars RB Leonard Fournette Not Practicing
Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette not practicing again, not a good sign for Sunday. We expected this, but the bigger news is TJ Yeldon also missing practice. We will update through out the week.
As reported by: Ian Rapoport TwitterJosh Allen (elbow) expected to miss 2-3 weeks
It has been reported that Josh Allen is expected to miss 2-3 weeks due to his elbow injury. For the duration of Allen’s absence, an already weak Bills offense will be even worse, as either interception-prone Nathan Peterman or newly signed vet Derek Anderson will be under center. No Bills offensive players will be fantasy-relevant in either case, and opposing DST’s will be popular plays in Allen’s absence.
49ers sign QB Tom Savage
The 49ers have signed QB Tom Savage, who presumably will serve as backup to C.J. Beathard, who has had a decent degree of success thus far as the 49ers starting QB after the loss of Jimmy Garoppolo.
Falcons sign K Giorgio Tavecchio
The Falcons have signed K Giorgio Tavecchio, who will presumably fill in for Matt Bryant who is not expected to play week 7.
