Isaiah Crowell

Las Vegas Raiders
10/14/18, 10:19 AM ET

Isaiah Crowell (ankle) active Sunday vs Colts

Isaiah Crowell will be active Sunday vs the Colts despite his ankle injury, as expected. It is unclear if he will shoulder his usual workload, although the splits between he and Bilal Powell have varied greatly on a game-by-game basis anyway. For now, consider the Jets backfield the usual timeshare between Crowell and Powell, with Crowell getting most of the early-down work and Powell having slightly more pass game involvement.

Rob Gronkowski

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Rob Gronkowski (ankle) and Josh Gordon (hamstring) both expected to play Sunday night

Rob Gronkowski (ankle) and Josh Gordon (hamstring) are both expected to play Sunday night for the Patriots, as expected. Look for them to see a high volume of targets in what projects to be a back-and-forth shootout with the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Report: Ryan Tannehill battling AC joint sprain

Ryan Tannehill is said to be battling an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder and is truly questionable for Sunday. If he is unable to suit up, it means Brock Osweiler would start under center against the vaunted Bears defense. While none of the pass-game options from the Dolphins were really on the radar regardless, obviously Tannehill’s absence would further downgrade the Dolphins offense in general and make the Bears DST an even stronger play.

Greg Olsen

Carolina Panthers
10/14/18, 7:57 AM ET

Greg Olsen (foot) expected to start Sunday

As has been reported throughout the week, Greg Olsen (foot) is expected to start Sunday for the Panthers. It appears he has fully recovered from the foot injury that kept him out weeks 2-5, so expect him to return to his role of primary tight end and one of Cam Newton’s favorite targets in the passing game.

John Ross

Philadelphia Eagles
10/14/18, 7:56 AM ET

John Ross (groin, knee) not expected to play Sunday.

John Ross is not expected to suit up Sunday for the Bengals due to knee and groin injuries. Look for AJ Green and Tyler Boyd to get the majority of the targets in the passing game, as usual. Ross’s absence provides a slight bump to CJ Uzomah as well, who should see a season-high in targets this week as injuries to Tyler Eifert and Tyler Kroft have left him as the only viable Bengals tight end.

O.J. Howard

Las Vegas Raiders
10/14/18, 12:19 AM ET

Schefter Saturday Night Hammers Part 2: OJ Howard, Deshaun Watson expected to play Sunday

Neither of these pieces of news are all that shocking, given that Howard practiced in full on Friday and got two limited sessions in earlier in the week. That sieves some value from Cameron Brate, who had previously looked like one of the better value plays at TE. Still, if Howard is limited at all, it’s possible Brate’s workload is increased. Deshaun Watson has been dealing with a chest issue this week, but is expected to play and will have all three of his top receivers active as well – none of them appeared on the final injury report.

Kapri Bibbs

10/14/18, 12:16 AM ET

Schefter Saturday Night Hammers: Chris Thompson, Jamison Crowder both expected to sit; Dalvin Cook expected to be limited to roughly half the offensive snaps

Chris Thompson and Jamison Crowder are both expected to sit Sunday against the Panthers. With Thompson out, Kapri Bibbs should pick up passing down duties and with Adrian Peterson banged up, it’s possible he ends up earning a healthy share of the rushing work, especially if the Redskins are playing from behind. Crowder did not practice at all this week, and Josh Doctson/Paul Richardson are both banged up heading into Sunday. Maurice Harris could be in store for a fairly large role in the offense, setting him up to have some very solid PPR value especially considering his $3K salary on DraftKings. Harris can operate out of the slot and his ceiling would rise if any of the other Washington pass-catchers are ruled out on Sunday. Jordan Reed is a strong TE target across the industry while Bibbs also sets up as one of the premier value plays at RB on DraftKings.

Dalvin Cook is expected to be limited to roughly half the snaps, so he’s going to be really tough to touch for DFS purposes. Latavius Murray, Roc Thomas and CJ Ham are candidates to see increased work, but none of them are recommended value targets at this point.

