RB Theo Riddick (knee) not at practice Thursday
That’s now consecutive practices that the Lions pass-catching back has missed. To this point in the season, Riddick and Kerryon Johnson have each seen 40% of the backfield snaps so look for the rookie to take on more of a featured role, including most of the passing game work, on Sunday if Riddick sits. At just $4,500 on DraftKings, Johnson would be quite the value going against a Dolphins defense that’s traditionally been generous to opposing RB’s.
As reported by: Tim Twentyman Other tagged players: Kerryon JohnsonTime to Get Cook-In
With the injury to Cooper Kupp, who had a 21.78% target share, the masses will be flocking to Robert Woods. However, I will be leveraging that with none other than the one and only Brandin Cooks. Cooks currently sits at a 21.29% target share, and I expect than number to increase with Kupp’s absence. Cooks has catches of 20+ yards or more in every game that he’s touched the field, and I don’t expect that stops here. He has an extremely winnable matchup with Jimmie Ward (#100 ranked CB according to PFF) and I fully expect him to attack Ward downfield with his elite speed this week. The target distribution for the Rams has been one of the most evenly balanced passing attacks in the league, with all receivers putting up big numbers and a fairly equal target distribution. With one of them down, I expect the others to pick up the slack. This is the perfect “zig while others zag” opportunity, and I will be taking full advantage of it with Mr. Cooks.
Is This Really Happening?
One of the best kept secrets over the past two weeks has been none other than Mr. Trubisky, who has been arguably the best quarterback during that stretch from a fantasy perspective. With games of 31.34 fpts and 46.46 fpts, one would think that we would be running to roster him this Sunday, but we are not. Against a Patriots defense that has given up games of 376/4 to Blake Bortles, 365/3 to Andrew Luck, and 352/4 to Patrick Mahomes, I feel confident that Trubisky will be able to get the job done here at a very reasonable price across the industry. With the creative play calling of Matt Nagy, and sneaky scrambling ability, Trubisky is one of the best kept tournament secrets on this slate. Shhhh, don’t tell anyone I said that.

Veteran Tight End Available for Cheap Despite Being Large Home Favorite
Adam Thielan is getting all of the attention in the Minnesota receiving corps, but Tight End Kyle Rudolph has put together a decent season at a thin position, with 27 receptions and 266 yards including two touchdowns, and at least four receptions each of the last five weeks. Rudolph’s salary has actually dropped a bit, to $6,000 on FanDuel, $3,900 on DraftKings, and $8,400 on FantasyDraft, despite his consistency and the Vikings being large 10-point favorites at home this week. He isn’t splashy and he’s unlikely to put up a huge yardage number, but Rudolph remains a red-zone option for Kirk Cousins and he is available at a cheap salary.
Bargain-Priced Running Back Takes on Weak Rush Defense
Peyton Barber was suffering through a disappointing season, but he showed some signs of life against Atlanta, rushing for 82 yards on 13 attempts and reeling in four catches for 24 yards and a touchdown. This week Barber takes on a Cleveland rush defense that ranks 29th in rushing yards allowed per game, and Tampa Bay is a three point favorite at home. Barber is still bargain priced, particularly on DraftKings where he costs only $3,800 and FantasyDraft where he costs only $8,200, meaning he could return good value if he can put up a repeat performance against the Browns.
Wentz Will Practice Fully Tomorrow
Wentz is fine coming off knee surgery last season. He’ll be out there against Carolina.
As reported by: Jimmy Kempski TwitterBig-Play WR Takes on Pass Defense Giving Up Big Plays
Minnesota has had surprising trouble giving up big pass plays this season, ranking 29th in the league at 8.9 receiving yards per attempt allowed. This week the Vikings go on the road to face a Jets team that features Wide Receiver Robby Anderson, who ranks 4th in the league with 19.3 yards-per-reception despite working with a rookie QB. Anderson is bargain priced at $5,400 on FanDuel, $4,500 on DraftKings, and $8,800 on FantasyDraft, and will be looking to put up a big score on the exploitable Vikings pass defense.
Cooper Kupp ruled out for Week 7
Not a huge surprise here, but it has big DFS implications. Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks are even more solidified with Woods setting up as a true top target in Week 7. Josh Reynolds is the leading candidate to pick up playing time with Kupp out, and he falls on the DFS radar as a GPP punt for those bullish on the Rams offense. Todd Gurley remains the focus in the Rams offense, but Woods and Cooks both have ample appeal heading into Week 7.

The Jets have ruled out Quincy Enunwa for Sunda.; Isaiah Crowell, Robby Anderson, Terrelle Pryor all missed Wednesday’s session, and the Jets will certainly need some depth at WR with Enunwa on the shelf. Jermaine Kearse led the team in looks last week and would figure to step into Enunwa’s role for the most part, setting him up as a potential punt play at the WR spot. He’s probably a better fit on full-point PPR sites, but he’d get a boost if either Anderson or Pryor end up being inactive. We’ll track the status of these guys as the week progresses.
As reported by: Eric Allen Other tagged players: Isaiah Crowell, Robbie Chosen, Terrelle Pryor, Jermaine KearseDarren Sproles misses Wednesday's practice, Carson Wentz limited
Darren Sproles misses Wednesday’s practice, a sign the Eagles may once again be without the pass-catching back. Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood figure to continue leading the backfield with Jay Ajayi out for the year, with Josh Adams a threat to steal some early down work. Adams struggled to see the field in a blowout win over the Giants, so he’s a clear third fiddle. Carson Wentz was limited today, but there is no concern in regards to his status against Carolina.