Kirk Cousins

Las Vegas Raiders
10/13/18, 6:51 PM ET

A Low Owned QB With a High Ceiling

Per the FanShare Buzz Tool in LHQ, Kirk Cousins has been one of the least discussed quarterbacks around the DFS industry this week, despite playing at home with a team total that has climbed to 27.25. The lack of discussion around Cousins is largely due to him being priced near the same price point as Matt Ryan, who figures to be the chalk spend-up QB option in a dream matchup against Tampa Bay. That said, Cousins also finds himself in a great spot facing a Cardinals defense that allowed 349 yards and two touchdowns to C.J. Beathard last week. The other thing working for Cousins is the Vikings total lack of a run game – they are the only team in the NFL without a rushing touchdown, and the only Vikings rusher to have a carry of 20+ yards is Stefon Diggs. There is no reason to deviate from Matt Ryan in cash, but if looking to differentiate for GPPs, consider Cousins at a fraction of the ownership and similar upside.

George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers
10/13/18, 4:34 PM ET

George Kittle (knee) questionable for Monday night

George Kittle is officially listed as questionable for Monday night due to a knee injury. That said, there is nothing to suggest Kittle is in serious doubt of missing the contest, as he was able to practice in some capacity all week and wasn’t limited during week 5. That said, keep an eye on Monday’s injury report to ensure Kittle will take the field and see his usual allotment of targets from C.J. Beathard.

Pierre Garcon

San Francisco 49ers
10/13/18, 4:32 PM ET

Pierre Garcon (shoulder, knee) questionable for Monday night, expected to play

Pierre Garcon is listed as questionable for Monday night due to shoulder and knee injuries, but is expected to play. Garcon has had a disappointing season thus far, and his upside has been significantly reduced with the loss of Jimmy Garoppolo. Look for Garcon to see his usual allotment of targets from CJ Beathard Monday, as he, Marquise Goodwin and George Kittle (assuming he is active) will be Beathard’s primary targets.

Matt Breida

San Francisco 49ers
10/13/18, 6:09 PM ET

Matt Breida (ankle) officially questionable for Monday night

Matt Breida is officially listed as questionable for Monday night due to an ankle injury. That said, Breida was unable to log a practice all week until being limited on Saturday due to his ankle sprain, so he appears somewhat unlikely to suit up against the Packers. If he is unable to go, look for Alfred Morris to lead the rushing attack for the 49ers.

Greg Olsen

Carolina Panthers
10/13/18, 4:34 PM ET

Greg Olsen (foot) expected to play Sunday

Greg Olsen is expected to play Sunday after missing weeks 2-5 due to a foot injury. This is consistent with him being able to practice throughout the week, and reports from earlier in the week that suggested he was expected to play. Look for Olsen to assume the primary tight end role and be one of Cam Newton’s most heavily targeted passing options.

Aaron Rodgers

Pittsburgh Steelers
10/13/18, 3:25 PM ET

Aaron Rodgers (knee) and Jimmy Graham (knee) both not listed on final injury report, will play Monday night

Aaron Rodgers (knee) and Jimmy Graham (knee) are both not listed on the Packers final injury report, and will play Monday night against the 49ers, as expected. Look for each to see their usual workload at their respective positions, with Graham seeing a slight uptick in targets if Randall Cobb or Geronimo Allison are inactive.

Randall Cobb

New York Jets
10/13/18, 3:07 PM ET

Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) both questionable for Monday night

Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) have both been listed as questionable for Monday night for the Packers. Both receivers were able to log limited practices throughout the week and appeared to be trending in the right direction towards suiting up Monday, however they both at this point seem truly questionable for Monday night’s game. If one or both of them ended up being unable to play, Marquez Valdes-Scantling will likely see a heavier target share much like he did in week 5.

Browns place WR Derrick Willies (collarbone) on IR

The Browns have placed WR Derrick Willies on IR due to a collarbone injury. With Rashard Higgins banged up as well look for Antonio Callaway and possibly the newly signed Breshad Perriman to get additional targets alongside Jarvis Landry and David Njoku for the Browns passing attack.
